I looked at several apps for our “Drive around America” trip and with 26 planned stops, no one else could offer a way to map it in a single trip. Let’s you pull up your contacts, although I couldn’t get it to interface so I still had to go to the contact (through the link) copy and paste the address to PlaceMakerRoutePlanner in order to map it. I may just have not been doing it correctly either. It was easy to use on my first try. I used it on my iPad and with the map it made it easy to find my next destination and figure out which way I wanted to go. I will say one of he negatives (and again I may not have been doing it right) was that it wouldn’t let me “add a stop” at the end of my list, it put it above the last entry so I had to add a step to move it each time, plus a step to name it on the times I used actual addresses and not landmarks. Overall I am really happy with what I know so far. Definitely keeping PlaceMakerRoutePlanner. Oh and one last thing, I have not upgraded to the premium version.

I have used PlaceMakerRoutePlanner intensely over the past few months, and it has saved me so much time and hassle from jumbling around paperwork, trying to route spots by memory... PlaceMakerRoutePlanner has really changed the game, and saves so much wasted time.

Now, there a few (very) minor stipulations I have about the GUI, and there are a couple of things that would be simpler to have (like a delete all stops option that pops up after checking off most or all stops), but the layout is really easy to learn and is effective with what it does, (you just have to explore PlaceMakerRoutePlanner a bit to know how to set some options), and I will continue to use PlaceMakerRoutePlanner for as long as I have a job that requires me to Map out routes that I have to drive!

If you drive & deliver for a living , this is a must have app! The optimizer is the Best available, and I Love the sort by distance feature. The map view works great and allows you to get the deliveries done fast. I’m able to prioritize my stops using the different colors to differentiate each stop.
I work for Fedex and the address scanner is amazing! It’s failsafe and copies not only the address but also displays the business name or recipients name, very helpful.
Get PlaceMakerRoutePlanner and save yourself both hours & miles during your day, HIGHLY recommended!

So to be fair I'm not a delivery person.
Recently I had a bunch of papers to distribute to a local group, not as easy as I thought it would be. After attempting to first use google maps then apple map, I found myself backtracking myself too much. So I tried the apps, this one seemed fairly simple & a bit cool.
Sadly they charge extra if you ask PlaceMakerRoutePlanner to help plan the route. So I can only give three stars.
The other things I had to get used to were all the pop ups & remembering what to tap, how to tap, along with when, to get the map to open a route in apple maps or google maps.
But you get what you pay for especially when it's supposed to be free. No I don't need you to map the route to all my contacts. I already know the way to Grand Ma's.

I’ve been using the free version for several months now to deliver pharmacy prescriptions, covering an territory approximately 30 miles in diameter with about 18-25 stops per route, averaging 60-70 miles of driving each shift. I continue to discover helpful features that make my job easier and improve my job performance. I haven’t found a need to upgrade yet, but will certainly do so if the owners hire more drivers who need to share info with each other.

I started using PlaceMakerRoutePlanner last November/December as a PVD for UPS (Personal Vehicle Driver). The software on their program was not running well for me, if at all. I was able to save so much time using PlaceMaker and it was more accurate and easier to use than Google Maps. They were always 1-4 houses off! Not good when delivering packages at the busiest time of the year. My husband is a feeder driver and this seems like the “Go To” app for accuracy, saving time and money.

I use PlaceMakerRoutePlanner and optimize program to deliver “family meals” for my wife’s commercial kitchen. We service the entire county, and aren’t always able to follow the exact route planned because of timed deliveries, but it is easy to go from one entry to any address added. I’m learning more about PlaceMakerRoutePlanner every week. I give it 5 stars even though I would like more tutorials. We usually have about 35 deliveries each delivery day. Love it!

I’m a home inspector for insurance companies, so I travel to 18-30 homes a day. It gets me to and from with much ease. I’ve used other navigation units that gave me nothing but headaches. Even when there’s no service the navigation continues to guide. If you start out with no cell service it will stay in loading mode; however, PlaceMakerRoutePlanner will show your destination pinpointed on the map. It allows you to head in the right direction until service is restored.

This is the best free route planner that I’ve found... I don’t alway agree with the routing choices it makes and I haven’t bothered trying the “trial optimization” but most of the time it makes my route much much easier and even when it makes odd choices I like being able to see all my stops on the map and I just click the next stop manually. I wish it allowed me to “name” my stops

There needs to be an update so when your looking at a certain stop it doesn’t shift back suddenly to your location such a pain. Also when in certain areas it puts other locations after so i have to back track sometimes when i was just bear that location.

Tried PlaceMaker to help improve my flower deliveries as I was spending too much time and gas trying to optimize my multiple deliveries. Spent 10 minutes inputting my stops and PlaceMaker gave me the optimized delivery sequence. I then used Apple Maps to find the best route to the optimized delivery order from PlaceMaker. What an improvement. Highly recommend.

I had spent over 8 hours making a road trip for my daughter and I to travel and see potential colleges as well as hit tourist marks like Yellowstone, Glacier, etc. Anyway I was just going over my stops and I swiped something, not sure what I even hit because no warning popped up. EVERYTHING is gone!!!! All my points of interest, all my stops, all my hotels I booked along the way! I even paid for the upgraded version! What a freaking waste of money! Liked PlaceMakerRoutePlanner until this happened. The only reason I used PlaceMakerRoutePlanner was because Google maps doesn’t allow me to save as many waypoints. Guess I’ll try again....😒

This is so easy to use. Planning trips with multiple stops and being able to rearrange them easily is great. Much easiest than trying to get the gps to go where you want. Once you map out your trip you can then add to your gps in the order you wish to go.

Been using PlaceMaker now for a couple months and it’s been nothing but a supportive tool to get me to my destinations with ease making my day as efficient as it comes. I would recommend this to anyone who does outside sales, deliveries, or if you just need to make a few stops. PlaceMaker will loop everything in a nice circle for you saving you time.

Great app for creating routes with lots of stops. Better than Google maps. Most map apps have small limits or fees to get more stops on a route. PlaceMakerRoutePlanner doesn’t have anything like that. There no bugs when adding lots of stops on a route, unlike other apps that I’ve used.

I recently took a job as a courier for our local hospital and clinics making in town deliveries. As the route is different everyday, it’s my job to organize my deliveries in the most efficient manner possible. I am impressed with how easy PlaceMaker was to input data, the route optimization and the ease of use!

It does a great job planning a route with multiple stops, quick and easy. Accurate and shows the amount of miles it saved in a multi stop route it plans for you. Been using it for a year. No problems!

I find that I have to go to the phone more often than I do with Road Warrior. A planning app should be as hands-free as possible to eliminate distracted driving. Without a perfectly optimized route it is useless to to try and evaluate a product like this. I don’t expect to do unlimited stops on an evaluation version of PlaceMakerRoutePlanner but at least give me full access to the features on a limited basis so that could truly evaluate the product.

Sometimes I pick up delivery jobs for a side hustle. PlaceMakerRoutePlanner allows me to pick up the maximum allowed in my time slot and arrange them in a route making me able to deliver all items on time. I feel so organized and efficient!

PlaceMaker has saved me a ton of ‘road time’ when I my goal is to as much done in the least amount of time. As long as I put in the correct house number, PlaceMakerRoutePlanner HAS ALWAYS gotten me where I need to be. Invaluable!!

In my decades in law enforcement and investigations, I’ve searched far and wide for a great app, used many and was persistently frustrates by the deficiencies in each of them!

Finally, I found one I love opening for the joy of a great interface, quick entry protocols, ease of optimizing by hand based on special needs, and even the ability to schedule a time block in which to be at a given location!

So far, I’ve never found better and simply hope the continue to add features, like HPS tracking, fuel and all expenditure tracking with excellent report print out abilities, as well as a journal feature, which would make it a powerhouse for small and large businesses, police and investigations work!

PlaceMakerRoutePlanner is clutch.. I really love it. The placement of the house is on point- even when you can’t see the house PlaceMaker put the mark directly on the house when other App doesn’t. The only improvement that I would like to see is placing the street names in coordinates/ so when you have multiple stop on the same streets all the names or together.

Does everything I want on my 25-30 stop routes. Note feature is useful. Optimizes quickly. Doesn’t crash. Easy to use. Adds stops with only one tap. Final stop stays put after optimization. I like it! Thanks developers. Makes my job delivering in unfamiliar territory so much easier.

I drive every day for a living, making hundreds of deliveries, and I have been using PlaceMakerRoutePlanner daily and it is been saving me tons of time and frustration. Developers are very willing to entertain suggestions. I recommend this to anyone who has to make multiple stops during the day.

So far PlaceMakerRoutePlanner is very user friendly in setting up multiple stops in large volume, great for sharing. Looking forward to seeing how the actual navigation works but I won’t expect anything less than what I have seen so far, very happy new user to this application.

In the world of technology and apps it’s rare that you download something and it works perfect. I have to say I use PlaceMakerRoutePlanner to run my route delivering flowers and it has worked flawlessly from day one I highly recommend it and it may be the best app for running deliveries out there.

If you travel to multiple addresses, PlaceMakerRoutePlanner is ideal! Just type in the stops, click 'optimize route', and you see your stops organized on a map. Then with one swipe, it links to a Google map to the destination. I highly recommend PlaceMakerRoutePlanner!
