  Reliable and bright

  I’ve had the app installed for several years and it’s never failed me. More than bright enough to find keys you dropped at night or light your way to the door. Great for finding things that find their way under a car seat or furniture...including a skittish new cat, which I couldn’t find for more than a week before remembering this great light. Better than any mini light I’ve used, ever. I do think it’s a battery hog, but that’s easily addressed by remembering to close the app after use.

  Brightest and user friendly

  I have using the Apple built-in but swiping to bring up flashlight is hit or miss. So I tried two other apps. But they are burdened by extra fancy features such that when I needed a light, I fumbled through features I never need. So frustrating. This app is the real deal. Smartly designed, super handy. Yes the brightest. The slide bar to vary the intensity could be improved by making it longer but this is minor. Perfect and FREE. elegant design and user friendly.

  Dumb

  Yes I rated 5 stars because the app does what it's supposed to. But I find the concept of Flashlight apps dumb. Let me explain: every iOS device has control center. You access it by swiping up at the bottom of the screen. It lets you go to 3 apps, enable the flash of your device, turn airplane mode, wifi, Bluetooth, do not disturb, lock rotation, night shift (iOS 9.3 and up), enable airplay and airdrop and adjust brightness and volume. TL:DR, swipe up from bottom, tap Flashlight icon, profit.

  Very good just as described

  I have been using this app ever since it first came out from my first iPod Touch to first smart iPhone. It works exactly as intended, lites up what I need & has developed different light settings through time which is very convenient. I am super grateful to developer for keeping the app updated through time. Hope developer can come up with new good apps frequently used as handy tools. Good job, I have only used this app and non other!

  Great!

  This is a great tool, now some people are saying in reviews, "We already have a flashlight in the control center!" Well yes, you do if you use iOS. However, this app allows flashing lights (Yay also a free seizure test app!) and a brighter flashlight than what the control center gives. And, a lot more easy to access, and use! Great app, 10/10. And it's free (which I wouldn't get if you had to pay 😐) and incredibly fast download and usage size! Great app! 👌🏻

  Works Well

  Downloaded the flashlight app because as a auto mechanic. Can never have too many flashlights. Unfortunately for me, my father had taken the flashlight that was working when I needed it. So I figured why not download a flashlight app so I always have a flashlight on me. Works very well for work/everyday use. Only downside is it can really use up your battery life on the phone.

  Simple is good.

  It's just an on/off button. Ok you can access the flashlight from swiping up and selecting flashlight. But have you ever had your phone unable to turn off flashlight? My well used iPhone with all the latest updates sometimes needs rebooting. If you haven't had time to reboot for a while, let you turn the flashlight off.

  Great ap!

  First, it’s free. What’s better than free? Second, it’s a flashlight ap. Third, it works great. Ding-ding-ding!!! Give this creator a gold star. In the year I’ve had this ap, it’s cut off with no warning two times. Other than than, no glitches. I’ve updated when asked to and it requires only a small amount of memory. Multi levels of briteness as well as strobe lighting. Kudos. Highly recommend.

  Love It !

  This app has been my go to flashlight app for years. I love it! By the way...if you want to give this app a five star rating, be sure to click on the 5th star. This will light up the 5th star and all the stars before it. This is the same for every star above one star. As soon as you touch a star, it automatically submits the survey. I had to learn this the hard way. smh

  Ads turn off the flashlight... not cool

  I used to love this app — it’s helped me out when I really needed a task light. As a flashlight on my iPhone, it’s bright and awesome... for a while. Now the ads pop up after some time and these turn off the flashlight. You have to return to the screen and figure out how to get the flashlight back on / not cool when you’re in the middle of fixing a leaky pipe stretched out on your back. I have no problem with ads, but leave the light on!

  Great app

  This was one of my first app downloads when I got my iPhone years ago. It has come in so handy as I live in the country and many times if I have to go out at night to do something I can just grab my phone and run out. Without any street lights it's really dark where I live. Use it a lot to navigate between my car and home.

  Brighter than the iPhone flashlight utility

  When the iPhone got a built-in flashlight, some people quit using flashlight apps, but I have used this one for years because it’s reliable and has a low and hi setting which makes it more useful than the standard flashlight utility which has one low setting.

  How to turn off advertising first

  Go into settings, choose this app, and disable its access to your wireless data. Otherwise, it'll automatically open the App Store for things you never clicked on. Plus, why would a flashlight need updates or internet connection anyway?

  Not complicated

  It is basically just a dimmable flashlight. It does have an option to flash but it does not get in the way. You might ask, why would you want a dimable flash light? When you turn it on to find your way to the bathroom at AM you will remember.

  Unpredictable & unreliable

  I’ve had this app for years and haven’t updated it in a long time, yet suddenly it started popping up ads even when I haven’t accidentally touched the ad banner. This is a major annoyance at best, and outright dangerous at worst! I don’t know how it happened, but it is a downright awful decision by the developers and shows immensely poor judgment on their part. If not for it now being so unpredictable and unreliable, I would have said it was a great app.
