Mi Heart rate - be fit Reviews

Just an update to the following review. The firmware of the band got updated. Now, even with the paid version, it doesn't stay connected for longer than a minute. Need an app update.

Without this program, the Mi Pulse Band is nothing more than a toy. This little app at least allows other fitness apps like Strava to access the band and record my pulse. I still have problems connecting with the band, but I don't know if that is because of MiHeartrate or the actual band.

I find that if I use the Mi app to take my pulse first, MiHeartrate has an easier time connecting with the band. Then I open Strava to connect. Not the best, but for less than $20 for the band and $1 for MiHeartrate, it works until I can get something more reliable and accurate. I did manage to get above a 220 heart beat and I know that was wrong. The accuracy is way off. I also get a 65 reading while in a full on HIIT workout.

You get what you pay for is all I can say.

I bought the Mi band 2 for many reasons but one was for the alarms. The one alert I wanted the most will not work on the mi fit app. It’s funny my wife has a iPhone 4s and her sms works but not email. I have a iPhone 8 with iOS 11.3 and mine works the opposite way. I see with the mi heart rate app you can only turn on sms alert if I buy it. So how can I be sure it will work if it doesn’t on other app? I would buy your app if I no for sure it will work. Can you help me fix this issue of no sms alerts?

I bought MiHeartrate months ago. Time went by, an update was made, now it’s asking me to pay again for features I already paid for.

Update* developer contacted me, directed me to restore purchases. Full functionality. Great again, thankyou!

MiHeartrate does what Mi Fit should have done in the first place. With the continuous heart rate option, I can easily keep track if I am in the zone when working out. It provides HR to Strava so everything is connected and in sync. It would be great if it could sync with Health app and add data points to Mi Fit also.

MiHeartrate is great, it makes my $20 mi band competitive with much more expensive fitness trackers like the fitbit HR which costs well over $100.

I paid the dollar or two for full continuous monitoring and it works seamlessly with my Strava.

I have not tried the latest version yet but this so far has been well worth the investment

There are a few things I would like to see improved such as a larger heart rate measurement display but honestly for the price I am very happy with what I got and expect to see there will be some improvements as MiHeartrate gets updates.

Using this with the 1s and Nike running. MiHeartrate crashes a few seconds after launching. Other gripes: MiHeartrate takes over the voice feedback of the phone, which lowers the music volume considerably. It also starts recording data from zero, which ruins the range of the data; it would be preferable if it waited until it had a stable reading before starting to write data.

I like MiHeartrate. Sometimes I can’t connect with the original one, this always work. The other day I couldn’t set the alarm with the original but it worked with this.

After last updates, the application looses sleeping data. I don't know why, but for example after 2 days, application looses some previous nights sleeping data

I need MiHeartrate to work/refresh in background like old version did because I am grabbing data in another app. Old version worked. This one doesn't. Please how can I get old version back or make new version refresh in background ( like MI FIT app does). Old version was really useful.

MiHeartrate allow me to send my continuous heart rates to sports apps such as Clcylemeter. It makes the band more useful than just sticking to Mi Fit app. It also comes with several other language pack that may be suitable for your use.

MiHeartrate does exactly what it proports to do; It continuously measures your heart rate. It does so simply and elegantly. However what makes this a 5-star app is the amazing and personal support Mr. Wilczynski gives to his users (and potential users). Thank you Hubert!

MiHeartrate is very good and unlimited version is quite cheap. However the most inconvenient is the need to connect mi band with official app before using this one. Please think how to fix it. Thank you.

At the moment MiHeartrate is the only one for iphone which enables continous hr measuring on mi band 1s. Its super simple to use and it works just fine on 9.3.2 beta 2&3.

I wish for standalone working without mi fit app, to be able to set interval auto measure and to see the hrate on simple graph.

Love MiHeartrate ! Please add a graph of the data after
the workout is completed. Otherwise you have to look at your phone the whole time to see your progress, particularly if you are running!

MiHeartrate does work. It takes following a specific workflow process to get set up and to start each time but it does work.

It do what it says, but I would pay for it if it offer continuous hearth rate to Apple Health App. And if there's an option to do these measurements and data saved to Health every 5 minutes like Apple Watch. It would be awesome

When you download MiHeartrate you have 10 minutes to try it. Minus the nice introduction of the developer while exercising and going through settings, you have about 1 minute to measure something. I have s mi 2 that was properly detected by MiHeartrate but could not get MiHeartrate measure anything within the 10 minutes.
The business model of MiHeartrate is to charge 99c for each continuous measurement. And yes, you buy them 1 at a time. This is a bad model because at the price of a mi 2 plus 50 measurements I can buy a high-end fit-bit with free continuous heart rate measurement. So what's the point?

Really glad to have MiHeartrate to enable continuous exercise HR for the Xiaomi Mi Band 2. Will report back after more testing.

Seeking the holy grail? A wearable exercise heart rate monitor (with no chest strap) for under $50? That seems possible, but maybe the technology is not here yet? Still evaluating, still looking . . . Time will tell.
