Terrible first experience

This review isn’t necessarily about DressLily as it is the company. I downloaded DressLily and it took me a while to finalize what I was going to purchase, I don’t typically spend a lot of money on my clothing and so I wanted to make sure it was something that I would actually wear. I placed my order and nine days later it was still processing, which was upsetting, it took me multiple tries to get to an actual person in customer service that would answer my question instead of just giving me a robotic answer “your order is still processing we will give you an update when it ships”, which was also upsetting. I then find out three of the five items I had ordered could not be shipped because of high demand, once again upsetting they had not informed me sooner and I had to dig for the information on my own. They then gave me two options, A) wait 7 to 10 days to see if they could get the items or B) exchange it for something else. I went with option C, which was cancel my order and get a refund. I understand things happen, it wasn’t that something happened and my order could not be shipped in a timely manner, it was the fact that there was no communication to me about the problem and it could have been another 7 to 10 days before they might have had my items and then wait another 7 to 10 days to receive it.

Wigs & clothes sizes

I haven’t used DressLily yet, so I can’t comment on that yet. But I have ordered from the company. First order of business yes their sizes are different from US,they are shown on the web site (not sure on app as haven’t used) I normally wear 2x but in there size I have to order 5x. The items I received were actually a bit looser than I expected but that didn’t bother me because I also buy 3x for the room. Better roomy than too tight. So basically the directions on their site was pretty accurate because if I followed the sizing it said to use 4x but I was afraid it’d be to small.
Next item. I love their wigs! Now their are some issues. BUT for being able to buy long hair wigs for $10 to $25 I can work with some of the issues. Most of the American suppliers charge $65 plus, yes quality is a little better but all of the hair length is short or short/medium length. For a little over $100 I was able to buy a whole armada of wigs to have fun with. Yes I had to wash and condition first. I think I got 12 wigs as comparison to the other site i would have only been able to buy 2. Some are even heat resistant.

HORRIBLE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I ordered a swimsuit and a dress from them. I figured since my mother ordered a few swimsuits from them a few years ago that I would try again because I liked the quality. I found the two items I wanted and paid. After about a month it said my package was delivered. I looked and looked and looked and couldn’t find the two items for the life of me. I tried getting a hold of after sales but that was no help. They kept giving me the go around and kept telling me to check with neighbors and family as well as post office. Well I did, many times to be exact. My neighbors didn’t receive anything because they would’ve dropped it off here. And the post office couldn’t track the items because the company delivers from third party companies. I told them that I had looked and they did nothing. This angered me very much and so I asked for a refund. I also asked if they could try to reship the two items out so that I could actually receive them. But instead they offered $15 to my in app wallet for two items that costed me $50! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! And I still can’t find my package! Don’t waste your time or your money on this company because there’s a 50/50 chance that you will just get your hard earned money taken from you. Never ordering from them again.

Don’t waste you money

I’ve been waiting months to get a swimsuit. I have tried to cancel the order multiple times but keep getting told it’s on its way so they can’t cancel. I was told that 2 months ago after already waiting 3 months. I’m done. I want my money back but of course they are doing everything they can to keep from giving me a refund even though I still haven’t received what I ordered 5-6 months ago. Absolutely horrible customer service. Don’t waste your money unless you are ok with there only being a 50/50 chance you will actually get your order and forget about a refund if you don’t. Reporting to the better business bureau.

On the 1st of October after months of trying to get in touch with someone to get a refund for an item I never received I was finally told they would issue a refund in 7-14 business days. It is now the 24th of October and I still haven’t received a refund. When I messaged the company yet again they said they would issue a refund and to wait 7-14 business days AGAIN. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS STUPID STORE. Terrible quality clothes and you’re lucky if you actually get what you ordered and if you don’t get what you ordered be prepared to spend months trying to get your money back.

Sizes run very small

No way to speak to anyone only by chat and that says only during business hours. I have tried multiple times for 2 days and even into the evening and it is still not available. They don’t let you know it is shipped on a slow boat from China and takes over 3 weeks to get your order. The sizes are not US sizes because our order was 2 sizes to small. Now in the process of waiting to try to see how to return or exchange my item and if I’ll have to pay. Loved the shirt we bought but wish it fit as we ordered and hate the process to get it. I will never order again. I measured my gal and very thin son before ordering. He can’t button the neck or move his arms and the whole body is extremely tight so their US sizes cannot be right. I had to purchase a new shirt at home this is a large slim and it is a little big on him so their large men’s reg should have been perfect or even too big.

After hearing from this app they only will refund my shirt if I pay shipping back which is almost triple what I paid to get it here or keep the $20 shirt and they will refund $3.00!! The chat line is never open and you can only speak to them through email which takes 24 hours for them to receive and the another 24 hours to get the reply.

scam!!!!

I ordered just one swim suit, due to corona virus i had expected a late shipment but not something like this to happen. my package had said delivered for over a month but i never received it. they said i can track it but everytime i tried to, it said unable to load please try again later. i emailed them and they said to check my post office so i did. the post office had told me they can’t take fedex shipments and fedex delivers to your house NOT the post office. i am still confused as to why they even told me to check there if it had no way of possibly shipping there. they couldn’t even keep there story straight in the emails they sent. one said fedex ships it and another said USPS. DressLily is good but a complete remake of Zaful, the company is a scam. i called customer support and the guy had said to email and ask for a refund which i had already done and they just said to check the post office again. if you are thinking about buying from here, DON’T DO IT! it is literally a copycat of Zaful. they even use the EXACT SAME photos Zaful uses for there products. i do not recommend this app to anyone.

Clothing is made very cheap

Comes straight from China and the quality is not something that I will be ordering from again. I bought two jackets that looked like a leather suede material in the picture, it shows up and feel like I’m wearing a shower curtain. It’s like the screen printed what leather is supposed to look like on a shower curtain. I bought the jacket for a Christmas gift for my brother and I gave it to him early because I couldn’t resist how stupid it feels to wear. The look on his face was priceless... he said it looks very European! and laughed and I told him I got us matching ones! Anybody who actually thinks this jacket looks good is blind. I won’t even use the jacket as a raincoat... I bought a pair of jeans too! And the jeans I could barely fit my foot through the leg hole. Extreme skinny jeans even though it fits my hips and the legs are fitted right the ankles are plastered to my ankles and calves. The button on the jeans feels like a super cheap one that will maybe last until I have a fat day and eat one too many slices of pizza and the button is going to let go and hit someone in the eye! When I put the whole outfit on I felt like I had been dressed by someone on acid.

Excellent customer service!

Over the past year or so, I have gained quite a bit of weight so I’m already having a hard enough time trying to figure out what will fit me/ look good on me. Then, on top of that, some of the sizes for the clothes from this app differ from sizes I usually wear so some things did not fit (*Make sure you read the size chart!!). However, they are awesome when it comes fo returns & are extremely helpful & understanding with everything. I had a wedding that I needed a dress for & I was worried it wouldn’t make it in time. I contacted customer service & they did everything they could to make sure I got it in time. I can’t thank them enough! Not a whole lot of companies will do this for you. It is because of stuff like this (not to mention the awesome prices for clothes) that I will continue to shop here!!!

Love this app <3

I have been using DressLily for a while now and I love it so much they have clothes that fit everything that I need for my very specific sense of style, they have reasonable prices and always have great deals, DressLily is easily navigated and so far has shown no problems, and of course the best part is that the clothes themselves are such great quality! Every piece that I have ordered has come quickly and is just as cute as the pictures on the website! They all fit me exactly how I thought they would except for one piece. Only one! There was a beautiful green skirt that was way too big and when I contacted them about it they responded within 24 hours and we are currently working out getting me a smaller size. I am super happy with my service and am grateful that the products are as good as the advertisements! 10/10 would recommend to anybody.

I love this company!

I have become mildly addicted to this app. Im very cautious about the way I present myself which leaves me limited on the types of clothes that I can wear. Going shopping is a chore because I end up frustrated and depressed going into the dressing rooms repeatedly.
this app has more clothes that I can wear than any over store Ive come across. A lot of the styles arent for me, but there are plenty that are. It can be difficult size-wise because the sizes are different for each piece so you have to go by measurements. Every once in awhile they’re measurements aren’t accurate but if you send pics showing the measurements are actually different than what they listed, returns are a breeze.
The clothes are cute, cheap and well constructed for the most part. I don’t see myself forgetting about then any time soon!

Dresslily App

The Dresslilly App is super easy to use and navigate. They have several different categories to look through or if there is something particular you are looking for you can just do a search on there. My son is really into dinosaurs so I did a search of “dinosaur” and it brought up everything in the store that had dinos on it. I found a super cute dino bathingsuit I will be buying my next purchase! I love that there are honest reviews of the clothing, it really helps to see people wearing them when they upload their reviews with pictures and especially helps with any sizing concerns. I always use DressLily now when browsing this app. Definitely recommend downloading, but be careful, they have such cute stuff you will find yourself adding and adding to your cart!

Horrible Company Possible Scam

Placed an order on April 27th and almost immediately it said the order was given to Fedex but USPS was handling it. I went ahead and gave it a few days thinking they would fix it. It still says this over 3 weeks later. Contacting support is a joke. First you get a robot with generic responses, which was telling me Fedex had my order. Although fedex has no tracking for the number given. When I told the robot this they told me to pick up my package from USPS. Now I see my local USPS carrier everyday dropping off packages, they don’t have it. Finally I was allowed to talk to someone in the support chat(they don’t have a number to call) it took them over 10 minutes to tell me that the tracking hadn’t been updated and that they put in a request for it. They absolutely refuse to give me a refund until after June 12th. A month and half after I placed the order?! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I’m looking into how to report them and get my money back. As far as I can tell it’s a SCAM.

Terrible app

Most of the pictures won’t load. You can’t see anything while you are shopping. How am I suppose to know what options I have if I can’t even see them. I have reported the defect to website, but no response. I just ordered something so now I’m sweating because I have a feeling I’m not going to get my order for a long time or not at all. The tracking number they gave me leads nowhere.

Update: the shopping service is fine, but DressLily is terrible. When you log in everyday, you are suppose to receive points everyday and you can use the points towards purchases. Closer look tells me that they actually haven’t been giving me the points that I’m suppose to get. It says it’s been added, but the math doesn’t add up. For example: my current points are 1900 and the next day I’m suppose to get 40 points for writing a review, and it’ll say that it’s added, but my final points are 1920. Weird. I guess I actually haven’t been receiving all my points. Tried contacting customer service, no response.

Horrible experience!!! HORRIBLE! Find a better site! It may be cute and cheaper than some but it’s definitely not worth it! I ordered a swimming suit and paid an extra $9 i dont have, just to have it delivered 3-7 business. Its arriving in 11 business days! I did it for a reason, to have it delivered before the cruise date. Oh and you cant and will not get ahold of customer service at all. This site is a money guzzler. Dont shop here. If you read the comments to the bad reviews from this app, its all fake. Take better care of your customers this app. Youre losing them one by one because you just dont gaf. Everyone i talked to who has bought something from this app told me they wouldnt buy again. They had bad experiences too. Just wish i couldve known before I practically gave them my money and waisted hours and days of my time. If i knew, i coulda bought a different suit from a different site with on time delivery. Smh. Dont buy, just dont.

I love dress lily so much. DressLily makes it so easy to search for anything I am searching for, and sorting and filtering for something specific. It’s so convenient and makes it easy to get in touch with customer service/ make a purchase/ shop for fun. It’s great for if you want updates and alerts too! I have made two purchases from dress lily so far and love the prices and quality of their items. Sometimes sizing is a bit weird so you have to read the reviews. I love the opportunities to get coupons and points everyday too. Please try it out if you haven’t already! There’s so much to choose from!

False advertising of first time app order discounts

False advertising, Cheap knockoffs, and bad customer service.

I downloaded DressLily because a FB sponsored ad I happened to click on said first time app orders get $59 off. Then when I got to the checkout I saw that I was only credited $10 off my first order, even though I “claimed” the $59 deal on the new user deals page before I went shopping.

When I contacted the company through DressLily portal, they first asked me for a screen shot of the offer. Then they denied the offer - saying it was offering 59 coupons in USD. When I pointed out that it had a $ in front of the numbers 59, they changed their response and claimed the ad meant 3 coupons offered.

When I asked why I wasn’t able to access the full amount advertised, they said the coupons were for the items and one for the order itself. I didn’t get extra off the items for downloading DressLily as advertised; the items were the same price as listed on the fb ad.

Now that I’ve done some research, I see they’ve been tagged in a number of scam groups. People who purchased from them posted side by side photos of what they received next to the advertised item - they look nothing like the images they post and use for advertising.

Don’t fall for it!

Does what it is supposed to!

I have not used DressLily yet, but I can speak to the quality of the clothing. I ordered 3 bathing suits before a vacation in July, and all 3 came much sooner than expected. Maybe 7 days? It was fantastic! All of them were extremely good quality, soft and sturdy material. There are always so many coupon deals too, which I just used 22% off to get a cute tartan dress! The sizing charge is very easy to read. It says a size Large is a dress size 6, and so that’s what I ordered. The one complaint I have is just the high shipping price. But!! that can easily be solved with their free shipping over 50 dollars :) all in all, cute designs with good quality.

Great clothes, great prices, a couple of kinks

I love the dresses and I love the prices too - affordable, good quality, cute.
But why is it that whenever I’m browsing and I tap on a shirt/dress, the XXXL size is ALWAYS the one that’s highlighted?
And why are 70% of the tops and dresses not available in size S? Do you honestly expect all the customers to be plus sizes? (and the size XXXL does not sound like a healthy weight unless shopper is 6 and a half feet tall!)
I’d very much appreciate it if ALL the shirts and tops (and so on) would be available in ALL sizes - XS-XXXL.
Also there’s not much info on how to go about returns. Some more helpful information would be appreciated.

I love the app and all the items!!

I definitely love using DressLily because it is very user-friendly in my opinion! I have so far loved about 95% of the items I have received and I say 95% only because there were a few items that didn’t fit quite properly and when I reached out to customer service they were super helpful in getting me a refund for those items so if you include the customer service experience I am 100% satisfied with this company as well as the use of DressLily and especially if you have a goth or emo esk aesthetic you will love the shop!!

Sorry but...

Have to delete DressLily for the same reason I deleted rosegal. DressLily shows items for sale that do•not•exist in stock. So you order- wait for your products- and then when half your order arrives, customer service says “we didn’t have that item so we just deleted it from your order. But you got a refund!” Really? I didn’t want a refund, i wanted the clothing I ordered... This has happened to me multiple times with this app. I’m done.

I’m just tired of the dishonesty. Don’t advertise clothing for sale that you don’t actually have. It’s not unlike the tendency this app has of deliberately underestimating shipping times. •Be•honest• about how long it takes for your product to be shipped to another country. •Be•honest• about what clothes you actually have in stock.

False advertising

They OFTEN advertise and sell items they DO NOT have. And WILL NOT inform you they are out of stock. They will take your money and wait until you finally ask why your order was never shipped, THEN tell you is out of stock and give you the option to continue to wait until it might be back in stock or apply your money they've already taken to a different item!!! OH, AND they like to lie and claim they can't be responsible for things added to your cart then running out of stock before you pay for it.....as if EVERYONE adds things to their carts and leaves them there for days or weeks before actually ordering. Because I'm sure NO ONE finds, orders, and pays for merchandise within mere minutes.... How DARE we expect products advertised to be available in that time frame!!??? LOL

Disappointed

I received my order pretty quickly. I ordered 4 bathing suits. They looked so cute in the pictures. Turns out they are WAY to small. It was then that I discovered the return policy. I should have checked that out BEFORE I placed my order. They will not take bathing suits back. Hygiene issue they said. They also require pictures of the item on to show the problem. I am NOT taking a picture of myself in an ill fitting bathing suit! If I can’t get it on, how am I supposed to take a picture? I contacted customer support. They lady that answered the phone was very nice. She gave me an email address to contact customer service about he bathing suits. However, they don’t respond on the weekends. If I can’t return the bathing suits, I at least want a refund. If I get anywhere with the emails, I’ll be surprised.

Way do different experience!

Wow, the majority of the reviews for this store are so negative and I, on the contrary, had a great experience, not once but twice! I ordered a dress for an event, paid for expedited shipping and received the dress within two weeks of ordering. My second time ordering went the same. Customer service was very helpful when I inquired about my delivery date. I’m not sure what happened with everyone else but I can honestly say that my experiences with this app have been wonderful and I will continue to shop here as their clothing are beautiful and so very decently priced!!!

Complete Waste of Time

The one star is because they have very cute pictures of clothes. However, the payment options have numerous glitches, to the point I have changed all of my security information and passwords after interacting with this app. I attempted to place 4 orders on 4 separate occasions, got payment confirmations every single time, and then notices that my orders were still outstanding and needing payment. Armed with screenshots of these glitches, I spoke to Customer Service multiple times, whom never actually provided any assistance and over-promised and actually didn’t deliver anything. Completely done and highly discourage anyone from business with this app.

Oh, and notice the difference in the detail given for poor reviews. Clearly they are fraudulently padding their app reviews. SCAM ALERT.

Horrible service

My very first purchase from this app was a gift for my husband. I ordered and paid for the item 7 weeks before I planned on giving the gift. I even paid extra for expedited shipping. I checked DressLily on several occasions to see when the item would be shipped as the dispatch time was ‘ships in 3-5 business days’ and my order continued to have the status of ‘processing.’ I contacted customer support to find out what was going on, and through several emails back and forth it came out that the item was now back ordered because they sold the same item to others AFTER I placed and paid for my order. They admitted they sold the item to others after my order was placed! They basically told me that I am SOL. Horrible customer service and a shady company.

The fact that anybody would give this company a five star review is laughable and shows how bogus these reviews are. If you order, be prepared that they will not deal with a return properly. I ordered three months ago. Two of my three items finally arrived and were way too big. It took a week of back and forth with customer service to finally get a return authorized and two weeks later I still haven’t received my refund. Now they tell me the 3rd item can’t be shipped and tell me to choose another item. I tell them I want a refund for the item that won’t ship and they tell me I can only have store credit-for an item they charges me for that they cannot provide! This company is an absolute scam. Do yourself a favor and find your clothing elsewhere.

Hey Dresslily straight up denied that I ever placed an order after charging me, and went as far as placing the item back in my cart as an attempt to fool me. I have been fighting with them for the last couple days and am repeatedly asked for the same information. 1) what is the order number? (I dont know they never told me) 2) what is the email attached to the account? (Why tf wouldn't they have that in their records?) And 3) they asked for my banking information to "prove" I paid, (I sent cropped screenshots of my transactions history, clearly showing a $34 charge from them. Change your trustworthiness scores to match the reviews you are getting please.
