This is app is horrible I have been using it since the day it came out and now all of a sudden you can’t add funds to your inmates accounts. I’ve used cards with tens of thousands of dollars on them,credit cards with plenty of money one time I used 6 different cards all with more then the tiny 60$ ... Show more I was trying to put on and every time it’s a error message. I’m sick of it. And sometimes it will even put your money on hold until it gets refunded do y’all not understand not every one has enough money to have their money on hold!!! They could be using some of the little bit they have left to help their loved one and you guys take it and take days to give it back. Now inmates are going weeks without canteen because people don’t know you can call and do it. You need to put out an email or a warning at the top of the page saying your app isn’t working correctly right now and not to add funds over AccessCorrections . Hope the people that are doing this never go to prison or have a love one go and have to deal with what they are doing to us.

Can't get an answer to why my payment keeps getting declined except don't use Google. I have emailed many times and have only gotten one response about the last 4 numbers of my card. It’s a great app. But, when making a deposit, it says under review every time. I have called once a week the past month to make sure my deposit goes through. That needs to be fixed. I shouldn’t have to call each time I make a deposit.

I bought 20$ of credits for secure mail and it said the ap worked with my iPhone but that’s not true so I basically wasted 20$ thinking I could send mail through the ap. Why provide a service that does not do the one thing it’s intended to do. Downloaded this mess of an app obviously add funds, but guess what it doesn’t allow you to do? Add any form of payment or payable account info when you register.

How come anytime i try to deposit money into my inmate’s account, it takes the money out of my bank account but doesn’t actually go through to them!!! Its done this 3 times now and i have not gotten my money back either!!!

I gave it 1 star because I feel it is pointless to even have AccessCorrections if it sends you to web browser to send the emails. The customer service is terrible. I spent over an hour on the phone talking to several different people saying they can’t do anything. I’ve been using AccessCorrections for 2 months now when I use it I get error messages saying I won’t be charged, and still get charged without the money being deposited into the account. Deleting won’t continue to deal with the hassle. Would leave zero stars if I could.

1) why have an app if it only takes us to the web?
2) so many "invalid character" issues that it takes hours to send a
letter.
3) unhelpful customer service
4) have a mobile app and customer service says you can not use a

For these reasons I find AccessCorrections, along with GettingOut (no relation that I’m aware of), of little help.

AccessCorrections needs to catch up to ones like jpay GTL and coorlinks and allow us to message our loved ones FROM AccessCorrections . Being forced to go to the Internet browser is frustrating and a hot mess.

Certainly have to enter my information each time , it also charged my Bank card 6 times after AccessCorrections said there was an error on my card but yet still charged me for it!

I tried to add money twice and it keeps giving me an error, but it takes my money. Will I be refunded? How am I supposed to add funds? What is going on?? This needs to be fixed asap!

I have the mobile IPhone app and have been trying to send an email. Every time it has a pop up and says invalid character. There are no characters except for normal punctuation. I have went to AccessCorrections Store and it says it will work on my phone. So what it going on?

AccessCorrections was working fine at first, now when I add money I get an error message but my bank holds the money. This is super annoying and I can’t send money now. Please fix this it’s happening every time I use the site

It used to be easy to use AccessCorrections to send money. Now it’s nothing but a hassle. 🤬🤬🤬
It gives an error message. Bank holds the money for days before returning it and then you have to call, get someone to talk to and send the money over the phone. Such a pain!!!!!!!

It’s ok ,except that you can’t send a message with any punctuality! No periods or comma’s can be sent .It make’s the message more difficult to understand .

I wish I can be able to send a message directly from AccessCorrections what’s the point of having AccessCorrections if when trying to send a message it opens up on browser 🤯😥😥

Works well, never have any issues. I just really would like to see an option to save a payment method in the future. It’s annoying to have to type in all the card information each time.

never had any problems besides how annoying it is having to type out all my card info each time. I wish the card payments were saved and the login so i didn't also have to login in each time

I have to sign in every time I open AccessCorrections on top of it opens in the browser and I then have to sign in again. I don't see the point of AccessCorrections !

Tried several times to write an e-mail message from an iPad or iPhone. I get a message saying there is an invalid character in the body of my message. I am using standard punctuation, no emoticons. What a frustrating bunch of garbage.

I got AccessCorrections and realized, after buying credits for secure e-mail, Apple Products won’t work on their site. I called customer service and she rudely verified it like I was stupid and should know this. You can’t do the secure e-mail to your loved ones unless you own a PC

Since I don’t have have a notification through my website browser, I suggested downloading AccessCorrections so I would know when I’m getting messages, but since AccessCorrections doesn’t allow you to use it for messages, I’m giving AccessCorrections a 1 Star

History only shows some of the deposits I have made. I always print the approved deposit confirmation. However, 2 of my last 5 deposits do not show in history.

Trying to log in and getting a message stating my app version is out of date. So when I go to update it states I have the newest version. Beyond frustrated.

Very frustrated that I can’t use AccessCorrections to write letters in the mail section.

Just tried to send money to an inmate. Representative said my credit card was declined. Called the bank and the payment is pending. Called Access Corrections back and they keep saying the card was declined. How was my credit card declined if the payment is pending This company seems shady and employ... I hate these people. I changed my phone # on 5/20/23 because I had a new number. I had then moved from Kansas to Georgia almost 2 years now & because I changed my phone number I have to wait 90 days to change my address. This is really sad and inconvenient because they charge u more when you pay... It's just really sad and unprofessional they way they try to control so much. We should be able to edit on our address. It's our money we placing on there. Absolutely trash customer service. This monopoly needs to be fixed. a month b4 a pack gets sent then what another week or 2 before they receive. Never again will just send the money.

Access Corrections has double charged me I sent my loved one $100 and was charged $200! I call my bank they said that is a common system error they seen it was a duplicate charge at the same time and disputed the $100. I was furious because why do I need to pay y’all more money when y’all were stealing from me? This seems like a Scam! So eventually I go ahead and pay the $25 I give time for it to reach them I try to send money again it says the account is on hold. This time saying I need to pay $153.95!!! Like where did this amount come from!?? The customer service is pointless yall pay people to repeat the same thing that a computer can say. Waste of money!! They don’t do nothing to help, say “I can’t override it sorry” even though that fee was not on there at first they are recharging me for not sending the full amount when that amount was never on there to begin with! How does that make sense how am I not sending a full amount when I did not know of such amount? And I’m being charged a $50 fee for not paying the full amount that I knew nothing of y’all just posted this amount but I’m being punished?? There’s had to be a way I can take legal actions against them! Make them pay way more than what they scamming me for!!

On November 12, 2021 I made a deposit which was denied, I have emailed access corrections 4 times and even wrote a handwriting letter asking for my refund, it is now December 8th and still have not received any kind of refund!!!!! Very disappointed

DO NOT USE THEM! They float on your money. They cannot help you if they lose your money! They are no faster than the normal mail. I have had nothing but problems with this company!

Still waiting have money credited back to my card. It’s been over a week now. They said two to three days. Can’t get through on the accounts department line been on hold over a hour

I have paid the amount owed on my husband's account twice now cause the first time yall claim never to have received it. Now I tracked it and know for a fact it was delivered and I still get well we don't show it was received and it takes 4 weeks. Ya thats what they said last time too and 3 months ... They take your money to set up an account so you are able to send a secure message to your loved one who is in detention and they allow you to write an email, it has a check box that shows it will be printed instead of read by email and they deduct how ever many credits from your account that the em... Show more ail costs. Sounds great, however, not one of my messages received the recipient and they take no responsibility in making sure it does. I understand it is under the facilities discretion if they feel like giving the printed email to the recipient, but I believe one of them should be accountable, and preferably the one who takes your money. There should be an agreement between the facility and Access Corrections that guarantees, or at least accepts the responsibility to try it's best to make sure the recipient gets the email. Otherwise, what is the point? And if you are relying on prison staff who, in my experience, are worthless and don't care about the people in the facility and do not do what they are supposed to, who only do what they want, when they want, and converse with who they want and treat everyone else horrible, well then, no one will get these secure emails that Access Corrections claims they are taking your money for. It is a sham and the Attorney General should do something about them.

Absolute joke of company!! Ordered a secure box on 4/19/21.... I call to inquire 3 weeks later and they tell me sorry hasn’t shipped because items in your order were not stocked. Access Corrections is a parasitic, money-grubbing, scam. They charge $7.95 handling fee to deposit $25 in an incarcerated person’s commissary trust fund account! I think the system they have going on is a scam. They take your info like your setting up a private account. It work ok the first and second time I used it. Show more y then demand payment for this alleged transaction from me. They won't let you send money to your loved one until you pay their ransom. They don't tell you who made the alleged transaction, for all i know it could be the company themselves taking advantage of people because they know they are the only company that can send money to this institution. So you have to pay the ransom or your love ones will starve to death. Been 3 weeks since they received my ransome payment, account is still locked....come on!

These people/company are literally the devil! Outfreakenrageous pricing to the poorest population of people should be illegal. How does the owner of this company sleep at night?!
