I researched Cheapflights, and thought I would try it out. Found a great price on the ticket. The kicker was you don’t actually buy the ticket through Cheapflights, it diverted my purchase to a different service called Mytrip. I saw a confirmation on my purchase for about 2 seconds then the screen switched back to Jetradar. I did not receive a confirmation nor a receipt email. I need the receipt for reimbursement as this is business travel. I wound up calling Mytrip’s customer service number, which was an international call, and was placed on hold two separate calls totaling an hour and a half. Very difficult to actually speak with someone. The finally picked up the phone and I was sent my confirmation, but was told to sign into Mytrip’s system to get a copy of the receipt.

Well, their system doesn’t recognize me as a customer so, I can’t sign in and get the receipt, I’ve been attempting to rectify this for two weeks now through email. They respond to your inquiry that it takes a week and a half for them respond. A week and a half goes by and they send a follow up that they need more time. Their response to inquiry, “I’m not able to sign into your system and get a receipt was”: “just sign in and follow these steps...” I guess I will be waiting another two weeks for them to hopefully realize that they didn’t address my issue. Or maybe, I’ll sign up for an international calling plan so I can sit on hold for an hour and a half again to get this resolved.

Cheapflights sends you to Cheapflightsfreaks. I had the worst experience with this company and don’t recommend anyone to use this company unless you are 110% sure you are traveling. This 110% also includes if the world 🌎 is going to end because they will not refund your money and if they do they will keep a large amount of it. I bought a round trip flight ✈️ while the pandemic 😷 was low. Once the cases started going up all around the world the airlines made changes to the schedule flights and according to the airlines rules the changes were considered major changes and gives me the option to cancel with a full refund. so I decided to cancel the flight and obtain a full refund because of the major changes and since I was traveling with my family and the Covid were going up worldwide. I contacted this company since I bought the tickets with them and explained the situation. After a long time on the phone and many calls I finally got a partial refund. They kept over $700 dollars for no reason even though the airlines issue a full refund since they made the changes. They make you agree to their terms if you want the partial refund. Worst customer service and company I dealt with. Is better to go with the airlines. Stay away 👎

It is a travel search engine. I can’t believe all the reviews from people saying Cheapflights/site scammed them. They can’t take your money because they don’t sell anything. Just like google doesn’t take your money they connect you to sites that do. If you have an issue, it’s with the travel vendors.

I have used Cheapflights over 30+ times and it has saved me thousands of dollars over past few years.

My only lament is I miss the feature where you could search for cheap flights with open ended destinations. Either way, keep up the good work!

Wow Cheapflights has a lot of potential to beat every app out there. Me and my husband booked our flights and hotel to Thailand it was so easy. We found the best price. I hope the Jetradar reads this feedback. In the future, I would like to see more decimation get entered here. I would like to see Jetradar have there own miles Rewards to keep clients coming back. This is the future when looking for a good flights, hotels and to discover new destinations that you never thought you would go.

You will be tempted at the low price but it’s never the price the website says. You will always get an email saying they couldn’t reserve your flight and to contact them. They will then try and up charge you. I requested a refund and finally got it back a full month later but it was $40 less then what I paid. It’s the worst and customer service gives you the run around. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. Buy from a airline even if it cost a little more. This place will ruin your trip and bring lots of unnecessary stress to what’s supposed to be a nice vacation. I’m a cheapo and tried to get my tickets cheap and ignored all the comments and read the fake ones people wrote rating them high. DONT DO IT

I’m a touring performer and this is by far the most useful app I have. The fare calendar helps me figure out when is a good time to go where and when elsewhere would be better. It links to sites I’ve never come across that have SCREAMING DEALS, yet I never have an issue with. It’s super easy to switch destinations of make a multi-city search. An absolute must if you ever ride a plane.

DO NOT NOT BUY FROM THEM! It’s just a joke . Yes the tickets my might be really cheap but it’s not worth your time and money . I have haded so much trouble with them it’s not even funny . I booked a flight back in November for January and I tried to get it changed so I called customer service and they gave my the whole rap around , that I can cancel my ticket but I would have to pay the cancellation free but I could have any same flight through out the year needless to say I got my ticket change but I checked into my flight to come home I couldn’t get my second bag on luggage on the plain because they mess up my luggage and I had to pay 30 dollars to get my suitcase on the plain. I’m really not impressed .

I got really cheap plane tickets from Cheapflights and everything seemed to be great, until I started getting emails asking for passport information and my Social Security number. A few days later my bank contacted me telling me that someone had been filtering out money from my account after every time I made a purchase. They got away with about $100 before the bank called me and shut my account down. They must have got my card info when I gave it to them to purchase the ticket. Luckily my bank reimburse me for all the stolen money, but some people might not be that lucky. I would avoid Cheapflights even if the plane tickets are super cheap. It's not worth getting your identity stolen.

Scam. You booked with them, pay, and then get an email that asks you to call. You get a respond from another vendor telling you the fare chosen does n longer exist and then they offer another airline at a way hire price. I have reported them to the BBB,government, local police and apple.

Your partners are not trusted agencies and airlines. I was directed to a vendor who is operating outside of the usa and attempted to rob me.

So, I tried to make a reservation at 6 pm on a Wednesday. (The weather was bad.) The page that said do not leave was not “doing” anything so I figured the system was down and got my ticket through another party. I was then charged and given my confirmation number at noon the NEXT day. Sweating because there is clearly a no cancellation policy I called to tell them what happened. They were SO helpful and quick to refund my ticket. Customer service FIVE STARS.

Cheapflights has the best deals due to the number of sources it generates to find you the best deal! Only thing I’d like to see is a car rental category if it ends up coming soon Jetradar will absolutely crush all the other apps and climb up to be the top travel application on the market! Please integrate it into the application for future updates, thanks.

I booked a flight through Cheapflights and they scammed me and took my money, then told me my flight increased by $80 when I went online and booked with another company for a cheaper price. I requested to get a refund and the company instead told me to pay extra and just buy the ticket which I didn’t, they completely ignored my request for a refund and I’m extremely disappointed I didn’t think Cheapflights would allow scamming businesses to work through it. I’m deleting Cheapflights completely. Do not download!! I’m also reporting Cheapflights to Apple

They’ll quickly sell you airfare that looks to be at a great price, however their discount vendors can’t always get the tickets they are supposedly selling. They’ll sit on your money and eventually cancel on you.

In response to the developers comments, I attempted to purchase airfare from a second vendor of theirs, again I was charged and cancelled because their vendor could not acquire the airfare they are selling. Jet Radar deals with vendors who sell airfare before they acquire it. I highly recommend going to a different place. These guys are a scam

I went online to purchase tickets to Atlanta the price stated it was $105 So I purchased the ticket and waited for my email confirmation which I received an hour later stating my purchase was refunded because the price I paid was unavailable by the airline and would have to pay more money. So I went back and forth with their customer service rep stating those prices shouldn’t be advertised if they’re not available and hung up. I would never use this site again and will let everyone know this site is a scam. So now my bday trip is ruined thanks

I don’t understand the bad reviews saying that Cheapflights is a scam. I’ve used it more than 5 times to purchase tickets, and it has always been great with the cheapest prices in the market! Overall a great app to use for cheap flights and easy to use. Have never had any problems with stolen identities or third parties purchases.

Ignore the positive reviews, they’re fake. It’s astroturfing.

The developer Aviasales does not accept responsibility for the unethical business practices of their partners, claiming to only be a search engine. However, despite this they still act in bad faith as they continue to allow their users to be taken by bait and switch practices.

What everyone else has already stated is absolutely true, they get you with a low price, and then when you “purchase” said ticket it’s not actually a “purchase” at all, it’s a “reservation” in which they will tell you that the ticket prices have suddenly jumped $100+.

I will be filing a complaint with Visa and JP Morgan Chase against both this developer and the service I got my tickets from. And will see how that goes before I escalate my grievance further.

Ok I’ve been using Cheapflights for 3 years now. If you need an app that gathers info from multiple airlines so you can get the best price, period, this is the one. No issues or whatsoever. Very straightforward and neat UI. 10/10 would recommend.

This is super sketchy (Chinese?) app that sends you to obscure travel agency sites that have the same prices as buying direct from the airlines. I tried to make one such purchase, my card was “declined” and yet the next day there is the charge—and from a Chinese booking service that tried really hard to look Western. I am sure now my card is compromised and my phone probably full of malware. There is really no reason to use Cheapflights instead of a more reliable one like Kayak. And shame on Apple for facilitating yet another Chinese scam app!

I got Cheapflights because my husband and son want to visit family in Mexico. Didn’t read reviews hope it wasn’t a mistake. Bought tickets at a good price but, now I read the reviews I’m scared we will get scam. We saved each penny to visit family. Hope the reviews aren’t real because I’m here not able to sleeping thinking of our money. When ever I get more info will update my review. 😢😣

None of the prices actually match. I tried using Cheapflights a few months ago and almost got scammed out of my money because it will tell you your price should be around $200 but then when you go to buy the ticket they want to charge you almost $400 plus taxes and baggage fees. So you’ll end up paying $500 for your “$200” ticket.
I figured after a few months and saw the update maybe it would be fixed but it’s not.
Don’t let this company scam you. Waste of my time. I will trash this company to everyone I know.

Needs to be updated for the iPhone X screen though. At least it’s not at the time of me writing this. Really if you mess up it’s down to your own fault. That’s why you double check everything you put in, it’s not hard to mess up and pay big. I know..

i tried to purchase from Cheapflights , i searched for a ticket to vietnam and it show me the price for 816$ then Cheapflights took me to a website called justairticket to filled up my information and payment , after that i had to wait for that website to call me , and a guy named James Smith works for justairticket called me and said the price for 816$ is not available anymore and they have ticket but much higher price that the actual actually showed on Cheapflights , and they charge me $915 on my bank account and no refund yet. dont download Cheapflights or purchase from it.

Great app to look up last minute flights and all the different airlines. Just have to look at all the details of the flights And which airlines are use for each flight especially international
