Just tried to send money to an inmate. Representative said my credit card was declined. Called the bank and the payment is pending. Called Access Corrections back and they keep saying the card was declined. How was my credit card declined if the payment is pending This company seems shady and employees are completely unhelpful. The rep could only tell me to call back tomorrow because customer service is closed. What a headache of a company!!

I hate these people. I changed my phone # on 5/20/23 because I had a new number. I had then moved from Kansas to Georgia almost 2 years now & because I changed my phone number I have to wait 90 days to change my address. This is really sad and inconvenient because they charge u more when you pay through the phone than you will pay on the app. I will never understand why they do that like people can't move knowing their billing information has to match the information attached to the card. It's just really sad and unprofessional they way they try to control so much. We should be able to edit on our address. It's our money we placing on there. How hard is it to have people email things in and respond at a appropriate time back to us as proof of address. Out of a 1-10 I rate this company a 0. 👎

Absolutely trash customer service. This monopoly needs to be fixed. a month b4 a pack gets sent then what another week or 2 before they receive. Never again will just send the money.

I've been using access corrections for years but lately they have been putting my money on hold both on the same day 1 says successful the other errors but my money's gone now what

Dont use to send money to loved one they got something weird going on they want ur bank info them decline ur request if anything ever come missing out my account I'm contacting a lawyer PERIODT cause that's strange jus throw the whole app away if u use it keep an eye on ur account

Access Corrections has double charged me I sent my loved one $100 and was charged $200! I call my bank they said that is a common system error they seen it was a duplicate charge at the same time and disputed the $100. Well then it placed my loved ones account on hold so I could not send anything until I MAIL in a $25 money order! I was furious because why do I need to pay y’all more money when y’all were stealing from me? This seems like a Scam! So eventually I go ahead and pay the $25 I give time for it to reach them I try to send money again it says the account is on hold. This time saying I need to pay $153.95!!! Like where did this amount come from!?? The customer service is pointless yall pay people to repeat the same thing that a computer can say. Waste of money!! They don’t do nothing to help, say “I can’t override it sorry” even though that fee was not on there at first they are recharging me for not sending the full amount when that amount was never on there to begin with! How does that make sense how am I not sending a full amount when I did not know of such amount? And I’m being charged a $50 fee for not paying the full amount that I knew nothing of y’all just posted this amount but I’m being punished?? There’s had to be a way I can take legal actions against them! Make them pay way more than what they scamming me for!!

Cant add money by app phone or cash pay horrible customer service nothing's ever resolved wait phone time ways 1hr+ is this a legit operation?

I have been trying to send money to my fiance for the last four days and it won't accept my funds for her. I took the app off and retried to down load the app and no help. Please let me know what is going on??

Every time I try and send an email it says invalid character in body of message. And now I hear the app won’t work on apple products. If this is true and it will not send a email you should give us apple products holders a full refund.. it’s so aggravating to think we will be emailing our loved one to be let down every time

Site doesn't work. my info is correct but it won't accept it. Its Christmas and this piece of crap site doesn't work, but I'm sure they don't care.

On November 12, 2021 I made a deposit which was denied, I have emailed access corrections 4 times and even wrote a handwriting letter asking for my refund, it is now December 8th and still have not received any kind of refund!!!!! Very disappointed

DO NOT USE THEM! They float on your money. They cannot help you if they lose your money! They are no faster than the normal mail. I have had nothing but problems with this company!

Still waiting have money credited back to my card. It’s been over a week now. They said two to three days. Can’t get through on the accounts department line been on hold over a hour

Is it true your app does not work with apple products such as the iPhone? I’d that why I can’t email from my iPhone

I have paid the amount owed on my husband's account twice now cause the first time yall claim never to have received it. Now I tracked it and know for a fact it was delivered and I still get well we don't show it was received and it takes 4 weeks. Ya thats what they said last time too and 3 months later I had to do it all over again, but I can send money to my husband directly and that takes a few days. I want his account unblocked.

They take your money to set up an account so you are able to send a secure message to your loved one who is in detention and they allow you to write an email, it has a check box that shows it will be printed instead of read by email and they deduct how ever many credits from your account that the email costs. Sounds great, however, not one of my messages received the recipient and they take no responsibility in making sure it does. I understand it is under the facilities discretion if they feel like giving the printed email to the recipient, but I believe one of them should be accountable, and preferably the one who takes your money. There should be an agreement between the facility and Access Corrections that guarantees, or at least accepts the responsibility to try it's best to make sure the recipient gets the email. Otherwise, what is the point? And if you are relying on prison staff who, in my experience, are worthless and don't care about the people in the facility and do not do what they are supposed to, who only do what they want, when they want, and converse with who they want and treat everyone else horrible, well then, no one will get these secure emails that Access Corrections claims they are taking your money for. It is a sham and the Attorney General should do something about them.

Absolute joke of company!! Ordered a secure box on 4/19/21.... I call to inquire 3 weeks later and they tell me sorry hasn’t shipped because items in your order were not stocked. Ok.... so who was going to let me know if I didn’t inquire myself? Absolutely nobody. Call today to cancel the entire order because there is no reason the recipient should be waiting A MONTH to get this. They said “sorry it was delivered today nothing we can do” ... well he is no longer at the facility... basically just burned my own money. total rip off, stay away!!!!

Access Corrections is a parasitic, money-grubbing, scam. They charge $7.95 handling fee to deposit $25 in an incarcerated person’s commissary trust fund account! It’s time to enlighten social media and are local, state, and federal politicians! Get involved! We don’t have to take this robbery lying down!

I think the system they have going on is a scam. They take your info like your setting up a private account. It work ok the first and second time I used it. Then I try to use it again and they tell me "someone made a bad transaction on the inmates account.....ok who? And why does that effect me? They then demand payment for this alleged transaction from me. They won't let you send money to your loved one until you pay their ransom. They don't tell you who made the alleged transaction, for all i know it could be the company themselves taking advantage of people because they know they are the only company that can send money to this institution. So you have to pay the ransom or your love ones will starve to death. Been 3 weeks since they received my ransome payment, account is still locked....come on!

These people/company are literally the devil! Outfreakenrageous pricing to the poorest population of people should be illegal. How does the owner of this company sleep at night?!
