I am not happy with the new App. The passcodes are ridiculous and tedious. Even though I shut down the privacy for BHCCU., which alone is crazy, but I always have to get a passcode no matter what I do & with 2 accounts it’s even more tedious!! This new App. has made online banking so much more frustrating & time consuming!!
For some reason BHCCU was updated to force anyone who doesn’t have a new iPhone to upgrade just to use BHCCU . (ios 16)
Prior to the change BHCCU worked fine. Since BHCCU is the only way to do remote deposits I can no longer do them at all and have to go in to a physicial location to deposit checks. 👎
this app Closed the downtown Kenosha branch while every road was in construction around the west branch (Hwy 50 and Hwy 32. You could not get to them. Then when you make a deposit using BHCCU they hold any amount over $225 for three business days. I just got dinged $34 last week while my money was pending on a deposit I make EVERY two weeks for the last three years!!
I appreciate having BHCCU but it’s very clunky compared to my previous financial institution’s app (moved out of state so needed to change). Also, why no Zelle? Not everyone likes having their account linked to mine or use Venmo to transfer money.
The limit on a single electronic payment is too low. Your customer assistants are very helpful, but I should not have to split up payments to stay under the daily limit. Also, the daily limit is too low for many bills.
Also, the nickname requirement is ridiculous. I have tried 5 nicknames and will have to keep trying to leave this review.
BHCCU is great besides a few times of having to delete and reinstall BHCCU as it won’t show my accounts at all. But I’d love to see and update that gives a notification anytime something comes out of your account. Any transaction gives you a notification would be neat to see in the upcoming future.
Would like to be able to link an account to mine to do transfers the old way. Similar to how my account is setup with Wells Sullivan, my grand child. Blackhawk has since changed and not user friendly.
Love an institution where the employees and customers actually know each other. Nice to have a somewhat personal relationship and not be a number.
The ease of use of the phone app is great. I can check balances, transfer and pay loans quick and easily. Only thing I would like to see added is to view my statement on BHCCU .
I can’t say enough how the staff at the local branch where I do my banking are so patient and polite.

A lot of changes but overall pretty nice. Looks more slick and up to date than the previous version.
App doesn’t update credit card balances. And slow to update savings not happy at all.
I wish all financial institutions could be this customer friendly when doing business with me.
I love using BHCCU for my banking but still go in to our branch weekly. The people are friendly and I need to have that face to face interaction. That’s part of a business I can trust. We still are struggling to get my wife set up on BHCCU though.
I love using BHCCU. It’s user friendly and I like the functionality of being able to see my credit card transactions now.
BHCCU is easy to use and I love how you can flip through all of my accounts with ease. I also like that you can sign in with my thumbprint- don’t have to memorize passwords.
Went to the website and logged in first try with the same password BHCCU was telling me was incorrect. Too frustrating.
Being 76 and not getting out much, it is wonderful and easy to use BHCCU instead of leaving the house. I also have memory problems and get embarrassed about going to the Credit Union. Thanks for BHCCU , I would also like a statement mailed to me each month if you can do that. J S
