As someone who worked at Menchie’s I hated having to tell customers to download the app besucase it’s so useless and unusable. The payment system rarely worked with the registers and we never learned how to to add things in the app as reward/ menu updates so the only useful aspect to this app was how many rewards customers had and to register their number to redeem points.
It got to the point that my co-workers and I would tell customers to “download the app, register and then delete it” because it’s so USELESS. Plus most of our customers weren’t able to do it on their own (due to the app’s difficulty-ness) so we’d have to fill it out for them and many of our customers were elderly people so they usually didn’t have a smart phone, and got fed up that they could no longer use their rewards that they’ve had accumulated.

I drove 30 minutes because I saw that Menchie’s just opened up. I downloaded the app because that’s currently the only way you can order (pickup/curbside). When I logged in I pushed “place a pick up order” and it could not find a single store location to place an order even though I was 20 ft. from one. I even went into settings and it shows I have location services on for Menchie’s. This meant I could not place an order. Oh well. I’ll go somewhere else.

This app is apparently required now to redeem loyalty points but I can’t register at all. The birthdate field of course doesn’t work and whether you can successfully paste one in or just leave it blank, it tells you you must be at least 13. From the looks of other reviews, this has been broken for months. A little testing by the developer would’ve avoided this.
