I just bought iPhone 11, iOS 13.0, I can even get into WirelessSGx , always stuck on a security Alert page when I press WirelessSGx icon.

Please fix. Really depend on this to connect to public WiFis at libraries

Can’t even open

“Invalid birth date” - unable to proceed. This is a really poorly developed app.

Ssl expired on march so I renew the profile and unusable now, what’s wrong???

The name says it all, wire-less. Zero connection because can’t even get OTP. Maybe the providers should try WirelessSGx themselves

This network has no problem texting me one-time passwords, but WirelessSGx will not work with a foreign SIM. I’m used to this kind of “screw the foreigners” problem from China, but I expected better from Singapore.

WirelessSGx does not work for me. The first time I open it, it doesn’t send me the OTP. For all subsequent times I can’t get through the set-up page (it just hangs when I press next).

This doesn’t work with a foreign phone. I was hoping to be able to use WiFi, but WirelessSGx doesn’t accept a US phone number even though it looks like it does. I never got a confirmation number. I deleted WirelessSGx

I’m using a foreign phone number and attempting to login manually will NEVER send the one time password (OTP). I’ve tried 10+ times.

Then I thought I could use WirelessSGx instead. But unfortunately WirelessSGx ONLY supports Singaporean phone numbers (the manual login supports also foreign country codes).

I’ve deleted WirelessSGx again.

So all reviews are true, but you have to just trial and error a lot to get it to work and just be very patient. WirelessSGx works at a snails pace probably because your using a Singapore line to cross the USA. I found the last two networks works for US lines.

Guess no one is maintaining WirelessSGx. Tried it with different phones at different times with different accounts and never could get it to work. Latest time I tried is today with ios17. Can’t get on the server to complete registering. Might as well not have WirelessSGx . What a waste of time.

Going to echo other reviews: I was unable to get an SMS confirmation using my foreign (US) phone number. Tried several times, and nothing. Pretty lame, since having WiFi on the MRT would be nice. It would be entirely better if they just used email instead of SMS; non-Singaporeans would be much better off.

App does not work on iOS 17. Unable to provide a profile.

Update: App now works on iOS 17 after update to version 3.0.6

Was Quick and easy setup on singapore sim. Not sure about foreign sim. The overall wireless@sg connection process is quite cumbersome in general. Definitely room for makking it easier for users.

WirelessSGx works fine, all the reviews saying that WirelessSGx won’t start are not true...The only problem is that it’s slow.

I tried using my US number after selecting NO when it asked if it had a SG SIM, and it froze after clicking next after entering my Birthday and number. I went to the store and got a cheap $15 prepaid sim and then selected yes on that screen then it let me through, then i now can use the wifi. this review was written on WiFi@SGx. app interface very slow and kind of crappy tho.
