I think anyone who can sit at the comfort of his home and pay for power will be very gladly,skipping long queues and all the other things you can face when using a prepaid account. I think it’s quite sometime since ECGPowerApp came by. So it’s a very very good app but as at now I think it should be able to support all meters. We need an update that all meters can be supported so that the majority of us who uses the the other meters can also enjoy this great service. Pls try and support all other meters. I think it’s a good app but you need to expand your shares so every customer can benefit. Am giving you one star for now. The meter that it supports is just for a few Ghanaians. Once all meters are supported you will get a 5 star from me. Thank you.

ECGPowerApp is just a waste of time.. aside recharging which takes days to reflect, it very useless because it doesn’t even sold basic errors on the meter.. you’d have to go all the way to the office to get assistant on the very basic issues
Example there’s this common error that pops up and doesn’t allow top up from ECGPowerApp or vendor.. to get that fixed you’ll have to go to the office and mention your meter number to them and that’s all
Why can’t we just do that on ECGPowerApp or even call?
Do we have to go to the office all the time?
I’d advise you don’t download ECGPowerApp cuz you’ll still end up at the office for the same things ECGPowerApp is supposed to take care of

There’s an entire section of ECGPowerApp dedicated to giving information to citizens, yet we don’t received any notifications or message/announcement in ECGPowerApp about upcoming outages. Neither can we report outages to too. There are 4 things that can be reported but the biggest reportable issue which are outages aren’t included. Due to high inefficiency of Ghana electricity, announcements or notifications of outages on the mobile up will be greatly appreciated. I mean we add out meters, you know where the meter is, just send notifications to the associated phones that power will be off for a while. I don’t think am asking for much really.

ECG app is very poor to the extend that you have to expect an issue with getting token sometimes when you make a purchase and the work team? They are worse that they can’t do anything to solve it than to wait on another team to solve it. This is very poor that I’m up at 5am and my light is out and I can’t even do any purchase because I tried and my money got locked in the system. They are very poor to the extend that they are fast in taking your payment but very poor in delivering what you have bought. It’s a whole trash app that apple needs to take off ECGPowerApp Store for good. Time wasting for real

I have made several attempts to purchase electricity through ECGPowerApp , but it has failed to update my meter balance and provide the corresponding power supply. Furthermore, when I tried to use a token to recharge my meter manually, it only added debt to my meter without recharging it.

I kindly request your urgent assistance in resolving this matter. I expect the ECG app to accurately reflect the purchased electricity units on my meter balance and remove the accumulated debt caused by the failed token redemptions.

Additionally, I request reimbursement for the debt that has accumulated on my meter due to the unsuccessful token redemptions.

I urge you to investigate the technical issues causing these problems and implement measures to prevent their recurrence in the future.

Attached are copies of the relevant receipts and transaction details as evidence of the failed electricity purchase and token redemptions.

I appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and hope for a swift resolution.

Add my review in your comment sections all I see are 2 and 3yrs comments let the world know how poor ECGPowerApp has been… always challenges anytime I buy prepaid online and the sad thing is you make a report nothing happens you have to call ECG for the approval of your purchase. ECG Don’t make it look like we are enjoying your services I am writing this at 2 a.m. and I’m very upset because I have to sleep without light with my newborn child and wait for ECG to open 8 a.m. before they approve my purchase. Sad my newborn baby is feeling the heat because of ECG…I thought ECG was reliable

ECGPowerApp is only good for top up which doesn’t even give you the correct credit balance. App does not sync.
It shouldn’t matter how many people in the household purchase credit for a specific meter. That meter should sync and reflect the correct credit on anyone who has ECGPowerApp on their device.
ECGPowerApp should automatically reflect credit purchases instead receiving a token and then having to log in token into meter. What is the point in having ECGPowerApp on a mobile device.
ECG fixed ECGPowerApp, it’s seems useless

I can’t lie I like the fact that I can stay at home and pay my prepaid bills without having to go all the way to town and get it paid not to talk about Sundays when no PDS Vendor Stores are opened. One thing that its left for you to fix is the crushes, I see its gone down a bit but some few bugs are still hidden in there, ie; when you open ECGPowerApp and try to open ‘meters’ you immediately get kicked out and you have to re-login again, secondly under the ‘View detailed usage data’ section you can't access the monthly and yearly panels, once again ECGPowerApp shutdown immediately if you should select either ‘monthly’ or ‘yearly’. If we can't access those panels why are they up there? You guys need to fix that.

Im giving you 3stars if you fix those two errors I’ll change my rating to a better one.

ECGPowerApp is good with regards to being at home and purchasing credit online thereby preventing long queues and wasting time at vendors but please kindly fix the bugs..it automatically kicks you out after logging in several times..I purchased credit from ECGPowerApp and I’m trying to get access to the token number but it keeps logging me out up till now…please fix it!!

ECGPowerApp is a vast improvement on the old one, but it doesn’t appear to import previous transaction and usage information. Secondly there should be a way to just scan your GH Card details unto the platform without having to key in your number.

Hi EGC Ghana, I’m loving the improvements on the interface, customer service and the likes; keep it up; I have a suggestion to make, I believe it would be nice to have a feature where you can check prepaid balance directly from within ECGPowerApp rather than having to go to the meter.

ECG Power App,is a handy app for managing prepaid electricity purchases and Newsfeeds of which is good. However, it doesn’t automatically track meter balance. Users must manually check the balance on the remote loader . Secondly there’s threshold or User set target for timely recharge notification features,which I believe it’ll be helpful for reminders. Honestly, real-time balance syncing would make it more efficient. A good tool, but could be improved with automation.

I spent the night with my family with no power as a result of ECGPowerApp not receiving/recognizing my payments. It keep saying recent complaint is being attended to when I try to report. Fix your payment system ECG. ECGPowerApp is a mess

ECGPowerApp is going through a whole lot of traumatic brain injury..When I try logging in it brings me back to the main page saying session time out..I want to purchase before my lights goes off…Please work on that Thank you

Why does ECGPowerApp keep saying session time out after wanting to log in to buy prepaid??

App is very effective, bravooo
But we'll be more happy to be getting prompt or notification when our credit is running down, let's say 5 ghc to finishing we should be getting an alert.

It’s been almost 2 weeks that I have been trying to buy my prepaid using ECGPowerApp but they are saying my meter is offline but it’s working

ECGPowerApp is a great initiative. To think that I can be in any part of the world and still buy power to keep my light on is amazing. We encourage the managers to keep working hard to make it even better.
