The most inconsistent app ever to cash checks. Either it works or it won’t.

It is so frustrating to deposit checks. Checks from TD bank are never accepted. Never. I will deposit them elsewhere going forward. Messages state error, or no account number when there is always an account number. Citibank does this far far better

You can do money transfer even to existing beneficiaries ! I spoke to my RM and they said it’s for my account safety. What’s the point of HSBCnet if you cannot transact ?

Have the new iPhone 12 and I cannot access settings to enable biometric sign in. It was enabled on my old iPhone 11

No mobile check deposit. Unable to set up bill pay. What is the point of HSBCnet and why is HSBC so far behind other banks?

Always gives internet error when internet is working fine.

Unless I’m in HSBCnet when I click the mobile authentication button, HSBCnet will crash when I click on the notification.
iPhone 13 pro.

Checking your last transactions, which is very basic , is impossible. After I click on balance amount to see recent transactions, it throws error saying date range provided is outside of limit. I never provided any date range. And there is no option to change date range. Frustrating.

Customer service is non existent as none of the agents have the ability to actually resolve problems they just generate tickets that go to departments customers are not allowed to speak to so nothing gets done in a timely manner if at all

Useless and garbage, all it can do is check the current balance, doesn’t even list recent transactions.
When will there be mobile check deposit available? Really disappointed a big bank like HSBC doesn’t have the basic needs of mobile banking. Do they not have app developers, a child could program a better app than this.

Facial Recognition does not work with iOS15. Hopefully this will fixed soon. It is very inconvenient to carry around a token required for access.

Still need multiple tries to get an acceptable photo of the front of the check. It it too stringent on what it accepted. Plus have tried multiple times to turn on face recognition on my IPhone 13 with no luck .

HSBCnet works fine but it is far slower than similar apps from other banks!

It doesn’t support submit payment in China mainland. Communication often blocked for unknown reasons. But I have very low expectation for HSBC IT department so here is 3 star.

Frequent problems with the check scanner saying the check size is invalid for standard business checks

Please Update HSBCnet so we can use it with iOS 16.

A plus to be able to auto deposit checks now! Not liking the fact that even thought printed checks are clear in pictures taken app still does not recognize if amount printed in middle also but not totally spelled out. Annoying to have to then go to branch to deposit!

The new design is a huge improvement. Thank you HSBC!
