This App Doesn’t Work!!!
This app doesn’t work on an iPhone X. I cannot proceed with even signing in, because the screen does not work on my phone, and there’s nothing wrong with my phone...This app isn’t/wasn’t well thought out. Fresh EBT is 100x better. This app is sterile. It’s like something out of the Soviet era...if we had had apps and internet back then. It’s a pathetic excuse for an app. The App Store should remove any app that doesn’t have at least a 3 star rating, and this one doesn’t. They make everything more difficult than it needs to be, and I’m never going to be able to get beyond it being sterile. If that’s not enough, then having to sign in every time you want to check your balance, should be enough. They’ve made this much more difficult than it ever needed to be.

This is the more ridiculous thing I have ever seen in an app. It took me months to even get past the long in point. And I had to use my laptop instead of my phone. Every single time I long in I have a problem. I have only be able to check my balance one time and every time after that I just can’t login. Idk who thought this was a good idea but that either need to go back to the old way and just delete the app or start over. It should not be this hard to find out my balance/last transaction or whatever. Way more complicated then it needs to be
They killed the app with the update!
It worked fine when we first got it. Then the update. Now we have to enter the card # ALL THE TIME. And when we forgot her log in info, you can’t see the questions. And even when we finally figured out what they were, they say invalid. So we opened a NEW account. Changed user name, password, security questions, EVERYTHING. And the next time we went to use it it takes me to a screen to delete the account. HEY! IF IT AIN’T BROKE DON’T FIX IT! Deleting this app & getting something different. We really liked it until it got ‘fixed’!
When I tried to enter my account number, there is no submit button. App only worked in portrait mode, and submit button was off screen. Pinching/zooming did not work. Could not set up my account in the app, so I went to ebt website and set it up there. Logged back in to app, and account info wasn’t there. App doesn’t seem to link to the ebt website to pull account info, and since there is no submit button for me to click, I couldn’t set my account up manually. Total garbage. Don’t waste your time.
I can’t even login in all the way. I’m stuck not knowing my balance unless I call my card. I can’t even input security questions for me to use the app- it’ll just log me back out. I can’t click on buttons for help because it’ll log out and ask for me to renter my password...this is my first time using the app. I was using freshebt and that worked fine till it got switched to this app....I don’t recommend it at all I’m deleting it already after 5 minutes of having to renter my password more then 10 times
One Irritating Flaw
It works and does what it should but it’s got one extremely irritating flaw. What is the point in having FaceID if every week or so you have to add the login information back into it? That’s the point in having FaceID so you can quickly login without having to add that information. As it stands now, FaceID is pointless because the app should accept FaceID as it’s imposed to work on iOS.
I was excited to learn about the EBT Edge mobile app. I installed it immediately. A number of operations can be performed within the app. I can even access it via biometric identification. It is simple and easy to understand and extremely convenient. Thank you for creating this app!
This app is absolute garbage!!!!!! Ive never been able to “register” so I can even log in and use the app. When I’ve tried to have a recovery password sent to my email, thinking that the issue was just user error, an email was never sent. And then if you try to go to the FIS website to see if you can get some sort of help number, there isn’t one, or any way to contact a customer service of any kind. If I could give this app NEGATIVE five stars I would. Do not download this app!!!!
I don’t like the new update it makes it harder to log in. When I got to reset my password because I forgot it I can’t even see the security questions because they’re cut off and the screen won’t slide over so I can read them. Even when I think I got the question figured out and I know that the answer I put in is right it still says invalid. The old way it was was so much better, this new update is confusing and frustrating
Doesn’t ever work when I need it
I use tons of banking and secure apps, and this is the only one that doesn’t work at all. It cannot remember my login, and Touch ID never works, it just asks for my login anyway, which I am sick of doing every single time, because it has never remembered or worked even once. The sad thing is, if you call on the phone, it’s very easy, so why can’t they get the app right???? I may as well delete it. It literally NEVER works!
There were a few bumps and frustrations registering last week, but tried again this week and works wonderful. I have both SNAP and WIC cards and it’s so nice to only log in once to see both.
When this app works it works really well...
But it doesn’t remember your account, it keeps dropping my login from my saved passwords, the face recognition only works about 1/4 of the time and almost never when I really need to access my balance quickly, and it’s retrieve user ID feature requires you to put in your used ID. SERIOUSLY?!? It’s frustrating as hell.
I had a few issues with the app in the last month but happy to report its better than ever! I love the facial recognition on my iPhone 10. The job listing is a great addition for people in search of a new job
Nice app, but irritating bug
Whatever happened with the app it needs an update, every time I go to login it rejects my password. When I try to change my password it won’t take my old one that I know is correct. I even made a new account yesterday and now it’s not signing me in with that one when I clearly wrote down my login info to be sure smh
This app was amazing at first until it just randomly said that my card was not compatible with the app!!! Please fix this issue my card is fine!!!

It is a TOTAL pathetic application and website. Glitches repeatedly with logging in and no information provided about cards and balance. The government should not even be connected up to this website. SAFETY RISK, FRAUD ALERT, PERSONAL INFO, PRIVACY all thumbs down.

The school put in the wrong address and has to call the main line SNAP line while someone d else was claiming my children because the school did t update the new address
