I have a twin oaks pellet/ gas grill. I use the Bluetooth pretty regularly when I’m cooking I slow cooked meat. The Bluetooth connects good sometimes I have to reload it to get it to connect but overall very rarely do I lose connection. Granted if I get too far away from the Bluetooth on the grill it will lose connection so I’ve learned Not to get too far away from it. If you’re using a Bluetooth speaker you know good and well if you get too far from the speakers or get into an obstructed area you’re going to lose connection with those speakers. So I use the grill in the same mindset. I have had a grill for more than nine months now and use CuisinartEasyConnect and I’ve just learned to work with it I don’t expect to be 50 feet from it and expected to work. The only downfall with CuisinartEasyConnect is there isn’t much recipes on here so I’ll download Traeger app to get some better recipes. Don’t just return the grill because the Bluetooth doesn’t work you may be doing it wrong. This is a good grill are you going to lose out.

Phone on silent or do not disturb? No problem! CuisinartEasyConnect will gladly just make noise when In those modes. Smoking something and off to church? Despite being on silence, CuisinartEasyConnect will embarrass you by interrupting any sermon no matter how silent you make your phone! Need to turn off the alarm? Nope! You have to close CuisinartEasyConnect . Acknowledging the alert does nothing. Why? Who knows because CuisinartEasyConnect will not stay connected for longer than about 20 seconds. Want to change your Wi-Fi? CuisinartEasyConnect includes white text in a white edit field for your convenience. Editing settings gs has never been stupider. Smoker is great. App is hot, melted garbage.

The grill has been awesome! CuisinartEasyConnect does help make it really easy, especially if you are cooking by temperature. Saw many say CuisinartEasyConnect disconnects. That is NOT an app issue. It is just a distance from the grill thing - which is kind of a bluetooth thing.

I set my iPad up right inside my house where it has a good connection and leave it there. It stays connected the whole time and keeps me updated as needed.

CuisinartEasyConnect is garbage and needs a major update and overhaul!! You have to be within 10’ of the grill to stay connected. If you leave that area it constantly connects and disconnects and alerts you of this. So CuisinartEasyConnect blows up your phone with alerts. I turned off the alerts on my phone but Apple Watch continues with notifications. Every time you start a new grill seasoning you have to find and connect to the grill. It does not remember your grill. There are not a lot of recipes in CuisinartEasyConnect . I downloaded the Traeger app for the recipes. I love the Twin Oakes grill so far and would recommend it just not CuisinartEasyConnect !

Yes, like many of the people have stated, you have to be close to the grill for Bluetooth to work. Not an app issue, that’s the technology.
I use an iPad and connect it to the grill, then screen share to my Apple TV. Let’s me see the temp while I’m working. I really like the target temp tracker so you can see how much further you need to go for a particular cut of meat!

I purchased an amazing smoker that works awesome. Thought it would be a cool idea to be able to have the ability to use it remotely, I WAS SO WRONG!!!! CuisinartEasyConnect is so broken I can’t even get it to stay open, if it doesn’t crash I get nothing but I white screen. I can see from the reviews that I should not have given CuisinartEasyConnect the benefit of the doubt. So disappointed!! I usually read the reviews and take them with a grain of salt, this time I should have listened to them. I hope you fix CuisinartEasyConnect as I do think it would be awesome to use.

I bought a cuisinart EasyConnect bbq thermometer last week. It worked flawlessly, at first. App synced, temps read, alarms worked. Today I can’t get CuisinartEasyConnect synced with the thermometer. I’ve tried everything, Bluetooth off on my iPhone 10, restart my phone, batteries out of the thermometer, forget the thermometer and re-sync, reinstalled CuisinartEasyConnect . The thermometer will not pair with CuisinartEasyConnect . The thermometer is great, it reads the temperatures like it should. I didn’t pay 50 bucks for a basic thermometer. I wanted one I can set temps with. Save your money and get one with a better app.

Bought this thermometer thinking it was a quality product. I get home and start trying to connect through bluetooth. The thermometer show a connection but CuisinartEasyConnect does not. After almost 2 hours of trying all the trouble shooting. I have removed CuisinartEasyConnect and it’s data, turned my phone off, removed batteries from the thermometer. Removed the probes and nothing not a blip of a connection. Since I’m in the middle of cooking will return this tomorrow. Horrible product. Do not waste your time or money.

CuisinartEasyConnect keeps crashing every time I click find new devices. Therefore making it quite difficult to work the actual device being that my 2 in 1 has no way of picking the meat without it being connected to my phone

App is easy to use with a couple extras. Recipes, history, big bold lettering and multiple timers are a huge plus. Downside? Well Bluetooth just isn’t it. It’s a horrible technology with range and kills the battery on your phone. CuisinartEasyConnect would. R much better utilized with whole home Wi-Fi for range and usability. Keep working guys

First off I love my grill but CuisinartEasyConnect is horrible. It had so many problems. First if you are more then 6 ft away from your device it will disconnect. Second the time is a great idea however if your device disconnects then the timer stops and resets. CuisinartEasyConnect crashes all the time and stops working. There is no point in CuisinartEasyConnect to check temps if when you’re more then 6 ft away it’s disconnects. I can just look at my grill to see my temps. App needs a lot of work.

CuisinartEasyConnect refuses to stay connected unless you’re standing right next to it. Walk away for just a little bit and you’re out of luck. Then you get connect and disconnect about 250 messages a minute, you eventually have to turnOff alerts and just watch the grill personally. The smoker works well...CuisinartEasyConnect is TRASH. If you want the ability to monitor it with your phone go look anywhere else but here.

It’s a very basic app, the biggest issue I have is when You open CuisinartEasyConnect , I’m using an IPhone 10, it automatically turns my phone volume down to very low? There is no alarm or volume control In CuisinartEasyConnect itself, so why does it turn my phone down when in use?? It’s kind of important to hear the alarms you set would think...I don’t understand why they would do that ?

Simple app and it works. Albeit you have to be in Bluetooth range. When it disconnects and automatically reconnects sans issues. Not sure if this is gimmicky or useful yet but regardless it’s a nice feature.

Already disappointed with app on first try. Like so many others have said, CuisinartEasyConnect would be great if it didn’t crash every other minute. I can’t leave my phone sitting next to the grill for hours at a time and I think 30 feet away is more than a reasonable distance to expect it to maintain connectivity. If I could connect via my home’s WiFi I’d be in business!

The functionality of CuisinartEasyConnect is great if it would work consistently. Problem is, it crashes constantly, so you can’t actually keep track of a grill/smoke and save your progress.

I paid stupid money for their Bluetooth thermometer, thinking this would help me during 12 hours of smoking beef.

CuisinartEasyConnect crashes constantly, cannot maintain connectivity, and honestly rates so poorly that it may be the most unstable app that I’ve ever used.

Cuisinart was supposed to be a quality brand, but I guess they sent everything offshore to the cheapest labor they could find, and then had the gall to release a product and charge $50 for it when it is utter and complete garbage.

I’m not only unhappy with CuisinartEasyConnect , I’m not sure I can even trust the company. They didn’t even *try* with this.

Maybe hire some developers that can figure CuisinartEasyConnect out. Once you configure your cook it is unacceptable to lose those settings. CuisinartEasyConnect seems to reset if you switch apps and let EasyConnect run in the background. Worst part is losing the temp history chart. Also your Bluetooth doesn’t come anywhere close to 100’...30’ is a stretch.

As I was setting up the thermometer, the Bluetooth disconnected after about 60 seconds, literally sitting on the table next to me. It hasn’t stopped disconnecting since. On my first use, it has disconnected about 50 times. I’ve been within 25 feet the whole cook time. It’s very difficult to use with the constant disconnects.

I love the grill! CuisinartEasyConnect would be great if it would work without constantly crashing! I slept in the living room last night so I would be close enough to the smoker for my Bluetooth to stay connected and low and behold it crashed in the middle of the night so it didn’t go off when it hit the temps I needed! Thank God I had set a time on my iPhone as well because I would have ruined a brisket. Absolutely do not rely on CuisinartEasyConnect when cooking!

The Bluetooth range is horrible you go No more than 20 feet away and it drops out then it resets everything you had so it doesn’t recover well have a I grill thermometer and I can walk all over the place and if it does disconnect it reconnects where it was this is a very poor configuration of app and Bluetooth

Using an iPhone 10 I have never once gotten CuisinartEasyConnect to connect to my phone via Bluetooth. The thermometer shows that it is connected to my phone but CuisinartEasyConnect never pairs, it just says “pairing” indefinitely. They way they market this product is blatant false advertising

Bought the thermometer today, I downloaded CuisinartEasyConnect and the two will not stay paired. I will leave CuisinartEasyConnect running in the background and every now and then I will check the temp to find that it unpaired. It’s easy to do but I lose the temp data and it’s quite annoying.
