Lacking common sense features

I log into 19+ phone queues in this app, which it is NOT designed to handle—apparently my company has pushed to have our instance enhanced to function to our needs. The mobile app lags all the time and doesn’t display any of the queues like the desktop client. There is no way to do warm transfers, you can merge calls but if you hang up it kills the whole thing. The mobile app also doesn’t display which phone queue incoming calls are coming into, which has made it extremely difficult to troubleshoot issues with my help desk team and this app support. this app support is unavailable for end users, even for basic questions and issue reporting, as if any internal help desk team isn’t already busy enough that they need one more task on their plate to handle as middle-men. And there is no documentation anywhere on Fuze permissions—why do you need motion & fitness access for a soft-phone?

this app has the right idea with the UI and general features housed in a single client. I understand the mobile app is supplemental to the desktop client. But that shouldn’t mean a user loses access to certain features because of the different platform. There is a lot of potential here, it’s just buried. Realistically I think this deserves 1-star, but the this app dev team seems to be listening (or has been pressured enough) so that deserves a star on its own.

Mobile app user

There is NO way to tell if someone is calling my department(they called my company and chose the voice prompt option 1, meaning they require restoration services, so everyone in my Dept’s phones ring and they can speak to whoever answers first bc that person is available to assist them) or if they are calling my direct this app number/extension (meaning ONLY my phone is ringing). So I have NO IDEA if I can wait for someone else to answer should I be in the middle of something else (helping someone in person for example).
Also every outgoing call I make displays my DIRECT# on the customers caller ID. Instead of the main # for the company. So if they return a missed call on a day I’m off they think the entire business is closed. When I’m calling a customer about their job they should be seeing the main company number so they can call back if there’s issues or a question and actually be able to speak to someone. Not leave a msg nobody may hear for 3 days & think the company ignores them. Half the time my calls are sent straight to voicemail bc nobody recognizes my direct line number and have no idea why I’m calling. Bc they called the company main number to setup their service

Freezes your phone

My company required us to download Fuze to transfer calls from our desk numbers to personal cells when we all had to work from home during covid19. After using Fuze regularly for a week it froze my phone making it unusable. I couldn’t get it to shut off for an hour. This has happened to my two other coworkers so far. Other than completely making your phone useless, the overall quality is poor. Fuze when you call people or they call you sometimes will drop the call, or you can’t hear the other person or they can’t hear you. The sound seems generally fuzzy and sometimes will have delays. Have so many complaints about Fuze and would not recommend.

So frustrating

I’m getting calls and that’s great but the issue being it rings, I answer, THEN it connects to Fuze and rings AGAIN before I can answer.
Also, there’s no way to turn of the feature that prompts you to rate the call quality. It’s so irritating!m because I’m not doing that every call. Not doing it so make it a settings option I can opt out of. Sick of it.

I personally hated switching from shoretel to this app. It’s been over a year and I still hate this application in comparison.

Intrusive and frustrating

Fuze has poor notification controls and feels like it is taking over my phone. I have to click on each missed call to clear the notification (how about copying Apple’s recent calls alerting interface?). There WAS a do not disturb option which has been removed- you still get calls even when you set status as busy.

All I want is an easy way to see who called and check voicemail. You’ve done the hard part, let’s improve usability a bit.

Horrible application

Please fix this buggy app. VOIP works on WiFi and then randomly is unavailable. When I’m on the phone, people hear a beeping sound when my earphones are connected. I can’t put my pause codes in all the time after a call because Fuze says this app is not available and to dial my regular phone number. Update the problems with connection on Fuze! I can’t even close out of Fuze without management telling me that I’m unavailable in the queue. Fix this mess!

Don’t Fuze it

Has great potential but Fuze constantly freezes when opening it, sometimes for 2+ minutes which will result in Fuze crashing and reopening itself, it sometimes works after repeating this 5 or so times, very annoying when you’re late for a meeting. The ‘feedback’ part of the update only asks you for the quality of the call, not Fuze experience. Sort the crashing out and you’re on to a winner.

Love it!

I use this app everyday and I no longer have a need for my physical/traditional handset. I can be truly mobile and have the same experience on my laptop as I do on my mobile phone.

Unreliable

I miss calls all the time because my phone doesn’t even ring. This is the phone software my employer uses and when someone can’t get ahold of me because my phone doesn’t ring, it makes it look like I’m not working when I am. I end up having to give out my personal phone number for business use which I really don’t want to do. It’s 100% unreliable.

No Apple Watch app

For those of us that like to keep our phones on silent, I rely on my watch to alert me to incoming calls. The this app app does not integrate with the Apple Watch yet so I only get notified after I have missed the call. Please integrate Fuze better with the Apple Watch. There is also no real way to decline a call which would be nice.

Not for Business

Fuze is very frustrating. I was on a call with a customer, kicked it off from my mobile, crashes in the middle of the call and Fuze no longer has the meeting loaded so I can’t use the one touch sign in. I’m driving. By the time I dial in, everyone has left. Terrible app. All kinds of issues. Mobile app and for PC. It just doesn’t make sense as a business application. Probably pretty fun for consumer use, I guess.

Helps me connect while on the go

Good quality audio and video. Messages and calls come through. Very reliable.

By

Terrible!!!

So frustrating...this does not communicate well with the desktop app...half the time it doesn’t show your on the phone so other calls still come through. Sometimes the calls do nothing and just go away...and getting it on speaker is a feat...stay away from this if you can

Easy to use

While I primarily use this app on my computer, Fuze is great for when I am on the move. Easy to send messages and join meetings.

By

Rate Every Call?

Why do I have to rate every phone call? I would rather rate calls every so often. If I leave a poor rating it asks for additional feedback. The good thing is that many of the calls are just fine. I don’t want to interact with Fuze as much as it asks me to because I make a lot of phone calls using Fuze already.

Sales

Absolutely love Fuze! I’m able to join meeting so easily from anywhere. It’s really great for communicating and chatting with co-workers.

By

The worst

This platform is a nightmare...it constantly crashes, people can’t hear or see correctly or only works half the time. Everyone that joins is a “reserved guest account” so you never know who’s tuning in and the chat function only works sometimes and if you are the presenter you get horrible echoing.
Look elsewhere!

By

Confusing

I have deleted Fuze since I no longer work from home and no longer want my work calls coming to my cell. I am still getting the work calls to my cell which is very frustrating.

this app Mobile App has been nothing but simple to work with. I have had no issues and love the new updates. Looking forward to seeing what else they continue to roll out.

Calls won’t come through on Cell

I use the actual Desktop application for this app. However the calls are not sent through to my cell phone when I am away. Anyone has any idea how to get this feature to work? It’s very frustrating.

By

Garbage product

Spent several hours with their customer svc but calls are still unanswerable on Fuze . Save time and money by just using the call forward feature available on every phone.

Shockingly useful
