I was excited to see the Jack’s app has been introduced when I got my receipt this morning. Sat down to eat my breakfast and set up my app info. Scanned the QR code several times and it said I’m not near a Jack’s location. I’m sitting in the lobby of a Jack’s! Tried to enter the code manually but it doesn’t allow letters to be entered, only numbers. The code includes letters and numbers. I hope Jack’s gets the fixed because I usually visit Jack’s four to five times a week.
Follow-up Review: It’s now been several weeks since Jack’s has rolled out its app, and it’s still a major fail. Employees, including managers, at several locations still don’t know how to credit the customers points after the customer scans the QR. There is only one employee, who is a manager, I have found that knows what to enter on the register after customer scans. Unfortunately for me, she can’t work every shift.
As another option, Jack’s receipts usually will print out a QR I can scan with my phone’s QR reader. Lately, the receipts haven’t been doing it. Please get it together Jack’s. I’m a regular customer, but issues with your app and employees not knowing how it works is becoming a REGULAR event.
