FlyEx - The Best Flight Deals Reviews

If I could give FlyEx negative stars I would. If you see other reviews complaining about the customer service they’re right. They never reply or answer the phone. Every time I’ve gotten in contact through email they say one thing but never resolve the problem. I called twice and got someone both times but when I explained my problem they acted dumb and hung up.

They give you credits toward your flights to make them “cheaper” but when they book your flights they don’t actually apply the credit and you end up paying full price anyway. Good luck getting customer service to refund your money for what was already suppose to be taken off with a credit.

FlyEx is a good idea but unless you have zero questions or problems FlyEx and company are trash. Spend a little more money and use google flights or some other well known company that will help you.

I have been using FlyEx since a while. The idea is good and I often find cheaper price. However I have to find them on other websites and then again on their app. the research tools are limited and not user friendly. My main concern is the customer service. The almost never answer and the only time they did they were not able to do it. Further after over an year I still didn’t get commissions. i was told a manager would called me. Never happened. This is a shape because they could have much more traffic and people but they don’t seems to care about they current clients ether which they totally ignore! use it only if you can manage to figure out details by your self and make sure to don’t make mistakes because they reimburse you.

I have made 7 international bookings and a smaller number of domestic bookings in 2019. I looked at aggregators (momondo, Kayak etc.), and I have looked at OTAs (Expedia down to CheapoAir and ExploreTrip). I think some of those sites have better search experiences than the this app app, but none came close on pricing: 10/10 on international travel, and I would say 8/10 on domestic pricing. My recommendation would be to look into this app pricing before buying any air travel; I saved 10s of dollars in a couple and 100s of dollars in a couple (400 something per ticket in one case if I remember correctly)!

I actually like FlyEx . I find pretty awesome prices for my trips. However I have noticed that my flight times have changed. Not sure why but I’m so glad I check like a week before to make sure the time for departure is still the same as I bought it but only the going home flight was different. So yea. System needs to update or atleast send me a notification or update telling me that the flights had changed.

I am horrified at the lack of professionalism and response that I have reviewed after weeks and weeks of emails and calls. I always wait on hold for 10 minutes and then am directed to voicemail. I’m this pandemic will not allow for the travel I have booked with them and there is no way to get ahold of them and correct it. I called the airlines and they got back to me within 30 minutes of my call. Yet they can do nothing for me it must be through FlyEx.

I’d you would like any response or customer service at all use a different app/company.

The concept and idea of FlyEx is definitely a good one. However the execution is horrible in the fact that you can’t even use it. You can’t change the travelers from FlyEx , and anytime you try to search for an airport it just gives you a blank screen until you hit back it then starts to load. But at that point it’s too late because you’re already going back to the home screen.
Unfortunately there are way too many bugs in the coding for this to be deemed a good app.

I did find a good price on a ticket I purchase for my mom and. Then she went to the airport and was not allowed to take plain even that she had negative COVID test the issue is that you can’t travel thru shengen area which was. From Kosovo to Austria Vienna. And to New York That is why they didn’t let her flight
When I call Austrian airlines they say the agency has to contact us so we can figured it something out.
This girl her name is Tina from this app I’m not sure if she means to lie to me or Meybe she is pushed to lie but the bottom of it I’m not getting no answer. And I’m gonna file for complaint and I’m sure I will get refund or credit from Austrian airline

I highly recommend not to use FlyEx from what I’m experiencing I don’t think this people want to help they’re costumers and that changes I’m sure I would gladly report that in here

I bought tickets months ago, but since to the travel ban because of the coronavirus I will not be using them. when I heard the news I immediately contacted them to change the date. I first contacted them March 11, it is now the 15. I just need to move the date. I have contacted them in every way possible but they won’t answer. I would not use them again. It’s almost like they have zero customer service. prices might be cheap but looking back it’s not worth it!!! I do not recommend using FlyEx to anyone!!!

I purchased a ticket with their app. Price was good but when I needed to get a hold of them for a ticket modification they never answered my numerous calls and chat messages. I got stuck at an airport as a result of that!!! DO NOT USE THAT APP!!

The airline I was supposed to fly with said that this app was the only one available to modify my ticket.
Problem is that it’s impossible to get a hold of them. Tried to contact them 10-15 times from Europe. Since they never answered, I ended up buying a new ticket to fly home. They better give me my money back!
BOTTOM LINE= DONT USE THEM!

I did a search and after waiting several seconds it just came back to the page to enter your flight details without showing any results. It felt like FlyEx wasn’t connected to the flight data. It happened several times and I was never able to get any results.

Plus the searching page had the title displayed that was not shown entirely because of the notch in the XS Max. FlyEx lists that it has hotels in FlyEx description on the iTunes Store but it doesn’t have any hotels.

I decided to try this out after reading some good reviews. I had seen the bad ones too, but chalked it up to a few one off things. Nope. They were ALL RIGHT. Additionally, when I went back and looked at the GOOD reviews, it became painfully obvious they were employees or paid reviews. The words and phrases they used are known in the industry, but not by an average consumer. Don’t be fooled. These guys don’t have it together and I’m not sure they ever will.

I've used FlyEx a couple of times and yes have gotten the best price at the time for a couple of flights. BUT, I feel like they rarely update FlyEx or flights. For the last three days I have tried booking a flight on their app and everyday, multiple times have gotten an error message. I didn't know what was going on so I called once and they told me the flight was available but I had to book through FlyEx and not on the phone with them???? Ok, whatever. So then I kept trying and getting the same error message. I got fed up and tried the same search again the next day, the same flights came up and the one I wanted was still listed on FlyEx . Tried booking it again, error message. I called again and I was told that the flight hasn't been available for awhile now. So why is it still coming up in the search if it not available, THREE days later. Why are they offering flights that you don't have availability for? It just doesn't make sense.

I’ve used this a few times... the price I find with FlyEx is always slightly lower than flights search engines show. I usually ask my aviator to try to find something lower and he has been able to do it without fail.

I am booking a flight from Newark,NJ to Aruba and found a great price on another web site( Priceline) . I took pic of the price like they asked and they came in just a little higher then there competitors(Priceline). I told them they where still not beating the price witch I sent pic of to them and they continued to tell me I was wrong and there price was cheaper even though I clearly showed them they where not.... after arguing with them thru text for 45 min I erased FlyEx if I could give them no stars I would

I booked two flights both at the same time. My card was charged but I was never sent an email confirmation of the flight. When I called three times. One representative hung up on me because I asked her to repeat herself due to the language barrier, the second representative very rude and wasn’t helpful, the third representative was fairly nice. They charged my card but when I called the flight was cancelled and I never received confirmation of that.

There are always problems with FlyEx . I called the 24 hour line and no response. I left messages. I’ve gone to chat support and I have not received a response. This is a scam. They are sneaky in the way they sell tickets. They will sell you a different date and not make it obvious that it’s cheaper bc it’s a different day. Then one flight was cancelled and then it says it was rebooked. I can’t get confirmation from anyone on FlyEx. Do t waste your money. This start up company is trash!!!!!

Very disappointed, after booking, received email that my booking was in process but never received a confirmation. Called after a few hours of reservation made but no luck, after several attempts I finally spoke to an agent but advise me will call me back in no later than 15 minutes but never got a call back, 2 days later received an email that my booking was cancelled due to miscommunication with the airlines! Totally not worth taking a chance of loosing your trip!

So here’s the good, we found a fare that was 50% less than any other fare. I’m a seasoned global traveler and I know how to find fares.

Here’s the bad, they have zero customer service. They do not answer chat, email, the phone, or Facebook messages. Our flight was canceled. The airline rebooked us on a different flight with an extra stop but didn’t issue the ticket. We called the airline and they said we need to call our travel agent. Good luck. Use FlyEx at your own risk....

After choosing and confirming my flight, and entering my billing information, I later received a call from this app confirming my reservation. Apparently they attempted to charge my credit card, but since I entered the card number in error, the charge was declined. Totally understandable... but NO ONE called or emailed me to let me know of this situation so that I could help resolve, and instead CANCELLED my reservation, again with NO email confirmation of having done so. Customer service is HORRENDOUS!! DO NOT USE FlyEx!!!!!!!

I got referred to using FlyEx and signed up. After creating an account I got an email stating that my account is being “reviewed” and that it’ll take 24 hours to complete. It’s been a couple of days and still nothing. I tried signing in and my account was deactivated? Emailed the customer support email and no response. Useless app, wasted my time. If I can give 0 stars I would.

Uninstalled because it keeps bugging you to create a new account. Prices similar to Google flights. Not sure what these guys are trying to achieve. Their UI is so bad 👎

Had no issues with FlyEx at all and have actually booked through it before. I found a flight that was almost $100 cheaper than their cheapest one. Customer service in the “beat zone” was very fast and attentive until I supplied them with all the stuff they needed for the cheaper flight. I was completely ignored and haven’t got a response. I even sent it to my aviator who ignored me as well. Will probably uninstall app.

I saw an ad for FlyEx & figured I’d check it out. They wanted to charge me $4700 for a RT flight from Miami to LA, first class. However, Americans website I can book directly with the airline for under $900. Same dates, same exact flight.

That is unreal & I wouldn’t give a single dollar to this place. Download the airline app for a better deal.

Got substantially cheap rates to india. Excellent customer service. Surprised how cheap they were comparing to any of the online providers.

Loops over and over in registration almost to not allow one to get a discount . Because you can only get the discount at sign in.

No response from support or aviator. FlyEx is dead! Beware folks, don’t use, it’s a waste of time!
