Complete reinstall required for each transaction

I’m using DBSdigibank on the latest iOS. DBSdigibank works the very first time I install it. Once I reopen it again to transact on it, it will inevitably freeze on the flash screen and no longer proceed. You can imagine how many times I am left hanging waiting for my digital token. I’m forced to call in and opt out of the digital token, and I have to delete DBSdigibank and reinstall it for every new transfer and transaction I make. I even tried upgrading to an iPhone 8+ but it makes no difference. Costly in both time and money. I’ve switched my banking meanwhile to the other local bank beginning with U.

Does not work in iphone 7plus/ phone becomes very hot

Please fix the issue. DBSdigibank does not work on my iphone 7plus. DBSdigibank just froze as a white screen for about 10 mins. Then my whole phone froze I had to manually hard reboot the phone. I have tried everything. Deleted and downloaded a new copy as well same issue. Please fix this issue

Recently brought an iphone 12 pro max. Still same issue with DBSdigibank . The phone’s temperature suddenly jumped so high. The phone literally felt like burning sensation on the back side of the phone. Please see why it is consuming so much of resource and try to optimize it.

Multiple technical issues after recent update

Update: I downloaded the latest version. It’s getting worse. Each session was timed out “for security reason” even tho I spent less than 10 seconds on DBSdigibank . If you’re on older IOS like myself please think twice before updating DBSdigibank .

I’m facing issues such as multiple login and Paynow failures, longer period for DBSdigibank to respond to a request, oh I couldn’t even leave a feedback at the end of the session etc etc. Each time DBSdigibank would prompt a digibank alert. I’m using iPhone XR, iOS 13.4.

Unable to access functions in App

DBSdigibank allows me to log on but prevents me from accessing anything beyond the homepage. So no access to my account info, statements, etc and the MORE options (like card activation or personal details) tell me the at there is an error). I have tried deleting and re-downloading DBSdigibank but am having the same problem.

Unable to login for the past month

My colleagues and I have been unable to login to DBSdigibank for quite some time. We have been receiving a notification immediately everytime we try to login, and it says “This session has timed out for your security. Please login again.” We’re working in the states. We’ve updated DBSdigibank , updated ios, reinstalled DBSdigibank , restarted the phone, all to no avail. Please fix it.

Horrible update.

Horrible update. Now pushing app into background and bringing it back shows a notice of time out. Selecting continue takes app into zombie state. Doing cancel and logging in again w mobile token w face id forces also one more validation via sms. Why change if u can’t do it properly? What was wrong w previous version that simply logged out and new login w face id worked without issues?

Not useful

Did not help and remind me to pay my own credit card bill from the same bank - DBS. The outcome is I paid the late fee despite multiple waiver requests. The actual reason for not paying my credit card bill is I did not receive my credit card bill via post, for unknown reason though I subscribe hard copy credit card bill statement.

App sounds do not respect the Mute/Silence hardware button

Was at the doctor’s office and did some mobile banking while waiting. When making a payment, the paper airplane animation was shown which include a very loud shrill sound, then came very disapproving stares from everyone in the full office.

Please make DBSdigibank sounds respect the Mute/Silence hardware button.

It makes phone really hot

All cool functionalities. Intuitive designs and easy to use. Some are even better than than the web version. However, not sure what it’s doing in the background. Use it for more than 5 mins and it’s guarantee that the phone becomes excessively hot and batteries drained very fast.

Good revisions

They recently made some good revisions to DBSdigibank which eliminated a lot of the bugs I was having with using Pay Now. The digital token still gets annoying sometimes but I appreciate the idea to keep our accounts safer.

Access to cer and key file

First, if I wanna only scan and pay, it is much slower than the last generation.
Back to the point, if connect iPhone with a PC. Then open iTunes - File sharing - DBS, you can see all the private files. I do not think it is normal.

Good app even though not perfect

Mostly functional but didn’t like how soon you have to act before it times out. Also interface could use improvement to make it more intuitive and easy to navigate. Just look up other banks interface and learn from it...how hard is that?

One of the better banking apps I have used

I long for the days when we could actually depend on living people for help. This said, the age of applications helps us avoid miscommunication. There is also a lot to be said for convenience. As someone in his 50s, using tech isn’t my first choice, but out of all the banking apps I have used over the past few years, this one seems to be the most secure and dynamic. I can get a lot done with it, and I feel confident that my data (and$$$) is safe.

This is a great app with intuitive functionality. So many services can be accessed through this one app which is fantastic. Stellar ibanking service!

Works Well

I’ve used many bank apps and the DBS app is far ahead of the rest. DBSdigibank is constantly upgraded and has always been user friendly. Great going DBS.

Easy to use

Much easier to pay bills than the website. Better interface. And easy to navigate through various options

Quite amazing

I am amazed at how much DBSdigibank has successfully replaced the bank teller/officer in allowing online transactions in the comfort of one’s home. There are glitches in stepping through the security measures, and sometimes those can be confusing and frustrating. DBS has nonetheless been innovative & creative in its online banking offerings.

Really convenient and user friendly app

Have used DBSdigibank for a longtime. More often since the pandemic started. Find DBSdigibank very user friendly and simple to use

2FA failure repeatedly

Technology like this should make our lives easier. Not so with 2FA on DBSdigibank. DBSdigibank works fine for simple transactions. It fails in allowing easy website login for more complicated transactions. For 2FA every time I need to delete DBSdigibank and then reinstall.

While I’m on the topic, DBS, how about letting the website and iOS app work with password managers?
