Couldn’t log into my mobile app

There’s nothing wrong in doing an update to your app to enhance the use of First but what is a big problem is the option you guys gave to access First . I haven’t used my ATM card in years because I use my mobile app to do transactions like transferring money, and checking my account activities. You guys supposed to give us another option on how to log , for instance using our emails that we used when we open account or log back in using our mobile app login. If I can’t have access to my account, tell me of what benefit is this your update because it’s not making sense to me being logged out of my mobile app just because you did an update. I’m not even in Nigeria now tell me what I’m supposed to do now . If this issue cannot be resolved that means any time I’m in Nigeria, I have to look for another bank to be banking with. And all the people that I introduced to this app bank I will let them know this problem so that they can find another better bank to be banking with . This is really frustrating.

Awful upgrade

This is the worst upgrade I’ve known for any app upgrade because I wasn’t given the opportunity to accept to do my own upgrade but my app was deleted by FirstMobile/firstbank which is very absurd because on line banking shouldn’t have anything to do with your ATM card because I live abroad and since the COVID 19 outbreak,I couldn’t travel to have the opportunity to renew my card and without an active card,I can’t get into my account which is very ridiculous but does anyone at FirstMobile cares?
The update needs to be updated so that I can use other forms of identity to log in instead of just deciding on one means of identification.
How about the account number and your PIN number?

Create an online account

I’m a diaspora customer and I went to Nigeria and visited a branch to set up online banking but they couldn’t help me. My officer even tried after I returned to base and still couldn’t get it done. The process is unreasonably cumbersome. I’m a banker myself and our clients can very easily set up online banking on their own. This is a low for a big bank like FB. I also applied for treasury bills, FB invested my money but at maturity, they refunded my principal and told me the investment failed urging me to do another one so they’ll be using my money for turnover. I’m utterly disgusted with FB

Previous transaction history can't be access

My experience at the firstbank today was horrible as usually. Infact worst customer service in the field of banking in Nigeria. I went to the bank to print out transfer I made few months back. After waiting for almost 4 and half hours and nothing still done. I can review the previous transaction from other banks right from First . Pls make this available on this firstbank app so we can be able to see more than last 20 transactions. I'm not talking about unnecessary debit or later alert today. Thanks

DiasporaBanking

This is a typical mess section, I’m an old customer that moved to another country and changed my name, I’ve been contacting DiasporaBanking department to change my name and type of account for the past 4-3 months and this particular customer service agent will be rude anytime I called. He will either tell me he’s not on his desk or he’s busy and even say I’m disturbing him. Can anyone imagine a customer service person says a customer is disturbing him. At this point, I don’t need the account again, I just need my name changed on my BVN since I registered my BVN with this app bank and it seems nobody can help. The name of the customer service rep is Atalobhor Christopher Ehis, you are very rude and you don’t hung up on customers. You hung up on me many times even when I want to ask a simple question. I don’t even know you but you are on another level of rude. I hope this get fix or I’ll continue to every other platform to show how this app bank customer service rep are very rude and incompetent.

Worst app ever

I wish I could give it zero star
They have the poorest customer service I have ever seen in my life. I have been to the bank multiple times to get internet banking and email alert because I forsaw them resetting everyone’s password and asking us to put otp
They would claim they have done it after submitting all the documents still nothing!!
You can’t use First without a pin
When I die I would ask God which way the developers of First are and I would gladly go the opposite way

Bunch of unserious people

For the decades this app Bank of Nigeria has been in business, you would think that right now, with all the Tech Innovations this app Bank would be right up there with the rest of the banks that has made it easier and user friendly for their customers to enjoy banking services available to them. In this 2024, the daily limits for transactions you could do is 500,000. You can’t be able to call this app Bank from outside Nigeria and connect with a reasonable individual in the customer care section. There are days that credits send to your account don’t reflex until after one month, if you’re not dealing with the difficulty of getting into your account, it would be to send money out of your account. I so regretted the day I came to you guys to open a savings account.

Miss Monday

This upgrade is terrible.
It doesn’t automatically use the same login details and mPIN (fingerprint or facial recognition) as the original version.
Worse still, trying to change mPIN from First doesn’t work. It doesn’t see all your previous details like your secret Q&A etc. what’s the point of that?? It’s like getting a whole new app entirely. Don’t call it an “upgrade” then! I wish I could go back to the previous version until all this is worked out.

The most frustrating this is getting support from this app online by email. This is 2 days after my email to them using the email given by First and still no response.

Why remove the FBN app statement and all other channel statements

You had a tab under account to show app transactions and another tab for all transactions. You should not have removed it simply because you don’t want to sho account balance. As we say in IT if it’s not broken don’t fix it. Bring those tabs back.

If you already asked once whether I want to invest or remind later. Why is it popping up every time i login. Just add a 3rd option for not interested so I don’t have to be clicking remind me. Will a person who has just N100 be investing? Not everyone is Otedola.

Updated version much worse

Kept saying transfer is unsuccessful and yet many a times money end up leaving my account. Could cause customers huge loss. While other banks are improving in their banking sector and app, this app banks service keeps deteriorating and only going from bad to worse. Might be forced to switch to another bank after being here for more than 15 years.
You’ve got a lot of work to put in, otherwise you’ll keep losing loyal customers.

I didn’t receive the N10,000 I sent to my FirstBank

Dear FirstBank please release my N10,000 I sent yesterday from my OPay account to my FirstBank account, I did N50,000 transfer this app and it worked but when I did N10,000 up till now I haven’t received it, Please the N10,000 is for my child school fees. I really need to pay the school today, It’s sent from my OPay as successful but not seen in my FirstBank account yet. My account name is Michael Godwin, I even transferred another N100 and still didn’t get anything. Please 🙏🏻 help me my kids need the N10,000 😭😭😭

Not happy

First has been malfunctioning for some couple of weeks now, most times it will write unsuccessful transactions, not network problem because I use strong internet connection. Now I’m here to see if my app is outdated but trust me no, it’s not.. this is not helping, please do something about this. Most of us are not in the country, and it’s really annoying when you needed to do some transactions asap but you could not sue to app palava. This doesn’t make sense 😡

Bug Fixes

This update isn’t good at all, the previous version is much more better than this; the new interface is cool but it needs a lot more work, you cannot login successfully with your mPin or Finger Sensor, it keeps responding with error messages. I really wish o can downgrade First to the previous version, it’s a lot better.
Remita RRR payment should be payable through First if possible. GT World as a reference

Upgrade

I really enjoy using First but still a lots to go bout upgrading... I think there should be a way to talk with an online customer service.... Most issue will be solved.. Not only you get to a firstbank branch you can solve a minor issue... Please look into that, and if you wouldn't complete any transaction, I don't think there's a reason for you saying "transaction in progress" and still not completed... I can't keep losing money for no reason. Thanks

Enable Official E-Bank Statement with Stamped and Signed Copy on mobile App.

I would like to request that our bank consider adding a feature to the mobile app(FirstMobile and LitApp) that allows customers to obtain an official bank statement with a signed and stamped copy. Many other financial institutions offer this convenient option, and it would greatly enhance the functionality of our app. Having the ability to receive an official document directly through the mobile app would streamline our processes and improve accessibility. I believe this addition would be beneficial for all customers who need formal documentation quickly and efficiently. Thank you for considering this enhancement.

There should be other options apart from ATM card

I think it is wrong to ask for only card details to log in after updating First . Why do we need to activate the same device we have been using again? Do bear in mind that not everyone has an ATM card. What other options do they have to log into First after updating ?

Enable E-statement

I love everything about this app bank except for the fact that you can’t generate your bank statement on the this app mobile bank app but other banks are doing it through their bank apps you need to please work on that so we won’t have to be calling the customer service anytime we need to generate our bank statements thank you 👍

Mobile app complain

I want to transfer money with my app and it is not showing list of other bank I want to transfer money to,sir the customer service in charge to fix it up because we don’t have cash anywhere here including banks,you have to fix it up because I need to get something with money

Service failure 🥺

Would be great if there isn’t an issue of service failure 😣and likewise First worst…imagine me trying to make a transaction for the past 7 hours yet can’t login 😣…. Ever since First is updated I always have one problem or the other 😡… totally not pleased with the update at all

Notifications.

How can I connect my email and also phone notifications….anytime transactions is made on my this app mobile….if it available…if it’s not pls make it available this app bank update the application so we can be received notification time to time on any transactions we made on our this app mobile.
