Invasive

2022-05-22

Why would an app that is for my health need access to a usb drive. Why would an app need to delete or change information on my usb drive. Why would it need to know my location? And it uses third parties to do this. It doesn’t need access to my microphone. TexasHealthMyChart also says in the new approval that I can stop my phone from sleeping. Why do they think they are justified even request much less require this information to use there app. My health care providers are paying for TexasHealthMyChart. With HIPPA laws this is an invasion. I will not be using TexasHealthMyChart and will be complaining to my drs.

Nobody's in charge

2022-06-23

I do not know what facility this applies to and that is part of the problem. I have used multiple facilities. There is a big PAY NOW button in TexasHealthMyChart . It's been there almost a year or maybe longer. It links to a website. The bill has ZERO balance. I ask for help to clear this off and all I get it the runaround... "We don't handle this, they do"... "No they do"... On and on in a never ending loop. Nobody knows. Nobody looks at the big picture. Everyone just passed the buck. I have another issue, an old reminder that's 4 years old. I don't know who put that in there or how to find out to ask them to remove it. Everyone says "It's not ours" shrug and pass the buck. Another problem, I made appointment then got a call and was told the time was not available. I asked about another time shown in TexasHealthMyChart ... Nope that's not available. I asked, what IS avaliable? What they told me was far fewer than what TexasHealthMyChart showed as available. Why does nobody take responsibility for TexasHealthMyChart? Why can't I easily find the right contact for an issue in TexasHealthMyChart . I tried to submit this on the contact page and got this... "The requested URL was rejected by F5 ASM. Please consult with your administrator." Who is my administrator? Exactly what I've learned to expect from TexasHealthMyChart.

Billing errors

2022-07-24

I sent a payment in an it was cashed on 12/24 I have been trying to get it posted to my account since 12/24 the date it was cashed as of 1/12 it has not been posted both my wife an myself have sent front an back copies to the billing dept on desperate days an no response from billing dept. very poor service most of the personnel you talk to only tell you that you need to resend info no one appears to want to check out an correct the problem they have in posting money to the correct account

Will not sync with Apple Health

2022-08-25

Everything else, functionally, is spot on but I can not get it to sync at all with Apple Health. I was hoping to be able to port over my glucose readings and heartbeat from my other smart devices.

Don’t even bother calling for support, they are terrible at responding. I called for help and a week later after emailing them, I got an email with vague instructions to uninstall and try again. So I did what they asked and responded back to them to let them know the issue still existed. I have still heard nothing despite several emails and calls. It’s too bad because TexasHealthMyChart could really be great.

Update Charts

2022-09-26

It would be great if we the patients had the option to update our own charts. Test results. annual exams, and preventive care appointments are often not kept up to date, which causes delays in our insurances updates of our preventive care.
I definitely think it would help to alleviate a lot of “back log” on your Staff.
Thank you

Review/ graph

2022-10-27

If I log into My Chart from my computer I have the ability to compare test results. I would like the ability to do that from my phone app as well. I was in the hospital and was getting tests every day but I have no computer so I was depend upon my wife to navigate and compare test results

What I'd does, it does well

2022-11-28

I like being able to log in with fingerprint instead of a password. Easier to request Rx refills on the phone app. Easier to navigate in general. Alerts are a plus.

I was hoping to export my Apple Health data (B/P, weight, steps, etc) to the MyChart app, but have not been able to find documentation on how to do it.

Once I have more experience with it, I will update the review.

Paid?

2022-12-29

Got my first bill reminder via email yesterday. Set up the online bill payment account and paid the bill. Received an email thanking me for my payment. Today I receive another email saying I owe the same amount I paid yesterday. I go to my Texas Health account and there is no record I have ever made a payment. I open my thank you email and it is not a receipt, just a thanks message. So, did I pay or not? Texas Health records took my data and payment and then what? Do I resubmit my payment? Something is wrong with my account. It is going to take time and phone calls to fix this first ‘easy’ transaction. Bleh! Your not off to a good start.

App on IPhone

2023-01-30

I searched and thought I had downloaded TexasHealthMyChart to my IPhone but it is not showing with my other apps. When I search for TexasHealthMyChart in the iPhone apps it brings it up and allows we to open it but can’t bring TexasHealthMyChart icon to my iPhone.

Edits

2023-03-03

Hello, I like the way TexasHealthMyChart works. One improvement might be for the patient to be able to add dates for example when they got their flu shots, or Covid vaccines. That would prevent someone at the doctors office from having to go in and read a message and update the system. Just a thought.

Finally a user friendly medical portal and app!

2023-04-01

If you’re not a patient of Texas Health, I highly suggest you switch! I have received excellent care and they have the most user-friendly portal system and app!

Time

2023-05-03

Once I got use to reading my portal health chart, it became easier to read, understanding and ask questions. Now, I really enjoy getting up to date informed about my health. Thank you Dr. Ouyang and staff for participating in this opportunity.

Useful

2023-06-03

I love having all my information in one place. Every time I need something I just send a message and everyone at the office are very diligent at answering my questions and taking care of of my needs.

Review for Mychart

2023-07-05

TexasHealthMyChart gives me access to my doctor without having to call the doctor’s office. Many of my emails and her responses greatly helped me during my bout with Covid in January, 2021. I also can look when procedures are due so I don’t overlook anything.

This is the most useful communication tool

2023-08-05

For patients to use with their physicians. Also a useful tool to access information regarding your healthcare. I would like to be able to print from TexasHealthMyChart for personal use, i.e med list, lab work, etc.

Review

I love my chart it’s very easy to use very easy to contact the doctor or her assistant and leave a message without having to wait on a phone call or bother them in their busy day I recommend all doctors have something like this it makes my life easier and there’s thank you.

Texas Health Care App

2023-10-08

TexasHealthMyChart is so helpful. It helps so much that they get you your results so quickly and notify you when something new is posted. Being able to have all my records on hand through TexasHealthMyChart helps with all my doctors by not having to wait for days/week requesting them from the hospital/doctors office.

I was wrong

2023-11-08

Thought MyChart would be complicated and a pain to use. Just the opposite, makes everything easy peasy. Wish I had started using before now. Never want to go back to actually speaking to a staff member, that’s complicated.

Dr Everett’s staff is great though and very helpful. But I can send messages during non office hours and that is convenient for my schedule.

Love it!

2023-12-10

I really love TexasHealthMyChart! It’s user-friendly, I can get and give information quickly, and I think it significantly cuts down the need to call the office for routine information so office staff can focus on more critical tasks. Staff are responsive to questions asked in TexasHealthMyChart and since information is available to both patient and doctor, it supports a more collaborative relationship for each patient’s health!

Outstanding care

2024-01-10

I have been a patient of Dr Seger for many years. The care I’ve received is the best. Everyone from the medical assistants, nurses, PAs are very pleasant, too. The addition of My Chart has been wonderful. I normally see Ms Pullen and when I send her a message about a medical issue or request a refill for a prescription she always responds very quickly. I have referred many family members and friends and they too are very pleased with the care they’ve received. The convenience of a walk in clinic that is open on weekends is great, too.

Not good

2024-12-15

First problem is that it only supports portrait mode on my iPad Pro.

Second problem is that some of my test results can only be viewed on the web site.

Also, not the apps fault, test results are not being updated.

Why bother?

Non Functional

2024-12-15

TexasHealthMyChart is non functional and doesnt let you log in. Disappointing.

Sharing Data

2024-12-15

It would be nice to export my information to Apple Health app. for easy accessibility and to have my information at my fingertips

Good Medical Info App

2024-12-15

I mean, it’s not a game, right? I can see all my medical info for my doctors who use this system. I wish all my doctors would use this. That would be awesome!
