at the root to avoid any and all mediums "Harry Khoury" (the developer) uses to bill you.
A few things to note and do before cancelling:

Yearly subscription with a free 7-day trial. The subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period. The price will be charged to the payment method associated with your iTunes Account. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period for the same price. You may turn off auto-renew after the purchase by going to your Account Settings.
Removing card details from DayCount • Habit Tracker if you subscribed directly is very tricky. Very few websites allow you to remove your card details. So you will have to make do with some few tricks before and after subscribing on websites in the future.
