I’m a brand new user of this app and so far it’s a really nice app, I do have some suggestions for HerHelp though. The block button doesn’t completely block the person you no longer wish to contact. I was still getting messages after blocking a person I no longer wished to talk to. I had to delete my account and start over, which I shouldn’t have to do. It’s amazing that we can post anonymously, but I can’t see my posts after I submit them. I can only see it when someone comments, I don’t think that is very efficient. Overall I think there needs to be a better navigation system for the mobile app and better resources for reporting and blocking.

Update:
How is anyone finding an actual supportive person on that app? Girls for girls is a myth and HerHelp just proved to me that no one actually cares.

It’s a good idea but I feel like it’s a copy of Flo and Reddit…but super cluttered. It’s not user friendly at all…the spacing it super tight and it’s all in your face at one. It also took me like 3-4 tries to get into HerHelp . Plus you have to pay money to access any videos. It also is not conservative girlie friendly! You are most definitely not welcome if you are right leaning.

so HerHelp started as a cute little ideas yk. but now anytime I try to write ANYTHING it gets moved by the admins to the let’s connect group like what?? i had a super serious issue i needed to talk to someone abt but no one answers to the let’s connect and the admins are so rude i have been left on delivered for this problem for MONTHS not even kidding!!

you’d figure this is about having an app to help with safety that can connect to hotlines and things since that’s what’s promoted. Even if it was actually like that women shouldn’t have to pay $10/month to feel included in womanhood or feel safe or whatever the case may be. Resources should not cost $120 a year. Do better

It is a great app and can get you what you need but it isn’t in my taste, I feel like it is empty and just overall not really my cup of tea persay. I think with work it can get be great it’s just bland and not much to actual do and help!

why does the admins in HerHelp add you to groups you didn’t join or even showed related posts to the group? i made a post and they immediately changed where i posted it and added me to a random group? no one saw my pist or helped me with my problem because they added me to a group and didn’t let me post my question in the latest posts feed. Also please listen to the comments people make about HerHelp to make it a better place for girls.

The help content is not actually free like advertised. You have to pay for a subscription unfortunately, so it's the same as all the other apps in that way. Also it's soooo glitchy, you can't post most times, after the 1st post it just glitches out and you can't post again. I asked on HerHelp in the threads part if that was the case for everyone else and everyone who responded said it was glitchy for them too and didn't work properly. The vibes are great on there with the users, the women are so kind! But HerHelp itself/ actual making of HerHelp is rlly bad!! If you want to chat with other girls in the threads it's great bc of the other girls responding, and that feature (thread chat) seems to work, but everything else advertised is either not true or doesn't work.

HerHelp was really good but then there was an update where the creater has to approve all posts. I get she did this for a reason but please take it off 😭. I really needed help with advice and I couldn’t even post it cause it wasn’t approved. It wasn’t even inappropriate I just said I needed to pack and needed packing hacks. So yea

I love HerHelp so much bcuz it’s so helpful. I do have one problem though. We can’t reply to comments. I think it would be amazing if we could, and this is because we could say ‘thank you’ or give some feedback for these girls! Anyways, I love this. Replying to comments would a great thing to consider adding to HerHelp . 💞

Its an amazing app for us girlies but its a bit unreasonable to have to pay $10 every month to learn about things like healthy discharge, types of STDs and even just the yoga is disappointing. Those things are so important and young girls wont always have the money for that, especially if they are young and just hit puberty. Its sad to see those as a money grab when it could help so many girls all over the world but instead they resort to frantic google searches thinking something is wrong.

I love HerHelp so far ! There’s just a lot of bug fixes that need to be fixed ! We can’t message people because the screen goes grey, then my profile picture and my name doesn’t want to show up when I comment, even though when you press on it, it goes straight to my profile. Please fix
And also can you add our posts to our profiles so we can go back and look at them if we wanted to PLEASE AND THANK YOUUUU ! Other then that amazing app 💘

I haven’t been receiving notifs whenever someone messages me recently. (Could be my setting but idk) I’m also not the biggest fan of having to wait for admin approval before posting because typically my problem is solved by the time is gets approved. I get that it’s supposed to help avoid spam but it’s just not a very quick process. Other than that I do really like HerHelp and I enjoy being able to connect with the other girlies using it.

Just subbed, tried to click on a conversation to reply, took me to the group, not the individual thread. So much potential in HerHelp, I love the concept. Will stick around, but for $10 a month, I won’t for long if the bugs aren’t addressed.

I just downloaded HerHelp and think it’s a great way to connect online and get advice! I wish you could see your previous comments and posts somewhere (maybe you can and I just couldn’t find it?). I also wish there were a few more free recipes and things to try before choosing to buy a subscription or not. I would recommend HerHelp to friends!

I love the idea and concept of HerHelp and I only have one negative about it which is I can’t change my profile info. Like I’m not a creep or anything I would just like to take my last name out of my displayed name.

Okay, so I was thinking about a few things.

1. When trying to get to see my post I can't because when I click on the notification/inbox thing it takes me to their profile! So I have no idea which post they liked :(

2. Also there's so many more groups I'd want to join. I think you should make/be able to request to form a group. It's important to growing a community who understands you!!

I might add more later, but these are important and I think they should be added asap.

Great app. Only one suggestion, what if we could make groups? Honestly, I don’t really like the groups that there is right now. Would be cool if I could make my own for others to join as well. And some sort of Pinterest like thing would be cool.

Hey! I’m absolutely loving HerHelp so far and everything it has to offer!!! I just sadly noticed that I can’t comment on people’s posts, I don’t know if I’m missing something or not but the comment button is gray and won’t let me press it. Let me know if there’s anything I can do!

First of a HerHelp is amazing. What a great idea and great way to connect women/nonbinary people to help one another. I do have a few suggestions:

1. Be able to tag people in responses. I've had people comment on my posts and I'd love to be able to tag them so they can see (idk exactly how notifications work so I'm not sure if they see when someone else comments on a post they also commented on)

2. Have the posts you've made visible on your profile. I'd love to be able to go back and look at posts I've made and the comments I receive

3. Have a way to save/bookmark posts. There are some posts I see that I relate to and want the same advice or support but there aren't many comments yet. It'd be nice to be able to save them so I could go back later and check for responses.

Overall HerHelp has already been so helpful for me and I'm so glad it exists.

So far I'm loving HerHelp and I would love to see more people use it. I've had a few bugs happen, though. I'm also a graphic designer who has designed for web, and here are my suggestions:

- Separate different features of HerHelp more instead of having them all on the home screen. I think the home screen should be reserved for things like new features or an overview of your activity. I totally get it though as this is a new app.
- It seems like the Help a Sister Out section is a major part of HerHelp . I'd promote this more on social media! I found out about HerHelp from a reel showing this feature.
- Help a Sister Out could use a refresh button and the ability to like replies. Also, since there are tons of new messages every minute, maybe have different categories? Relationships, Work, School, Fashion, etc.
- I'd like to be able to make user photos bigger (either automatically or with a tap) in replies and in the user's profile. I can't see well.
- Highlighting words while typing is super hard to see since it makes the color of the highlight white. I would use the standard iOS colors or increase the contrast.

Also, I could not start using HerHelp right away because I never got an email sent with an authentication code. I checked spam, and I just never got it. I tried about 2 weeks later with a different email/username, and it worked. Not sure if this bug has been fixed for everyone, but thought I'd let you know!

It’s a solid app and I really love how fast people respond only problem is for a lot of cute or helpful stuff you need premium which is $10 a month and I think happiness should be free

I found out about HerHelp after I watched a Snapchat article. I thought the idea was absolutely beautiful. When I explored HerHelp I absolutely fell in love. It is such a wonderful and positive community of people helping people. There are ways to talk about what you are going through, videos about different feelings and ways to destress, tons of positive comments from other community members, and an option to share your journey with others. It’s so inspiring and honestly a support system is the only thing that has gotten me through hard times and I feel absolutely everyone deserves one. I recommended HerHelp to my therapist to share with her clients who need an extra boost. There are resource options on the page and overall HerHelp is amazing and if I could give more stars I would. The person who created HerHelp is an absolute Angel for doing it. I hope they know that they are helping SO many people and that what they did for this community is amazing.

It’s the best thing i ever downloaded. It makes me feel like i’m not alone in situations! It’s a safe place to tell other amazing women your situation and them hearing you out and telling you how they feel. Most amazing thing to download! I recommend you download it if your going through something you wish to share.

I really like it, everyone is so positive, but i will be deleting it because whenever i try to make a “help a girl out” post, it doesn’t let me post, it’s not something negative that i’m posting or anything bad, but still it doesn’t let post, put other that that i love the posts and journeys they have on there🫶

I absolutely love HerHelp and i find it so helpful, fun, sweet, and all together amazing! i mean i love to help people through there problems give people suggestions and i have been able to do that with HerHelp and its great! there have been so many things that i have shared that i wouldn’t be comfortable sharing yo family and friends that i have shared on here and gotten help with it and i think i have done the same with helping others with there problems too! it really makes my heart happy when the people i have made suggestions or helped them reach out and thank me and i love it! truly thank you too the creator of this its such a great outlet to really get helped and help other girls!!🫶🫶

I adore the girlhood of HerHelp. It feels safe and comfy and gosh us girls NEEDED this. my only qualm is that the free options within categories is super hard to find. for the sake of trial (literally), i think it’d be awesome to have at least one or two free things in each sub-category that is very easy to find. this alone would motivate me more to be a member of HerHelp !

I love HerHelp so much! I’ve only had it for like 20 minutes but still. I saw it on TikTok and knew I needed it. First off, HerHelp has such a positive feeling to it. And it has tons of great things to it. I love that I can give and get advice! I wish we could like people’s comments, tag people, book mark stuff, and be able to see your comments on your account. HerHelp needs a little bit of work but overall I still love it, and would definitely recommend it!
