I usually do not write reviews but I had to for HSBCIndia. The experience from a global bank like HSBC should be top class but HSBCIndia is so complex. The 7 different types of codes - the UX/UI need a major lift, seems it was built in 2015 and never got a facelift. The menu is so annoying. Citibank app is really bad but in comparison it’s so much better than HDFC. Learn from Amex US app. Perfect experience
Poor Web design and not a Customer friendly menu options. Confusion and frustration to the customers. Website and the customer support team quality and service Must be improved.
The HSBC India app is not working for me since last 24 hours and it’s consistently showing “Service Unavailable” after I provide credentials. If the HSBC India Web is working, the iOS app shall work as well. I wonder if there is any monitoring in place to detect those issues but it’s not acceptable from User Perspective.
App used to work on my ios12.x latest version for iPhone 6, till some months ago when it suddenly stopped. App Store says to use iOS 13 or above, which needs a new later model IPhone.
I have many other banking apps that work on ios12. Why should hsbc force me to upgrade my phone?
Hi,
I am existing customer and have Hsbc card and gave try to login to app and register my card so can monitor my card activity but it seems the processing image and display from last 30 minutes and I have to gave up.
Once we do profile —> logoff, it should bring up “You have been logged off” screen. Instead it’s loading login page. I’m using iPhone 6s Plus. My finger print authorisation is loading again and logging in back.
