I was using Momego since moving to Boston and it was perfect. Now I can’t easily go back and look at the departure time Momego suggests for the trip. Momego is easiest to set a leave time or arrival time, preferred mode of transportation, and choose if you want less transfers or walking. Momego also has the best and most updated map which makes finding exact destinations easy. But now I can’t tell when Momego wants me to leave and it makes it unusable for me personally despite the other amazing functions. Stop the minimalism!!! I just wanna see times on my trips again!! I plan the night before :(

User friendly, detailed sarray of nearby stops and favorites quickly available! Real-time gps update of busses and trains so you know if your are going to be able to make it to the stop on time! Very cool!
I’m glad I was able to restore my purchase from the old version as well! I was kind of frustrated when I heard you guys weren’t going to be updating the old app because I hate ads!

Love Momego and how I can plan a trip. I know exactly what bus or train I need to be on, and can track my location live. I cannot always hear the bus or train location. It is nice to know where to get off on my route and what transfers need to be made ahead of time. My only one complaint is that it consumes a lot of my battery while traveling, other than that I would give Momego a “5”.

This is by far the worst app I have ever used. The bus tracking and scheduling are 100% off. I have tested the times at which it says a bus would show up, and the bus does not show up for another 10 to 15 minutes. More so, the buses arrive either earlier than mentioned, Too late, or not even at all. You would have better luck determining when the buses arrive by creating your very own sundial. I would also recommend to invest in your own bus system. It would probably take less time to establish a new bus company and it would for a bus to arrive on time.

Been riding HRT for several years, took me 50 years to give up owning a vehicle. Guess I was addicted...? But am getting more exercise walking to & from home to bus stop
(One mile each way). Have much more spendable income w/o worries: gas, oil, insurance, traffic, repairs , road rage, parking fees, body scratches from disrespectful drivers. My bus pass is still $35 per year unlimited travel 24/7. Such a deal!!!

I upgraded but still have ads displaying. Otherwise I’m liking Momego enough that in the first day I deleted Momego I’ve used for several years and replaced it with Momego. Two days later, still have banner ads though was initially informed the ads would end. There has to be a better way to support useful apps other than to detract from their functionality with links to products etc. that have little to nothing to do with negotiating a transit network.

So far the tomes have been pretty accurate give or take a few minutes sometimes. I found its better to be early in case something is early like a buses. Bart is pretty on time mostly. Overall I’ve love Momego. It keeps me aware of time my time. Lol... ✌️🏾

In its previous iterations, Momego was great. Reliable and convenient to use. Then it was rebranded as Whiz without any noticeable changes. More recently Momego simply stopped reporting any data for any of the transit lines. Across all transit agencies, the same stock message (no departures scheduled) appeared. Checked all connections and cleared app cache. Even deleted and reinstalled Momego . Still nothing. Other transit tracking apps are reporting fine, so clearly Momego is to blame here. Deleted this, and have switched to a more reliable app.

I’m frustrated that my two local routes (that only run once an hour) don’t show up as options for trip planning. Instead, it only offers 20 minute walk to first transit option.
Where’s the ability to note requests for “Less Walking” or “Fewest Transfers”?
My home shows up in a canyon, and I’ve had to reinput my home location or it will continue to put me in the canyon. (Is that the same as putting ‘Baby in the corner’??)

I was forced to use Momego because it got rid of the PDX transit app. It is terrible at telling when buses arrive and for getting routes. Also terrible for planning trips in advance because it does not provide times or information about the route.
I went back to the PDX transit app because it was better but now I am forced to use whiz and it has not gotten better but worse. It is clear my company was paid to push it because why push a product that fails to at what it designed to do. I will be looking for another app.

It’s a great app and does help, but I seem to always run in to issues in regards to the accuracy of the times for arrivals. There are instances where it may be off anywhere from a few minutes to a couple days.
Not certain if that’s just a user error or not, but if that could be resolved, I think it would be as close to perfect as it could be.

A year ago Momego was amazing! It got all the bus arrival times and routes for the most part accurate. But now when I try to plan my trip the bus arrival times and routes are never right and I end up having to change routes. And then when a bus is late, it just recalculates the route to a whole different schedule. It doesn’t even show me old trips anymore and only future ones which don’t help. I rlly miss how Momego used to be.

This is the worst app I have ever used. I just moved to town from out of state and I do not know much about the town or the transit system. This is the most misleading and confusing app. I got on the 280 bus hoping to get home like it told me it would. I don’t know where I’m going and I am unfamiliar with my surroundings. I couldn’t tell which stop I was supposed to get off st and before I knew it I was on the interstate! Now I am about one hour in on this bus, and it will take me another hour just to get home. DO NOT USE Momego IF YOU ARE NEW TO BIRMINGHAM!!! Use my stop mobile!

I just got picked up by a bus at 10:10am. Momego said on bus was coming at 9:58, it didn’t show up. Momego said the next bus wasn’t coming til 10:20, way off! Please fix!
Update: Momego only works when busses run on schedule and which is hardly ever, so if a bus isn’t coming as scheduled because a driver didn’t come in to work or the bus is running late or early Momego is useless. If Momego worked correctly I wouldn’t be starving right now, really annoyed at it. Hope to find another app that actually tracks the buses.

Was a great app until they updated and got rid of a couple amazing features. I thought that was the purpose of an upgrade was to move forward and make Momego better not worse! If I could give it three stars I would but that’s giving it to low five stars the way used to be but it’s a good app still.

Can’t get a response from them about my account. Love the functionality but cannot recommend if they take your money and then ignore a simple question

i live in pittsburgh and i know it’s not a big city like some of the other ones on Momego but it sometimes won’t show me the time that the bus will be arriving in true time and then i have to download a different app so i know when i should leave to get the bus. fix this please?
By cbutle
So far since I had Momego it has only been off a little bit once. Other than that it is spot on with the times of arrival almost to the minute

Momego was a life saver when I found out I couldn't rent a car. I just typed in where I wanted to go, and it told me exactly how to get there, every step of the way

“Network errors” nonstop with the recent update, whether on WiFi or wireless, even as other more data-intensive apps and websites work just fine. To be clear, this was a problem even prior to recent updates, but has gotten much worse to the point of barely being usable. Full of bugs otherwise as well.

I left my bike on a bus and used it’s features to track the bus down and recover it! Lifesaver

Train times are only accurate plus or minus about 3 minutes (at least for Chicago Purple Line). Plenty of times it will say “Due” when no train is in sight (and there are long sight lines at my stations). Other times it says “3 minutes” as the train is pulling into the station. Also. The future times aren’t updated to the latest schedule (CTA revised train times in April — last month).

Worked well till this morning when it crashed on me in the middle of use on the way to work. Being newer to the area and having relied on this, until now, wonderful app was very hindering. I’m using iOS 13.1.3 and am planning on updating when I get to work. Will change the review if Momego starts working again.

Was forced to switch to this version of Momego after the previous version stopped being updated. They got rid of the star/favorites that mapped out your favorite stops and now just had them on a list, making it just a little more difficult to figure out.

“Report an issue feature” is broken and does not allow you to report issues in train service. Momego does not do the one thing you need it to: notify you of delays in service. Been sitting the platform watching a stationary train car for 30 minutes with no end in sight. Train arrival and departure times do not match real life.
