I joined Cheddar Up to organize teacher holiday gifting. I felt that it was difficult to ascertain the amount Cheddar up skimmed off the top, confusing to use and most damningly very difficult to withdraw money. CheddarUp ended up not working at all to withdraw, my request for help was unsatisfactory and because I couldn’t access a computer had to cover the gifts from my own bank account. Do not use CheddarUp!

Somehow we have taken simple field trip and school activities to a new and frighteningly complex and convoluted level for payments. CheddarUp is slow and takes too long to do simple tasks. There was no need to add this in addition to PaymentsPlus for the same district, yet it’s one more aggravating platform to enter too much personal info, take 20 minutes, and get charged for the transactional experience.
Home schoolers are getting their monies worth being off platforms like this.

I am VERY concerned that I was only able to withdraw funds from this account after providing my government ID and a photo. There should be a dollar threshold whereby this would be required. I had $70 sitting dormant in this account after I collected for my child’s class as a class parent and sharing this personal information was a requirement for me to withdraw from the account. This is unacceptable.

Site lagged while creating account but I finally got to work. Unfortunately it froze when I started to create a collection - I downloaded CheddarUp while waiting for the site to catch up. Unfortunately had to shut the browser and re-start, needed to login again. Except the logo and password I had just set up was now not working. Clicked on the link to reset password and waited for the reset email that never arrived. Gave it a shot, but sadly it disappointed. Uninstalled.

I recently signed up for their Pro tier because I’m collecting money for a family reunion. Everything was fine until I actually needed to transfer money from Cheddar Up to my bank account. The issue has been going on since early April and it still hasn’t been resolved. I’ve contacted their customer support but apparently if the issue can’t be easily resolved in 1 or 2 emails they give up and leave you hanging. DO NOT use Cheddar Up. Save yourself the trouble and use PayPal or Cash App.

During my Sample Sale on Sunday night there were major Issues with the program! When a customer would make a purchase it would only mark some items as Sold Out and not other items. And would allow multiple customers to put the same item in their cart when there was only 1 in inventory! I had to go in during the sale and Hide items that were purchased so they couldn’t be bought again. I now have to refund these customers for the duplicate orders. It is a mess and confusing and was extremely stressful! So disappointed in Cheddar Up and can’t trust the program!

I use CheddarUp almost daily. Before the last update it was excellent. Smooth, easy to use and fast. It now is a headache. Pictures don’t load unless I do one at a time, save them and then go back to add another one, notifications don’t work, emails aren’t syncing. It’s a mess. I’m not sure what changes were made but it’s very frustrating.

Update: I spent at least half an hour on a form that DISAPPEARED when I closed a pop-up window informing me that I would need to upgrade my account if I wanted to save a second form. I couldn’t even copy my text to paste into a Google Form instead. It was GONE. Not cool.

Great app with good customer support. I just wish they would take a cue from other businesses like Canva and offer free or discounted Pro and/or Team membership to verified 501(c)(3) organizations. (Some of us are actually quite small and can’t afford $10 or $30 per month but could *really* do a lot of good with the option to have multiple Board members managing collections with >5 items.)

This program has made running our program’s finances with MOPS so extremely easy. It keeps track of everything we need and is user friendly for members to pay fees with ease. I’m so grateful we were able to use this as it has lightened the load significantly for our finance coordinator. Thank you this app!

A lot of times you need to be able to catch up later, this app allows the use of credit and quick point and click options.

I rented out villas to Villa estate in Costa Rica I need to collect money from family members over a span of the year this made it easy for those who didn’t have the cash on hand to pay by credit card so I can then gather 30,000 worth of fund’s n keep track

I was reluctant to try cheddar up at first because I thought Google forms would be easier, but cheddar up and CheddarUp are very easy to use to keep track of event registrations and lots of information.

this app has changed the way our PTA operated. we are much more efficient and our sales are having bigger returns because people can pay online. the reports are fantastic! and the customer service is incredible, they respond to questions quickly and politely and when there is an issue they address it immediately.

Outcome was NO complaints and very easy to use

Are FFL always struggle to get someone to collect all the cash for the League. Cheddar Up made it really easy. We’ll be using Cheddar Up again for sure!

Cheddar Up truly revolutionized the way I am able to serve my customers across the United States! It would s significantly more organized, affordable, and simpler than the way I used to do things!!

Awesome app which is user friendly and compatible for various needs. The ability to download spreadsheets is a plus.

You can’t beat this tool for picking up funds from large groups of people. I am using it to facilitate a 20 year reunion at work. It could not be more simple.

I am blown away by how easy CheddarUp was to use, how well they explained their system, and how perfectly it worked. I organized my high school reunion and CheddarUp made it seamless to not only collect funds for the event but also easily collect survey answers those attending! I am recommending it to all my friends! This is CheddarUp you want if you need to organize collections/info for an event.
