Latest version is garbage

It’s always been a little glitchy, but workable. Latest version (several weeks ago) is now consistently crashing. Every time I look up a sold customer, it tells me “Something went wrong. The data couldn’t be read” and then crashes completely back to home screen. There’s no one maintaining CRM anymore…

Frustrating and full of bugs

One of the worst user experiences. CRM is full of random bugs and glitches and is difficult to navigate and use. Keep getting error messages when I try to view opportunities and send emails- then when I try to copy and paste an email there’s a glitch that prevents me from doing so, making me discard the long message I just wrote and retype it all over again. I really hate using CRM. Unfortunately there’s no alternative if you’re using Dealersocket and the developers know they have a captive audience- hence no incentive to improve it.

It’s 2021. You didn’t think about landscape mode?

I don’t know who you guys are paying to develop your app but the fact that its not even landscape mode accessible is completely unacceptable. Those of us who work off iPads have to choose between using our keyboard and receiving a neck injury or removing the keyboards and being unable to see 60% of our screens. Please get it together.

WAS A BETTER APP BEFORE THEY MADE CHANGES

So with the changes they’ve recently made in the last year or so, CRM has become extremely hard to work with. It only tracks about 75% of your calls, they made it extremely hard to add notes to prospects you just called and there’s a ton of bugs they still haven’t worked out. Looking at some of the changes they’ve made to CRM , it’s almost like they don’t have a clue on how to keep track of dealer prospects. Very disappointed…

DESPISE is a strong word-but necessary for this app

It makes ZERO sense that a sales person can’t access their sold units. One can see how many they sold, but forget trying to see the actual customer’s name and profile on the Reporting page under SOLD UNITS!

It takes 2 to 3 extra steps to access the most basic information in CRM (if you are actually able to access it).

Just why…..WHY take basic user functions and make it into an “Escape Room” type experience.

Not the best update not as practical and easy as older version

I wish they would of left the other alone, this new app is so confusing when you click on the notifications it opens up a email page that has nothing to do with the customer your on. Not user friendly very slow also one you try to complete a entity I timed it and it took 1.45min for the screen to go back to continue working… just bring the old app back please!!!!!!!

Photos and Videos not working

I really hoped this would be an improvement over the old app. The VIN scan feature works really well for trades. But there is no place to scan a driver’s license into an existing customer account. And although it looks like I can upload photos and videos, they are not working. My customers are not receiving important emails and texts. I am forced to text directly from my personal iPhone.

Drivers license scanner

Our dealership has been using Dealersocket as our this app system for many years. The older app I preferred because I never had trouble scanning the drivers license. With the new app, I always get an error when trying to scan and it never goes through. What could be the issue here? I’ve deleted CRM and installed it again but it is still not scanning. My software is updated as well. Idk what else to do. It doesn’t work for me but it works for my other coworkers.

New App is nice but missing key features

Love the interface of the new app. Certain task have become easier but accessing important information on the go has become more difficult. Would like to be able to see customers who have visited or went through other sales steps not just a number. The tabs that do claim to show customer information always end up empty. Checking on other employees work is also more difficult with the new app.

This app has constant issues…

Can never seem to scan a driver’s license, and when I complete a lead it by sending an email, it constantly buffers. Even after the latest update, i was able to scan a drivers license for two days straight and since then never worked again.

Access overseas

Can you his turn on the option for CRM to be available in areas like Pakistan or the Philippines. My overseas workers get a message saying it’s not available in their region.

Emails

Sending emails and templates can be super difficult from the mobile app. I try to use landscape mode to get a wider format hoping that helps but landscape mode seems not to be an option 🤷‍♂️. Hope that issue can get resolved soon as this has been an ongoing issue.

Deal Number?

I love everything about CRM except the deal number does not show. Maybe it’s just me being technologically challenged but it’s no where to be found.

Love it but needs a small fix

Honestly it makes everything really easy to follow up with customers and keeping tabs on everyday duty’s. I prefer this over the system we had before.

Small fixes:

On iPhone when sending an email, you can’t type or read while holding your phone the normal way on longer emails without having to slide your screen over. There should be a way to flip your phone horizontally to have a better view of typing/reading or needing to screen shot the convo.

Adding customers jointly. There should be a way to easily when upping customer’s to add both to the same profile so there isn’t any confusion if next time the wife or husband decide to come in alone and I only have the husbands info while my co-worker gets the wife’s info.

All in all I like CRM but just needs a little more work.

Guys, this is a beautiful app. After struggling with the Sales app for so long this is a much needed improvement! Can’t tell you how pumped the guys in our dealership are to finally find CRM. It flows well, it’s intuitive and feels like the desktop but on the go! Well done

I can’t say enough good things about CRM! Easiest way to manage my customers daily and sell more cars! Tons of information, easily accessible, and everything is placed well within. If I could rate it higher than five stars, I would!!

Love all of the continued innovation, but I would love to see a few improvements such as more data on the Inventory pages (currently as MPG, but other stuff like Towing Capacity, Factory/PIO/DIO Packages, etc. would be AWESOME… similar to a webpage VDP) and auto-sense and capturing the front of the license just like it auto-captures the Barcodes.

Right from logging in, you can tell CRM is a world apart from the older this app mobile app. Easy to use, intuitive; everything I need is right on the homepage or bottom tabs. Two big thumbs up!

Don’t let the smooth taste fool you

CRM may look all shiny and new, but it is beyond SLOW! With less capabilities than the old app.

Did I mention slooooooooooowwwwww! completing any task takes 4 times as long as it did on the old app. I just can’t believe how slow it is. I’m a very active user, and am so disappointed that dealer socket would put out such a bad product.

Way less capability

CRM appears clean and it certainly does look nicer than the old sales app. However, it has considerably less capability than the original sales app. We are paying the same for our dealer socket services while they are slowly removing functionality and features from their products. We operate 4 dealerships in 2 states and their this app is nearly unusable. Even when you call support they will tell you that they know it doesn’t have all of the same features and it most likely won’t moving forward. What a terrible product. Your company should be embarrassed and ashamed for such a terrible product.

Less features, more headache.

I’m not sure why the need to entirely change CRM , but I can’t even read pdf’s on this new app like I could on the old app. That is the bread and butter of the old app for me so without that CRM is basically useless. It’s also more difficult to get to customer information and notes. This is too time consuming in an industry where time is money. Sorry, but CRM isn’t helpful at all.

Convoluted, nonfunctional, crashes

Can’t push trades through CRM , only on desktop. Crashes when editing customer information. Clicking on notifications doesn’t take you to the sales opp, but to main page. Very inefficient all around. Layout for notes and tasks is not easily navigable. But, stuck with it, so am forced to deal with frustration.
