Transfering Iphone 8 to a galaxy S10, every time I scan qr code or put in manual code the app crashes on my iphone 8. Closed and rebooted the app multiple times and tried turning off bluetooth and other perms but nothing works
Pixel 2 transferring to Pixel 4a using Verizon Transfer. Devices pair and messages begin queing up. At 85,000 messages the transfer stops and challenges to pair to the new phone again. It takes about 45 minutes to que up all the messages, then times out.
VZW Content transfer 4.2.0 on iphone 7 running IOS 15.4.1 as "old device" cannot retrieve current connected SSID, hence won't start transfer to target phone. The iphone (old device) and target/new device are both connected to WiFi SSID "ABC". VZW Content transfer on the iphone scans the QR code from the target device (which properly shows "Wi-Fi connected to: ABC" under the code), then shows an error page: Please connect to the network shown below. Please go to Wi-Fi Settings on your device setting app to connect to below network. Path on device: Settings->Wi_Fi Network name: ABC However the iphone (old device) is already connected to ABC. So it seems that the VZW Content Transfer app cannot properly retrieve the current SSID from IOS, hence won't proceed further. How to fix this? I have already enable location for VZW Content Transfer app on the iphone (old device) including precise location enabled. Is there some other setting that can work around this? Or is this an IOS problem (google results seem to indicate Apple has deprecated a commonly used api to get SSID around 2012 or so?)? Thanks, Jeff
