Edit: after the update Sunday, I can’t use anything. Can’t log in, can’t change password, can’t even contact them about the issue. This is my bank card, so this is a major issue.

I thought this was going to help protect my bank cards, but now I wish I had never got it. It’s a super confusing app first of all. Turning things on and off, I’ve had my car declined several time and have to go in and figure out how to turn on/off what buttons to get it to work. Now some how I got logged out of SecurLOCKEquip completely and it will not take my password. I’ve tried resetting my password and it doesn’t send me an email with the token I need to change the password to get back in. When I try to contact them, it just goes to a blank white screen with nothing on it. I can’t find a number or anything to contact them, so I can get back into SecurLOCKEquip and finally get rid of SecurLOCKEquip completely once I’ve deleted my card. Don’t get SecurLOCKEquip . It’s an annoyance.

So my bank recently switched to SecurLOCKEquip, and I mean complaints after complaints from anyone else I know that banks with the same bank as me about this “new amazing app”
For one, I can’t even see my balance or transfer my balance so what’s even the point of SecurLOCKEquip ?!
For two, it will forget my password (I took a screenshot of my new password to test it) put it in 2 days later and it’s saying invalid password?
Lastly , can y’all fix this? I mean if you have bad review after bad review , you would think you would fix this issue .

After the update, I can no longer log in. I have tried resetting my password countless times but it still won’t let me log in. When you click on the contact us page, it does nothing; you are looking at a blank page. I loved SecurLOCKEquip before the update and I don’t know how I will get SecurLOCKEquip to delete my card now that I can’t log in. If the developer actually reads these comments, maybe this issue will get fixed. I enjoyed SecurLOCKEquip quite a bit until this last update and now it is garbage.

It seems that every time I clear the memory or restart my iPhone that I get logged out, or it’s logging me out at random intervals. I use a password app that generates complex passwords and SecurLOCKEquip doesn’t let you paste, so it’s become a pain. Also after I log back in it sometimes won’t update all of the transactions and manually trying to refresh the list does nothing. I used to get text messages every time my cards were used and now my bank has switched to this constant maintenance app. I’m so tired of having to log back into this thing.

I am constantly having to reset my password. I write it down each time and when I go to log in the next time, it says wrong password every time. Very annoying. Reset emails take very long and this last time it’s not allowing me to reset my password. Face ID does not work more than a day. I have more issues than anything with SecurLOCKEquip and I will be getting rid of it ONCE I’m finally able to log back in and change the settings. I would have given it no stars if I could. Should have been a helpful app but it is more of a hindrance and annoyance.

I had SecurLOCKEquip when i opened my account worked ok then, tried reopening it months later cause i had a random charge to turn off, i couldn’t log in, get customer support, or help. I tried redownloading it, this actually took away the customer support option, and changed nothing else. Now I’m stuck with a useless app that just has a retry button that does nothing, while i wait for my bank to open, and hope no one uses the card i can’t turn off but know they can use, Thanks SecurLock very cool.

I was super excited to use SecurLOCKEquip but have found myself continually disappointed. The login is an absolute pain, if you accidentally close SecurLOCKEquip it makes login all over again – not to mention if you mess up your password 3 times you have to call state bank to set up a new one. The interface and user-friendly aspect is also horrible. Things are confusing and difficult to click on, not to mention the design of SecurLOCKEquip looks like crap. If you want to give the message that this a trustworthy tool, make it look professional, instead of something that’s going to give my phone a virus.

Come on now.... SecurLOCKEquip already never worked with finger recognition. I had misplaced hopes it would now work with Face ID. NOT!!!!!
This could be a good app if only you would fix the “enable/disable Face ID” toggle to stick. You’re not able to use Face ID for SecurLOCKEquip because every time you log off SecurLOCKEquip or press the back arrow it toggles to disable. There is no indication this setting can be saved either. Doesn’t matter if iPhone setting for SecurLOCKEquip allows you to select Face ID. SecurLOCKEquip itself doesn’t save the enable setting. Just do better!

Why can’t I log in? Resetting my password does not work and the (contact us) page is blank.
Everyone here on these reviews are complaining about the same things for years and still no fix?? It’s a great idea but I regret downloading SecurLOCKEquip. I may get a whole new card so I don’t have to worry about my card being connected with SecurLOCKEquip since I can’t login to take it off.
Are you guys even trying to fix the errors? If so it does not seem like it.

I use to love SecurLOCKEquip cause you could turn your card off an on and avoid hackers stealing your money. But the last few weeks when I would turn my card on to purchase something it would still decline it saying the card was off. And it would take a day or two to fix it. This has become an annoyance especially when I’m buying groceries or going out to eat.

I really want to rank SecurLOCKEquip more highly, but I have a phone with Touch ID for a reason, and that reason is not to keep having to type my password in over and over. For security, I could understand having to manually enter a password occasionally, but this happens daily and it's a pain. When this is fixed, I will happily kick my rating up a few notches.

I recently downloaded the latest update. Now when I close SecurLOCKEquip out (by swiping up which should totally close SecurLOCKEquip out), it doesn’t log me off. I can reopen SecurLOCKEquip without entering any credentials. And where did the option for a passcode go?! I am not interested in using Touch ID because I know for a fact that my phone will open with my son’s finger touching the home button which is why I don’t use Touch ID for anything. Please bring back the complete log out when I close SecurLOCKEquip and the passcode option.

After being unable to log in for weeks, the developer, in response to my review, asked that I call my financial institution. I did, and they could see that I had been locked out. Once they reset my account I was able to log in again! Giving them four stars for the correct advice and support. Generally I really like SecurLOCKEquip . It’s a simple interface, but I like that I can see immediately when I’ve used a debit card.

SecurLOCKEquip goes beyond the on/off other banks offer. I’m able to limit by merchant, location, spend amount. The alerts are pretty instantaneous and I can turn it on and use it immediately and then turn off. Definitely the way to go if you want to prevent fraud in your accounts. Not many institutions offer it but I have my debit and credit cards with Velocity Credit Union and they do!

I find the included features to be helpful. I was able to discover charges my kids were making. With the instant transaction alerts I was notified within 5 minutes of their charges. The online retailer was even kind enough to refund the charges they made because I had notified them so quickly.

SecurLOCKEquip saved my account from being drained. It alerted me of an unauthorized chatge, logged in, turned off card. Called merchant, they cancelled and reversed charges. Reported and cancelled card with financial institution. App shows card “Hot” and 15 denied charges since the first charge after a day and a half. All financial institutions should use. Thankfully both of mine do and I feel secure with it.

Easy to set up. Easy to see if card is on or off. One button to turn card on and off. Asks you if you're sure you want to turn it on or off.... Then verified it went on or off. And it works. I've gone to an ATM and forgot to turn my card on and the transaction is declined. I recommend it to anyone.

I recently visited a fast food restaurant. After they ran my card, which took a little longer than it should have, I got an alert that a zero charge was also processed. With that being said, Being able to turn the card off, when I get a bad feeling in a store or restaurant is great.

I’ve been using SecurLOCKEquip for a few months and I love it! It does SO much more than just turn your card off and on, it allows you to drill down through menus to completely control where your card is used...and when. This puts the power back into my hands and will help me proactively keep my cards much safer from fraudsters! Finally something that is giving some power back to the consumer. Great job!

It’s very simple and efficient. One of my banks didn’t offer me the option to turn my credit card off and this works like a gem. I did have one hiccup where I was logged out of SecurLOCKEquip involuntarily and had to re-enter password and wasn’t allowed to use Face ID until I manually logged back in. Other than that it’s GREAT!
