I scheduled Covid vaccination for my daughters thru the app. It snowed on the day of the appt and I tried to change it on the app. But the app didn’t work. There wasn’t a phone number listed in the app. We drove to appt but the clinic was closed. I’ve since tried to reschedule but the only places available on the app are across town. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to use this technology to send out cancellation notices via phone, text or email. A non specific notice like “Vanderbilt clinics are closed due to weather”. The technology could also be used to send me a message, like when the doctor wants to get test results to me. I do not expect the clinical staff to get out in hazardous conditions but if they make the effort to go to work then what would they expect from me?

This was the best app ever. I used to be able to search for labs and graph them. Now it’s a piece of junk. I hate it. They ruined an excellent app. All labs and reports are thrown in a lump in one file and half of them aren’t really in there anyway. Messaging a provider doesn’t work well either now because you can’t reply you have to start a whole new email. No more threads. I want the old app back! I need to be able to graph my labs and also search for specific labs like I used to be able to do. The old app was outstanding. Best I have ever used. This is garbage. I plan to just dump it. Piece of crap now. It’s absolutely useless. Whoever thought of this should be fired.

Except for the atrocious name, MyHealthAtVanderbilt has great potential. Unfortunately, it will probably always stay at that place…having great potential but not living up to it. An example is the doctors’ reports area. Doctors’ reports are not really doctors’ reports, they are a regurgitation of things like your known illnesses and the meds you’re on. No real doctors’ notes. My biggest complaint, though, is that the system is always down. Almost every time I really need it, it never fails. It’s down. If they cannot find a more robust system, then they need to just trash the whole idea. I would rather not have it and not depend on it then depend on it and it not be there, which is what is happening now.
