Last update broke VirtaHealth on iOS. It looks better, but the animation it does gets caught in a loop and it makes it difficult to depress the option you want such as entering glucose or ketones. Hope it gets fixed soon. I have version 2.8.2 of the Virta app and iOS 14.5.1.

I saw the previous “review” that was actually a bug report and am trying the same because reporting hasn’t worked. My app will not work unless I am on wifi, which means I can only report readings when I am at home. A large part of the time this means I have to take readings while out and try to remember to record them later. This is not optimal. Please let me know if there is a way to change my settings, or please consider tweaking VirtaHealth to allow it to work on cellular. Thanks.

Seriously, not having this integrate with the iOS Health App is a major oversight. That would allow input from existing connected glucometers and other smart devices such as scales. It would also allow us to have a central location for this data to share with healthcare providers. Come on Virta! Make this happen!

Thanks for the hard work put into VirtaHealth . The Bluetooth sync of the virta meeter will be a great add, but integration with Apple health to read other values like blood pressure but be of a lot of value too.

I’ve been another programs before where they said support was part of it all but never did I talk to anyone for any kind of support. When Virta says support is available, support is available. I have never been so happy with all the attention to detail the attention to me the attention to what I have to say or ask has been treated as important as it is to me. Each and every coach each and every doctor I have talked to has taken the time to take care of me and for that I am grateful.

Believe the hype. Virta gave me the tools to control and beat type 2 diabetes. VirtaHealth connects seamlessly with the care team to provide support along with managing all the biomarker data points to surface the right info at the right time.

Since I cannot report the bug any other way I will use the review to report it. This update is causing my ketone goal to pop up after every action I take in VirtaHealth . It doesn’t matter what I am doing. Adding a reading, responding to a chat, checking my history, literally after every screen my weekly ketone goal pops up like it is the first time it has been set. Please fix. This is annoying.

VirtaHealth is easy to use. It’s informative (educational, hints, recipes etc), useful (reorder supplies), helpful (text your coach) and keeps track of your numbers. Highly recommend.

VirtaHealth puts my biomarkers in my health coach’s hands and I get the best and quickest responses for all my medical questions with the chat option. Very convenient and the ability to see my history lets me see progress like I never had with my regular physician. Thanks Virta!

I’m off 2 medications that cost my employer $1,000+ per month ($50 to me after insurance) and my A1c down to 5.9 from 9.2.
And the had been getting less effective every day. (Talk about med creep!)

There’s so much support with a coach and doctor. And meal plans for people for Keto. VirtaHealth itself is easy to use and a community section has a lot of motivating talk. It’s simple but it’s hard. My numbers have dropped precipitously thanks to Virta.

I find this to work very well on my iPhone and just have 1 request for the developers. I’d like to be able to download my weekly reports and the graphs for sharing with my primary care Doc. Otherwise it works perfectly and I find it helpful and useful.

Since beginning my journey with Virta, I’ve learned so much! Virta has educated me and empowered me in gaining control of my diabetes better than I was doing on my own. Virta has gotten me off my insulin pump and day insulin. My weight is back down and I feel so much better. I’m no longer spending hundreds of dollars on pump supplies and continuous glucose monitors. I have been type to diabetic for 11 years. I have had gestational diabetes with all 3 of my sons! I have never been able to control my diabetes well. Now on an insulin pump to give me medication. Only being on the program
For almost 3 months i have manage to get my a1c Down to single digit and lost so far 24 pounds!!!! I never felt better and so glad I gave it a try!!!

This is a very poor quality app. I get error messages daily that some data wasn’t saved and then the entry appears in my history. Even though I’m logged into app, placing supply orders or submitting a support request requires entry of my profile data.

VirtaHealth is the front end to a plan which costs hundreds of dollars. Shame on Virta for not revealing that fact until you get to the end of their initial survey.

VirtaHealth worked fine until recently. Now when I try to enter my ketones and glucose I get an internal error.

When VirtaHealth updated, I can no longer see what I am typing to my coach until I hit send. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful app.

I love having VirtaHealth for my Virta program- it puts everything I need at my fingertips- easy to use - easy to navigate. As an older adult (57) I am always all in for easy when it comes to tech things. I can monitor my blood sugars - my weight and my ketones. And talk with my health coach.
