So I read the reviews before I got Menchies , and just like everyone said, it seemed impossible to sign up because the birthday spot is broken. I almost gave up, but at least on my phone, I figured it out.

➖It is not a text entering slot. It pops up a date selection box. And it doesn’t pop up where it should. The box with the date is located in the lower left corner, kind of in the margins. It was a little cut off on my phone, but once I clicked it, it popped up the date selection box in the middle of the screen and I was able to register.

This is not intuitive, or easy, and it is defiantly a huge problem, especially since their whole reward system switches over to this in 3 days. It is very unprofessional to have this difficult of a layout problem, and weeks of negative reviews and asks for help have seemingly been ignored. I hope they fix this soon, because a lot of people are unable to join because of this. Also store flavor and topping selections are not correct, at least for the week or so I’ve had Menchies . Great yogurt and sorbet though!

As someone who worked at Menchie’s I hated having to tell customers to download Menchies besucase it’s so useless and unusable. The payment system rarely worked with the registers and we never learned how to to add things in Menchies as reward/ menu updates so the only useful aspect to Menchies was how many rewards customers had and to register their number to redeem points.

It got to the point that my co-workers and I would tell customers to “download Menchies , register and then delete it” because it’s so USELESS. Plus most of our customers weren’t able to do it on their own (due to Menchies ’s difficulty-ness) so we’d have to fill it out for them and many of our customers were elderly people so they usually didn’t have a smart phone, and got fed up that they could no longer use their rewards that they’ve had accumulated.

I drove 30 minutes because I saw that Menchie’s just opened up. I downloaded Menchies because that’s currently the only way you can order (pickup/curbside). When I logged in I pushed “place a pick up order” and it could not find a single store location to place an order even though I was 20 ft. from one. I even went into settings and it shows I have location services on for Menchie’s. This meant I could not place an order. Oh well. I’ll go somewhere else.

Whenever I have gone in Menchies to order, they only have cookies and cream cake. I’ve gotten emails about Santa cakes and a reindeer one but it’s not in app. We called and ordered once but I’m not doing it again. 2020 pandemic is going on, if you can’t up your app’s options to reflect the offerings on the DAILY emails you send me, well, I can’t be bothered to call. I will just deal with DQ. More expensive, but easier for me.

Excited to see that a curbside/ pick up option is being added! Another bonus is that I can get notified when my favorite flavors are in 🙌🏻

Menchies is apparently required now to redeem loyalty points but I can’t register at all. The birthdate field of course doesn’t work and whether you can successfully paste one in or just leave it blank, it tells you you must be at least 13. From the looks of other reviews, this has been broken for months. A little testing by the developer would’ve avoided this.

Charged $25 to my account. After 4 days the charge to my credit card was still pending, so I sent email to this app’s via Menchies . The charge went away, but I never received a response from my email. Won’t use app if payment account not working properly. Same day I made a purchase, did not receive points.

It was a bit tough in the beginning, but now Menchies is awesome - flavors, toppings, pickup, delivery cake ordering and rewards account all managed in my app! So easy!

I had an account already created i put my password and number in and it keeps saying error it’s honestly getting annoying and when i press create account and put number in and everything it says i have one already so what’s the deal😟

Stopped in the terre haute, Indiana store. Was rudely told have to wear a mask and gloves to even go near the machines. I don’t carry them all the time due to we don’t have to. Then seen the same woman take a full open box of gloves pushing used gloves into the garage can. Then stood there giving us a dirty looks

Signed up and kept getting error message. Tried to log in and it says there is already an account with my phone number, so I did a password reset and still can’t log in. Continues to give error message. App is broken!!!!

Why does a yogurt app need all the personal information that Menchies requires. Instead tell your this app owner to tell the company to get stuffed. Give us back the rewards program that doesn’t require an app that pilfers our location history.

I downloaded Menchies and tried to register but it tells you that you have to be above age 13. You can proceed pass that scree. Also, there is no way to input your age.

Fix this bug!!!! Can’t use app because you are not converting the mobile number format correctly in JSON!!

I cannot create account and whenever entering cell phone number on both new account creation and forget password screen, it gives an JSON error.

I cannot use my reward because this bug!!!
You shouldn’t have same field for user to input both email and phone number!!! Bad design!!!!

I love going to this app every week. Just treated very well and they have such great flavors.

Took time to download app, create an account and then attempt to log in only to receive a message about a JSON Error. Deleted app and reinstalled only to have same issue.

This is the most frustrating app.

Keeps saying error when I try to register for a new account. Seems like many people having problems with Menchies. Hope you guys fix your app so it works.

Tried twice and gave up…. Horrible asking too many personal info to create an account.

Not intuitive, redundancies, crashes, points are incorrect, can’t find locations, missing birthday reward. Other than that...

Downloaded Menchies and used it once to scan my rewards. I decided to add $10 so I could start paying from Menchies . First attempt to use my app to pay resulted in an error pop up message and Menchies logging me out. After several attempts to log in I finally left the cash register to retrieve a card from my car to pay for my purchase. After returning home I tried multiple times to log in with no success. I tried forgot password and that when I saw a pop up message saying my email/phone number/ and Menchie’s card were not tied to any account. I tried everything.

I finally contacted customer service who said they were forwarding a ticket Menchies team. Still don’t have an answer or fix after a few weeks. I have no way to access the money I loaded on the account. I even tried deleting and downloading Menchies again, but nothing works.

My advice, just stick to your physical rewards card if you are going to eat at Menchie's.

I love this new app. It’s like my often used SBUX app. It shows how many smiles I have and how much Menchie’s money I have as well. It allows me to use a barcode instead of telling everyone at the store my phone number. I can also add money to Menchies so that I never have to take out my credit card.

I can also order frozen yogurt cakes through Menchies !!! Their cakes are so good!!! I believe not all locations have the online cake ordering service available but the stores closest to me do and I can’t wait to order for my next celebration.

I was trying to create an account and it took forever so I just gave up!! Thought I should let others know that I'm very disappointed in Menchies! I was trying to create an account and it took forever for things to load! I noticed that others were having the same problem...very disappointing. It logged me out several times and I had to restart. Not happy that I just wasted an hour of my time. Thanks this app for everything!

Okay so now I'm writing again a day later after the "fixes" have been made. Well now I'm tryibg to create my account again and now there is and error I tried multiple times and still saying Error. I truly believe they did not make these "fixes"

It might work better if staff at the stores knew how to use it. They seemed confused with the process of scanning not only for your rewards, but trying to scan it again (usually multiple times) for payment. Apparently, the reward and payment functions are on two separate pages requiring separate scans. This involves you or the clerk resetting your app to a separate page, and clerks handling your phone.

This mess is translated on a page of “transactions” with multiple indecipherable notations. A bookkeepers nightmare you’re supposed to understand. You never really know how much you were really charged, and I had Accounting in college.

If you connect your credit card to this mess where you make advance payments, like StarBux, you are risking never getting your money back.

So far, Menchies is an abomination. Customer service when contacted is silent and of no help in getting refunds.

I like the yogurt, but I think I’ll toss Menchies and go the easy way — just pay at the counter.

Every time I open Menchies it tries to convince me to create a payment account. I don’t want to add funds to my Menchie’s account. Support Apple Pay and give me a self checkout option.

The flavors selection is useless. It doesn’t tell you why flavors are currently at your selected location, it just tells you ALL the flavors this app could possibly have. If you select one of the flavors, Menchies bounces you out to the internet for more info (hint: keep users in Menchies ).

I like Menchies because I can see how many points I have. However, I loaded money into Menchies months ago, and I still haven’t been able to use it. I contacted the store after the first time and they said it was a training deficiency that they would remedy. The next time I tried to use it at the same location, the employee was clueless as to how I could pay from my app. At this point, I just want my money back.

Menchies has it all to make me smile! Not only did I get free Menchie’s money just for downloading it, but then I could see everything about my local menchie and I was even able to order a froyo cake right from there for my son’s birthday!! 🥳😄👌🏻

My Saturday, June 1, 2019 experience at store #8749 in Clifton Park, NY was not a good experience. Menchies , version 1.0.12, malfunctioned on my Galaxy S8 by not displaying the payment QR icon so that I could pay for my purchase. Menchies on my phone has funds loaded. However, because of this malfunction I was unable to use Menchies feature. The frustration and embarrassment caused by this malfunction are inexcusable! My sister thankfully paid for my transaction #1013. I want an answer as well as a full refund.

I couldn’t login to Menchies with my cell phone number yesterday, when I used “forgot password “, it says “the cellphone number is not associated with any reward account “, then I created a new account with my same cell phone number again and all my Menchie’s money was gone, it’s like a brand new account as if I am just a new member. I am waiting for the feedback from Menchie’s, don’t recommend Menchies, crap!

It’s super convenient especially because I was always forgetting my smile age card at home! I love that it allows me to see how many points I have and able to pay with Menchies !!!

This is too slow. It took me almost all evening to sign into Menchies . There is a little scanner inside Menchies but if it takes this long to log in I’m not going to use that in line when I could just give my phone number. I think this is a great concept but right now I’d rather just bookmark the webpage to see my smile points instead of Menchies .

If it was faster, I’d use Menchies hands down.

So far it will not load. It keeps saying it’s timed out.

Update. Developer emailed that app was slow due to high volume. Got in now and got my $5 reward

That’s insane!
They asked you to use Menchies but nothing happened... I tried several times, and also I spend so much money for nothing ?!?!?! Well, don’t lose your time trying to use Menchies.
Ps : You guys from “this app “ should do something about this ... why we are asked to use Menchies if “Don’t work” or you create something if your clientes can not use !?!?! Think about 👍🏼

Menchies works great and a very similar idea to Starbucks Rewards with the payment option. I do wish that they had their flavors updated on it and that I can order a cake online through it.

I finally managed to log in after numerous tries. Apparently your password can not be 30 chars. 20 worked for me. They don’t support Apple Pay to reload balance. No way to change password. Menu flavors show everything, not what’s on the floor.
