ABOUT THE APP

Who says calendars can't be fun? Vantage takes the mundane out of scheduling. In part because it works well and is easy to use, but also because of useful visual cues like colors, stickers, book covers and stacks. Visual cues makes understanding a long list of stuff easier, and can help you understand your daily life better. Sort of like doodles in a physical book can help you remember notes. Picked by Apple as the "App of the Day" on the App Store in 2019. Stacks Stacks are a really cool way of summarising days. It reduces clutter and visualises how much is on your plate. The higher the stack, the more things you got planned. Tap any stack to peek it’s contents. Integrated To-Dos To-dos live in little notebooks right next to the main timeline. To set a due date, just drag a to-do and drop it on a date. You also get to customise your books with a pre-set book cover, or even a photo from your camera roll. Color Tags and Stickers Visual cues makes long lists of stuff so much easier to read. Pick from a variety of funky stickers or color tags to let events either pop or feel connected. Features in summary - Natural Language Input - Custom Repeat Rules - Custom Alerts - Syncs with iOS Calendar, Google Calendar, Exchange, Facebook - Use colors, stickers and fonts as search tags, super useful! - Useful widget calendar in notification centre - Keep To-do lists in Notebooks - Drag and drop To-dos to due dates - Location through Apple or Google Maps - Inbox for event invites - Send email reply to invites and group email all attendees - Week numbers - Absolutely no ads Featured by the App Store in 'Stay on Schedule', as the 'Free App of the Week' and in 'New Apps We Love'. Pretty blown away by this little app

I have used iPhone native calendar, google calendar, and planner pro over the years. I found this, stumbled onto this app, and thought I would check it out. Frankly I liked the graphite clean look of the screen I found in the App Store and thought I would check it out. Wow what a neat app. Clever and stylish in looks but very capable in what it does = a great calendar AND Task manager in one fun little app. I don’t normally get impressed by iPhone apps, but this one surprised me. I almost didn’t download it because of the in app purchase price of $9.99, I was concerned that it might be some kind of silly monthly fee, but it was a one time purchase that opens up all the features. By the way they give you free access to begin with so you can try them all out, they call it points, when you get to zero points you have to make a decision as to whether you want to unlock all the features by paying the one time fee. Needless to say I paid one time fee and I am quite happy with what the app does. The only issue I am having, it is probably not the app, I am having a bit of a battery drain issue. It’s not a significant drain but it is a noticeable drain so I will continue to watch it. I am running an iPhone 6 with a replaced battery.

Ummm... Wow! Where to start..?

So I've used Apple calendar for a long time, and switched back and forth with Google calendar and other apps. Until now. This thing is freaking awesome! Finally an app developer with some common sense. Let's put our reminders/to-do list items within the same application as our calendar... Sounds like a simple yet rational thought, right? Well until this app, I have yet to find another app that pulls everything together so seamlessly with a beautiful interface that's clean and stylish. You have this futuristic look, but not overstated scrolling star wars style calendar which is really cool. But if you don't like it, you can simply swipe to the left and all your calendar events show up in a regular scheduler style. Swipe to the right and all of your reminders are there and sorted into little booklets for you... And they show up in your calendar! There is a $10 one time charge to use the full functionality of the app, but come on?! Your calendar and reminders are your life! $10 is so worth the cost. Plus it saves the you the hassle of flipping between applications. Don't be a cheap skate and pay it! You'll be glad you did!

This thing looks and feels incredible

I don’t leave reviews, but had to for this app. It looks gorgeous. Navigation is intuitive. The color scheme can be customized. Adding events are easy. You can also see your week at a glance with the days broken out by hour, which is exactly what I was looking for. This novel way of scrolling through your days a la Star Wars, and expanding and collapsing your events from view is surprisingly useful. I had thought it would be more for show than function and I was wrong. You sync your calendar and reminders with this and it combines it into a powerful and beautiful productivity app. This is, at its core, a clinic in how design can be used to help improve people’s interface with tech. I can’t say enough good about it, especially after downloading and subsequently deleting other apps that look awful, are unnecessarily complex, or glitchy. There’s a one time fee of 9.99 to unlock all features, and for all the other developers carving off a part of your hard earned income with insane monthly subscriptions, is a complete steal. I’m so glad I found this app. Give it a download. It’s free to try. I know I’m done looking around. This is it.

Needed improvements at bottom

I’M IN LOVE! Look, I go to an art college, and my pre-quarter assignment is getting a planner app I’ll follow. THIS IS IT! This is the app I need. I can feel it in my bones. It’s gorgeous and has several different ways to view for us visual learners out there. I love everything about the to-dos and the Star-Wars-intro calendar slide. I think the colors could use more customization options, but they’re doin great! I know several art students, like me, who would absolutely adore this app. I just think it should have some kind of connection with Evernote. It was my first find for my assignment. I need that app as well, so please at least let the link to my evernote that I shared to my remind app work in vantage. The Evernote icon 🐘 pops up in reminders, but not in vantage when looking at the reminder in my vantage reminders folder. Even though the note is showing! I also think y’all should expand to other devices which all connect. Still a wonderous app though! Please, keep improving! 💗

Love Vantage. One teensy suggestion.

I love this app. I’m not good at maintaining a calendar, and I’ve been able to maintain this one for months now. Quite a record for me. The interface is intuitive, and it doesn’t overwhelm the user with a spread-sheet-esque calendar populated by too many colors and too much text, with no real focus or flow. I would rather poke my eyes out with pins than read anything even resembling a spreadsheet. So, luckily Vantage doesn’t resemble a spreadsheet. I like my eyes. One teensy request- will you please include in your next update the ability to assign more than one sticker to an event? I have a system of categorizing events, but only allowing one sticker kind of screws my system. (For example, I want to be able to differentiate between different freelance jobs by using the same $ sticker with different activity stickers- like a book for tutoring, or a computer for writing.) Perfect in every other way, though!
