I have never written a review for an app before but I felt compelled to write this one given the numerous bad reviews. Granted, I haven’t attempted to use the microphone or scheduled timer anddd the music option should probably just be taken off EhomeLight considering it either doesn’t work or simply gives you an option for maybe ten obscure songs that no one would actually want to listen to, butttt, the most important feature of EhomeLight works like a charm for me- The lights are extremely responsive, reacting instantaneously to how you adjust the brightness and color and the color wheel itself is pretty neat as it gives you a decently broad range of options. I had absolutely no set or programming whatsoever to do on my behalf. Upon downloading, the lights and app synced immediately, which was a relief. So props to the designers for this part of EhomeLight , however, if I may kindly suggest, EhomeLight would benefit from doing away with any other features as the details are not fine-tuned or just don’t work. So if you’re like me and really just want to be able to control the color and brightness of your LEDs from your phone, EhomeLight will be perfect for you.

These LED lights are way better than what people are saying. Now it could be different for everyone being the fact that they’re purchased online, so you may get a good or a bad set. For me, they’ve been great! However, I didn’t give it a 5-star rating because the Music option is really odd. When I first connected EhomeLight to my lights, it connected very fast and the lights itself and all the other cool options that are there worked perfect, but the music only connected some songs. For example, It has some by The Beach Boys, Eminem and Foster the People, but there’s MANY more songs I have on Apple Music that don’t work on there. With the songs that actually work on it, the lights flashed in sync really cool! It was like I had my own rave in my bedroom! And if any of you who are planning on buying these and own a speaker to play your music with the lights, yes: you are able to connect to both your speaker and the lights through Bluetooth at the same time. Honestly, these lights are awesome and I definitely recommend buying them!

I think these lights are really cool and worth it but my only issue is the music feature. It is terrible it’s the same thing for every song. I know it’s hard to sync but for the songs that come with it it’s all just the same. I think the Music sync feature definitely needs some work to make it well sync better. It feels like it’s there bc people want it there but they didn’t want to put too much effort into it. Also the songs sound like they were all recorded in an elevator.. just why? Why do they sound so bad? Other than that it’s a decent app and decent lights.

My brother bought these light strips that work with EhomeLight. He has an iPhone XR and the bottom of the options are pushed out of view and EhomeLight doesn’t scroll so he can’t do things like change the sensitivity of the mic. This is bad because the it starts out with the mic sensitivity at zero and so that function is useless. I tried it on my iPhone 6s and all the options are in view so I could change the sensitivity. Even more annoying the mic sensitivity at least started at 50% default for me for some reason instead of 0% for him. For both of us it did NOT recognize any of our songs that were downloaded onto our phones from Apple Music even though we gave it permission to view them. Please fix these features, ESPECIALLY the screen size issues on the iPhones with the notch design!

The light I have work great, no problems with them, but on EhomeLight the music feature didn’t take any of the songs I downloaded with my Apple Music subscription it only took songs I bought and even then it didn’t have all of them, also the mic feature doesn’t work, I have put my phone’s mic directly to my AirPods speaker and put one AirPod to the others speaker with it playing and the mic at 100 percent and it still doesn’t, that’s really the reason I bought the lights and I looked at the help section and it said there was a setting in the top left and on my iPhone XR it doesn't have that setting, it might be a sizing issue or something but my doesn't have it all in all pretty dissatisfied with the mic and music function but the other functions work pretty well

This year for Xmas I received these as a gift from my mom, and I LOVE them! I am not sure where she got them so I am just writing a review here! But if you are looking to buy these then I think that you should! The colors that you can make are endless! Although, in EhomeLight when you try to play music with the lights, they do not really match the music but that is ok for me because I would not play music with them anyways! It is still a very cool feature that comes with the lights! Overall this is a very good brand of LED lights and I would give them 4 and a half out of 5 stars! I do think that they could fix the music problem!

The lights are good for their price, and better than the alternative I was looking at before because I can use my phone for them. The music and microphone parts are a little odd and don’t seem to have a particular theme with them; it just seems like they’re flashing randomly, but that’s not really what I need/use them for anyway. The only issue I have with EhomeLight is that part of the bottom is cut off by the tabs. I can still use it, but I can’t fully see everything that is available because I can’t scroll all the way down. Otherwise EhomeLight works just fine and I’m happy I got it and the lights.

I was actually pretty impressed with the product and how easy they were to set up. The colors are super bright and EhomeLight is super easy to use. The reason I gave this 3 stars is because of the music function. I was kind of disappointed that I couldn’t use the music app that I have and connect it to EhomeLight . There aren’t any good music choices and the light barley go along with the music. I’m hoping this gets updated to at least have a feature to where I can get my own music. Other than that for the first set of LED lights that I’ve ever gotten I’m happy with them

These led lights work great the lighting is good you can dim it and brighten it but I think I messed it up cause I was looking around in EhomeLight and changed the pin sequence and now it’s all weird so if you get EhomeLight just don’t change the pin sequence cause it messes things up if anyone could help me that would be nice I’m also confused on how the remote works cause whenever I hit a color it goes to a completely different color but then again it’s cause I did something to the pin sequence, but before I did something to the pin sequence it worked fine

App very slow, doesn’t work very well at all. Colors nice, but no way to leave preset colors in app after clearing app. Ex, if I want hot pink to always be in preset bar I could just click it and it will always be there, there’s no way to change presets to keep them to stay there. The sliding brightness/dim bar in correspondent for light movement correlation is slow. When using color wheel the color change is very slow and delayed, so sometimes difficult to play around with certain precise colors such as feel, turquoise, hot pink, lavender, orange etc, so it is sometimes difficult to get more specific color with slow changing color changes.

I downloaded EhomeLight and got my lights. But then I realize I never gave it microphone access and it’s listening to me as I speak. Even if I shut down EhomeLight and turn off my phone it’s still listening to me. I’m honestly worried about this feature because when you go to settings it never says there is anything about giving it permission to listen to you. I wouldn’t recommended this. Honestly I like the lights they are pretty good but I’m just very creeped out by this.

They have a wide assortment of colors on EhomeLight and the schedule feature works perfectly. The music is a little weird but I wasn’t planning on using that feature anyway. The dimmer is kind of laggy. It takes a little bit for it to catch up. The orange and yellow colors are a little bit off. For example the yellow looks more like a lighter/lime green color. The orange looks more of a yellow/gold color. Overall not many problems with EhomeLight or the lights and it does what I wanted it to do.

I just bought these lights yesterday and they work perfectly I have no issues with them what so ever even when leaving them on all through the night! The only reason why I’m giving EhomeLight one star is because it doesn’t connect to my lights at all! The mic feature, color changer, dimming and everything else works great it’s just EhomeLight . I turned my Bluetooth on to connect to the lights, it connected but it nothing was happening so I just chose to delete EhomeLight and stick with the remote. So if you want to buy these lights please do so because they work great for me. But I wouldn’t recommended EhomeLight.🙂

I was super excited to try these out the quality is great the only thing I don’t understand is why have the music option if you can’t use other music apps with it and not a lot of people would like to listen to these songs they would much rather listen to there playlists. The lights are great the mic works it’s just the music I feel you should be able to play your on music I was disappointed when I found out that we can’t sync them.

EhomeLight was great for the time I had it, but recently the schedule stopped on its own, my bluetooth is always on and the lights are always plugged in. I recently did a test to see if the schedule would turn off again after ofrece closing EhomeLight . And it did just that. The schedule stopped syncing and my lights are connected. I can still turn the lights on and off with EhomeLight . But other than that the schedule will not work.

I’ll make this short and quick because it’s really disappointing that the music connection feature doesn’t work properly. Even though I have Apple Music, and my songs show up on the playlist it doesn’t allow me to play my songs. It doesn’t make sense as to why I can play the free songs EhomeLight comes with but cannot connect my own music. Please fix this issue because it’s very annoying. Other than that the lights work just fine, all though the colors yellow and orange look more like lime green.

I’ve read the other reviews and I know they are not great, but for me EhomeLight works. I had no set-up with the programming the lights, they worked with EhomeLight as soon as I opened it. Now the only problem I have with EhomeLight is that when you want to listen to music and have the lights react, the react the same to each song, no matter if it’s fast or slow they do the same thing. I would have really liked it to react differently to the songs.

I am have some bluetooth problems. I do not have the option to connect to my led lights from my iphone. On my old phone the connection to bluetooth was perfect and i used EhomeLight everyday but when i switched phones it wouldn’t connect. please let me know if there is any solution to this. Thank you

I love the lights and the easiness of EhomeLight . Unfortunately, the whole “play your own music and the lights will flicker to the beat” doesnt happen. The only music that works with it is the weird songs off EhomeLight . I’m very disappointed I can’t play music off my own device and get the same results as their songs. Hopefully they can fix that further on because it’s so unclear and absent really. On the bright side, the lights are fantastic and the color options off EhomeLight are fun!

My lights were working great for the almost two years I had them, and the lights themselves are still working alright, though the white seems to have dulled over time. HOWEVER, EhomeLight completely stopped working for me last summer and I haven’t been able to get them to work since :(

I know leaving a review is probably pointless since EhomeLight hasn’t been updated in 2 years, BUT if a developer does happen to see this please please PLEASE fix this bug, I’d like to be able to use my custom colors again :(

EhomeLight works great, it does everything I want it to do. The only problem I have with it is that the music function is trash, but you can get around that by playing music into the microphone which works great. I wish you could have multiple times in which you could turn on or off your lights. Other than that it’s a great app.

Okay so EhomeLight is pretty good but the music feature is a literal joke. Like it’s just like 10 songs that I’ve never heard of and they have terrible quality. I thought I could play my music. I use sound cloud and there’s no way getting any of my songs from there to EhomeLight . And again I have no idea what the songs that came pre loaded in to EhomeLight even are, so if you came for that feature it’s a bust

I paid extra for these lights due to my belief they would have these two distinct features. They are a complete rip off, microphone button is legit just a page and the music feature I wouldn’t call a feature at all if you’re using presets for some random Christmas song. Two stars because of the actual functionality of EhomeLight with everything else. It does its job but lying to sell is something I’m annoyed with.

To be honest I have found some trouble that most of these reviews is saying but all y’all gotta do is close EhomeLight & open again 💯 either that or disconnect & re connect again, thennn close & open. It worked for me just needs more style to be honest. Definitely more style.

It’s easy to adjust the light and connect my phone, but I can’t see the whole screen and I can’t use the mic feature because I can’t change the sensitivity. Also... my lights keep turning on at some point at night for some reason even though I turned off the schedule thing??? Idk if that’s just me but please fix the screen?

I did expect more for the price, but they function well with just the remote. The issue with the lights is EhomeLight. The microphone will register a cough but not nearby music playing, and i have to delete and reinstall EhomeLight every time i want my first and second strips to go on/off and change color together through EhomeLight .

I bought these and I wasn’t expecting much but they actually worked very well but the down fall was the music but I found out I can just hit microphone and play my music and it works

Really the only feature that works and works well is the color wheel. The music feature doesn’t work at all. You can change some custom presets, but when you exit out of EhomeLight it resets... my biggest recommendation is to make it so the custom presets actually stay.

Overall, I like EhomeLight and the lights a lot however, I’m really struggling with pairing my music. I don’t know how to access my music through EhomeLight and play my music/sync my music with my lights. Someone please help!!

If I connect to the lights it will say that they are connected but as soon as I try and switch the light it won’t switch and acts like it’s not connected and it’s annoying because I have to delete app then re-download it just so it will work every time I want to use it

The only bad thing about EhomeLight is the music part but aside that it is pretty good, I have the iPhone XR and all the features work well on it so i like it and recommend it

Overall pretty good app , I would only like to be able to play my own music through EhomeLight along with the lights flashing
