if I could rate this no star, I would!!! I literally been getting my apple pay locked for almost 2 weeks!!! They can't verify my identity even though I've been putting everything in correct like more than 20 times!! It's ridiculous. I had to call customer service like 100 times and one agent was super rude to me. I have no bank account to transfer my money so I'm forced to spend all my money to zero and make a new account. Well I did that and I try to verify my identity and once again. IT DOESN'T WORK. LIKE CAN THEY JUST VERIFY ME BY THEMSELVES AT THIS POINT?? Can the apple support team just verify me and stop making me verify myself?? I'm tired of calling them almost everyday. I literally have to call them again tomorrow. This is so mf inconvienient and im this close to getting a samsung phone because honestly I got so many things to worry about and i dont need apple to stress me out about money. If you can get a samsung phone. Just get it honestly. You wont get any headaches from using apple and I definitely dont recommend apple pay. Save yourself from trouble.

when you get AppleWallet you entering your credit card number and your Social Security number and basic information about yourself a few hundred dollars later you were asked to re-verify your account I want your name your Social Security number a state ID that could be drivers license or other form of identification . after a one hour call 55 minutes of which I was on hold they in for me there is nothing they can do after being transferred three departments because I did not have an ID AppleWallet also tends to flag banks takes days to fully withdraw the money and doesn’t always approve purchases for example DoorDash charged me an additional $10 but it wasn’t anything I was made aware of when I flagged it Apple couldn’t care less my bank wouldn’t refund the money because Apple Apple wallet is overrated and obnoxious I get safety and security however AppleWallet itself is not set up correctly if they required all the identification at the beginning it wouldn’t be an issue however months down the line is absolutely ridiculous Fix your app

you can’t add store cards bc store cards don’t accept tap, they are only swipe. appl can’t add bc the store doesn’t let it, second you can add insurance cards and vaccines cards and loyalty programs through THE APPS for example if you have a dunkin’s loyalty you go into the dunkin app and ad it to wallet from AppleWallet same thing with insurance, you download them and make their account. same thing with gift cards, the cards apple can take is any card with the tap logo , if it doesn’t have it it doesn’t support it. to add ur vaccine card (if you are in NY) you need to do it in the NYS wallet and excelsior pass ;-; HAVE MORE COMMIN KNOWLEDGE PEOPLE! and LEARN HOW TO PROPERLY USE IT BEFORE YOU ASSUME IT DOESNT WORK

I just downloaded season tickets for basketball and season tickets for gymnastics and other sports at my local college. I placed them all in Apple wallet. I spent an hour sorting them by date in my wallet so that the ones I will use first would be at the top. Today I looked and all the sorting I did disappeared and they went back to the way they were in the order I downloaded them and not by date order that I spent so much time arranging. I do like the way they disappear from the screen when they have been expired. But you need a way to sort passes and tickets by date that stays the in the order you sort them and not the order you downloaded them.

I only set up Apple Pay a few months ago for the first time. For whatever reason, my phone “guessed” the billing and shipping address, based on severely outdated information. Both were incorrect. Without any clear option of cancelling the payment, I shut off Wi-Fi and cell data, but when I reenabled them the payment went through anyway.

I can’t believe Apple would provide an app that could access your money without so much as a confirmation button. If you have any attachment to your money, I’d highly recommend deleting AppleWallet immediately, unless you are happy with a subpar algorithm making random decisions about your current address and billing information. I expected a more professional product from Apple, but will certainly never use AppleWallet again!

I use Apple Pay daily without issues and will gladly adjust my review if the following circumstances change:
Had to cancel the Debit card linked to Apple Pay and linked my Credit Card in the meantime. Despite Apple Pay having the routing # to my checking account, it will still not allow you to send Apple Cash without a Debit Card linked. This problem is ridiculous considering there should be two avenues to secure that payment, either through credit or the routing number for the checking account. I know other users face this issue and I hope Apple fixes it.

I love the Wallet app, but since upgrading to the iPhone 13 with Face ID I find myself increasingly frustrated. Every single time I try to pay with Wallet, the Face ID quits. Between the time Face ID first appears on the screen and the few seconds it takes me to lift the phone to my face, AppleWallet kills the Face ID and then only allows a passcode, which is a total pain. *ugh* The convenience AppleWallet provides is significantly diminished without a thumbprint or Face ID.
Why is there no option to try Face ID again?!!
Apple Wallet Team, please fix this issue.

I think AppleWallet works great for what it does. My only gripe is sometimes when I use Apple Pay with Apple Card it doesn’t work but it’ll work if I use a different card or I have to use the physical Apple Card which is a pain because we get lower rewards for using it. Please stop penalizing us for using the physical card there are still so many places that don’t use contactless payment systems and sometimes I just want to look cool when I pull that bad boy out.

I have removed my expired debit card and loaded my updated debit card and it keeps sending the incorrect expiration date. My bank has confirmed the expiration date is correct on my card and I have it entered correctly. I've called apple support and they had me record removing the debit card and re-adding it, then upload it to a case file to troubleshoot. I never got a call back on the troubleshooting and I've called back several times to get a status on my case and I have to explain it over and over. There is a software bug that isn't updating the expiration date properly on the iPhone 11 Has anyone had this experience and if yes, did you get it fixed?

Without hyperbole, AppleWallet has changed my life. Granted, I live in an area that is mostly chain stores, so I can get away using Apple Pay literally everywhere I go. But never needing to carry around a wallet at all has been amazing. Heck, once we can have car keys in our wallets and driver licenses supported by all the states, I will only need to bring my phone with me everywhere I go. That sounds like a future I could want, and Wallet allows for that.

Weirdly enough, probably my favorite app on my iPhone when there is support. Apple Card&apple pay is miles ahead of any other method. But with low pass support, major headache to add in Covid vaccination and no marketing, AppleWallet is losing so much potential. Also, express pay with no Face ID would be awesome. Ever since apple removed Touch ID, Apple Pay is half as intuitive. Or, at least make it so I don’t have to double click to pay. This comes from a user that owns literally everything apple.

When using apps that require faceID, especially for folks that are vision impaired and have to have a phone really close to their face, Face ID working successfully all the time is a major challenge but does saves time when it does.

So it’ll be more efficient for everyone frankly, if after the very first time it fails, we are immediately given 3 options: try Face ID again, use passcode and cancel.

This kind of accommodation seems little but goes a long way for those who need it. Thanks for reading.

Hi, so I don’t have a phone, but I have an Apple Watch and iPad. I use family sharing for the watch. I was going to download AppleWallet today, because now I have a use for it! But when I saw it wasn’t compatible for this device, I was so mad! I don’t need the wallet app for my iPad, just my watch, cause I don’t take my iPad everywhere I go, but I take my Apple Watch. You can’t add cards on a watch, but you could add a card on a iPhone or iPad (if AppleWallet was compatible!)

Please put AppleWallet back on the ipad!

Have been using the Wallet app since Day 1, and have a collection of Cards and Passes that kinda document my life in last few years in a fun way.

While the new feature to automatically hide expired items is neat, it doesn’t function as smart as it should be and therefore leaving expired items behind.

Will be awesome to add a button in the next update allowing user to manually archive Passes.

AppleWallet is generally a nice useful and easy to understand app. With the ability to just send money to your tap boarding pass its made it so much easier for me to arrive on time without waiting in the held up lines with new people trying to figure out the tap system. And it’s definitely saved my life more than once when i’ve lost my actual Wallet at home. :)

The people of Russia do not support the war in Ukraine, and if someone does, it's people who listen to propaganda on TV, why are you infringing on ordinary citizens of the Russian Federation? What have we done to you, you do not understand that this is our government over, please, I am now asking all Russians to turn on support for mir cards

While AppleWallet is great for adding credit cards, and my air boarding passes and entertainment tickets can be added here, I am unable to add any of my rewards cards. I was able to several years ago, added my Panera card, but now I am unable to add any. Only can add transit cards? It should be made easy to add reward cards, but I am unable to figure it out and have found a separate app to do so. What happened Apple Wallet?

There are many uses for the wallet app many don’t seem to use, and its easy when traveling. You can add passports for flights or admission to amusement parks ect. I dislike how we can’t add our license to AppleWallet , but it may be legal problems preventing that. Other than that, it makes purchasing extremely easy and secure. I’d recommend, and would like to see more done to AppleWallet in the near future.

Wallet doesn’t allow me to add new anything. I had to call to get my primary card added. The top right add button when pressed pulls up a box that gives instructions on how to add but doesn’t give me an option to type in anything new. None of the methods work on my phone except call to setup which is a little annoying. I’ve watched my girlfriend add just fine on hers though.

Please add a way to add a nickname for bank accounts so we can differentiate multiple accounts at the same bank. Most credit card apps have this, Apple Wallet does not and it makes the payment experience clunky because I always have to switch blocker to my banking app to double check and make sure I’m using the correct account selection to make a payment.

I’d like it more if it would accept my Target Mastercard. Says it’s not supported.

I don’t use wallet much, but was excited to try adding my driver’s license. Following instructions, I open AppleWallet , tap the + sign, and my options are applying for a credit card, adding one, or adding a transit pass. And that’s all. Neato. (I do live in a state where it’s supposed to be available.)

App continues to crash no matter what I do. I cant delete and redownload AppleWallet , i’ve completely turned off my phone, and i’ve reset my phone but it still crashes when i open it
