Before one could pay your bill by credit card. The process has now changed. Now if you do so this app stores your credit card details and only in the T&Cs they tell you that you are actually creating a mobile wallet profile MOMO. Cannot pay unless you have a wallet with them.
How does Africas largest mobile Network Operator make such a horrific app? Why do you get interrupted with a “processing” popup whenever you tap on any menu option? This makes doing anything in MTN super tedious!! Why can I not have 2 SIM cards associated with one profile? Frequent disconnections and errors too.
Tried on multiple iOS devices, MTN doesn't allow for self-RICA. The photos you take (selfie and of your ID) are all stretched and won't allow you past next step. Customer support was unable to help, so, since I'm abroad (and can't visit a store) my phone number will be lost.
When trying to change the Spend Limit on this app APP it just stuck on the same screen and says processing.
Please fix this functionality. You are going to be push your customers to Vodacom or MNO’s
The worst app, after every update something els does not work. This is the 3rd time the email my statement does not work in 18 months.

next time i come to SA i’ll be using Vodacom again. constant spam texts, calls and even system messages are an unbelievable nuisance.
I just get a yellow screen with the this app logo on it when I open MTN . Boggles the mind that a company as large as this app is unable to produce a functioning app.
the instructions for a device that can’t receive an OTP don’t work. MTN still tries to SMS me when I can’t receive OTPs.
The latest update broke MTN . It freezes on the start-up screen
Absolutely terrible. Works MAYBE 10% of the time. Why make a new app if it’s not going to work?

Wow what a piece of garbage app. It can literally not do anything. How can such a massive company not afford to hire proper developers
The functionality of the this app App is poor. Currently it doesn’t connect and says “check internet connection”. I have an excellent 100/98 connection over fibre! If you have two numbers on your account the primary number can’t check balances on the secondary number without the secondary number having to give the primary their OTP - so you both have to be in the same vicinity which is useless. With all their resources this app could be doing a LOT better!
