Visual cues makes understanding a long list of stuff easier, and can help you understand your daily life better.

Visual cues makes long lists of stuff so much easier to read.

Sort of like doodles in a physical book can help you remember notes.

Pick from a variety of funky stickers or color tags to let events either pop or feel connected.

You also get to customise your books with a pre-set book cover, or even a photo from your camera roll.

"It breaks the mold and offers an entirely new way to organize your life.

To set a due date, just drag a to-do and drop it on a date.

Tap any stack to peek it’s contents.

To-dos live in little notebooks right next to the main timeline.

The higher the stack, the more things you got planned.

Stacks are a really cool way of summarising days.

Pretty blown away by this little app

I have used iPhone native calendar, google calendar, and planner pro over the years. I found this, stumbled onto VantageCalendar, and thought I would check it out. Frankly I liked the graphite clean look of the screen I found in VantageCalendar Store and thought I would check it out. Wow what a neat app. Clever and stylish in looks but very capable in what it does = a great calendar AND Task manager in one fun little app. I don’t normally get impressed by iPhone apps, but this one surprised me. I almost didn’t download it because of the in app purchase price of $9.99, I was concerned that it might be some kind of silly monthly fee, but it was a one time purchase that opens up all the features. By the way they give you free access to begin with so you can try them all out, they call it points, when you get to zero points you have to make a decision as to whether you want to unlock all the features by paying the one time fee. Needless to say I paid one time fee and I am quite happy with what VantageCalendar does. The only issue I am having, it is probably not VantageCalendar , I am having a bit of a battery drain issue. It’s not a significant drain but it is a noticeable drain so I will continue to watch it. I am running an iPhone 6 with a replaced battery.

Would be great but...

When I first downloaded VantageCalendar a few months ago I was so excited to use it. The design is great and I love the integration of to do lists and calendar in one place. However I have noticed two major issues with VantageCalendar which have occurred again and again. The first is that when you cross time zones VantageCalendar will randomly change the time of events. I am a graduate student and frequently travel from one time zone to another to visit family and friends, and I began to notice that events in my vantage calendar were changing times. At first I thought I input them incorrectly; however, since my calendar syncs with my Apple calendar, I was able to confirm that I had not entered the events incorrectly as the correct times were noted in the Apple calendar. The second issue is that VantageCalendar frequently loses to do items or events altogether. Again I was able to confirm that this was not my error since the numerous reminders and events which Vantage has lost are still in my Apple calendar and reminders apps. These issues are huge. I have almost missed multiple meetings and deadlines because I was relying on the accuracy of my calendar and almost missed a flight because of these issues. Honestly I was so excited about VantageCalendar but now I wish I had not purchased it. Until they fix these issues I would say that you shouldn’t waste your money.

This thing looks and feels incredible

I don’t leave reviews, but had to for VantageCalendar. It looks gorgeous. Navigation is intuitive. The color scheme can be customized. Adding events are easy. You can also see your week at a glance with the days broken out by hour, which is exactly what I was looking for. This novel way of scrolling through your days a la Star Wars, and expanding and collapsing your events from view is surprisingly useful. I had thought it would be more for show than function and I was wrong.

You sync your calendar and reminders with this and it combines it into a powerful and beautiful productivity app. This is, at its core, a clinic in how design can be used to help improve people’s interface with tech. I can’t say enough good about it, especially after downloading and subsequently deleting other apps that look awful, are unnecessarily complex, or glitchy. There’s a one time fee of 9.99 to unlock all features, and for all the other developers carving off a part of your hard earned income with insane monthly subscriptions, is a complete steal. I’m so glad I found VantageCalendar. Give it a download. It’s free to try. I know I’m done looking around. This is it.

Ummm... Wow! Where to start..?

So I've used Apple calendar for a long time, and switched back and forth with Google calendar and other apps. Until now. This thing is freaking awesome! Finally an app developer with some common sense. Let's put our reminders/to-do list items within the same application as our calendar... Sounds like a simple yet rational thought, right? Well until VantageCalendar, I have yet to find another app that pulls everything together so seamlessly with a beautiful interface that's clean and stylish. You have this futuristic look, but not overstated scrolling star wars style calendar which is really cool. But if you don't like it, you can simply swipe to the left and all your calendar events show up in a regular scheduler style. Swipe to the right and all of your reminders are there and sorted into little booklets for you... And they show up in your calendar!

There is a $10 one time charge to use the full functionality of VantageCalendar , but come on?! Your calendar and reminders are your life! $10 is so worth the cost. Plus it saves the you the hassle of flipping between applications. Don't be a cheap skate and pay it! You'll be glad you did!

Do not buy this app, no help from developer on serious app issues

To date, No refund has been issued. At this point it’s no longer about the money, it is the principle that I’m being jerked around. Do not buy VantageCalendar. I’ve had VantageCalendar since last October. Initially, it seemed to operate fine and I liked it a lot. That was until it started creating events in my calendar that I did not create nor could I delete them. When the developer did finally reach out, they said it must have been events from my email. Um, no. These were not from my email. Then, I started having large groups of tasks and appointments disappear. Not stuff that was several months old, as they suggested, because I’ve only had it for less than 3mths, but events in the last few weeks. Everything defaulted to the standard font. When I sent emails to Vantage letting them know about these issues I was ignored. The only contact I received were their automated reply suggesting that I look at their FAQs and a blow off about a refund. How are FAQs going to solve technical glitches like these? I have sent numerous emails since letting them know about the problem along with requesting a refund. Basically I’ve been scammed out of $. I don’t recommend getting VantageCalendar or syncing any of your calendars with it. Just flashy and pretty, otherwise useless if you want a reliable calendar.

Needed improvements at bottom

I’M IN LOVE! Look, I go to an art college, and my pre-quarter assignment is getting a planner app I’ll follow. THIS IS IT! This is VantageCalendar I need. I can feel it in my bones. It’s gorgeous and has several different ways to view for us visual learners out there. I love everything about the to-dos and the Star-Wars-intro calendar slide. I think the colors could use more customization options, but they’re doin great! I know several art students, like me, who would absolutely adore VantageCalendar. I just think it should have some kind of connection with Evernote. It was my first find for my assignment. I need that app as well, so please at least let the link to my evernote that I shared to my remind app work in vantage. The Evernote icon 🐘 pops up in reminders, but not in vantage when looking at the reminder in my vantage reminders folder. Even though the note is showing! I also think y’all should expand to other devices which all connect. Still a wonderous app though! Please, keep improving! 💗

Really great calendar app

Vantage has some fresh features and it’s invigorating to use. While it doesn’t offer a complete range of features to satisfy my needs, I still see using it in the same capacity I would a daily planner. This is the only app I’ve found that has *fully* integrated calendar and to-do lists. I need more from a to-do app than this offers (I need more complex project management with delegation ability and sub lists), but if the native to-do app works for you, this will be an improvement. I really love the journal format for lists and still plan on using them sort of bujo style for things like a bucket list that doesn’t necessarily need to be in my project management app. I love that I can take a bucket list task and turn it into an event on my schedule when I’m ready.

The calendar side is pretty fully rounded out and full featured. It has a clean interface and some unique and traditional views as needed.

Overall there’s some room for improvement but I really like what they're doing with VantageCalendar.

Really great calendar app!!

First off, I really do love VantageCalendar. Love the unique, clean design, the color packs, font options, stickers, colors, I could go on and on. I love VantageCalendar!! Thank you for breaking out of the regular calendar layouts and bringing something fresh and functional!! The reason I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because:

1) I would like for it to be free standing from the Apple reminder app and the apple calendar. I would like to be able to add Books to my To-Do list without having to add the title in the apple reminders app first.

2) I would love to see a check list option within events on the calendar. Like within the notes section. I am currently using the notes section for things like my grocery list, items I need to take with me for specific events, etc. And it works, but it’s really annoying to delete the items one by one as I mark them off my list. But to have a checklist within the notes section would be AMAZING!!!! Either a checkbox or a strike through option would be ideal. What would be even better is to offer both options! I would pay premium add on price for that option!

Other than that, VantageCalendar is as close to perfect as you can get! Keep up the great work!! I cannot wait to see what updates come along later on!

Best Calendar I’ve found!

I’m always looking for better options than the “basic Apple” for Calendar, Mail, etc. With my OCD’s, and constant need for organization, I’ve found so much more that I wanted or needed in the basic apps, and let’s be honest, pretty apps are a necessity! I came across VantageCalendar over a year ago, (almost a year and a half) and within the first day using it, I knew this one would be the one I’d keep. Very much organized, though simple to use... tons of options for customizing, and it’s absolutely beautiful! I can’t say enough about VantageCalendar or the developers! Now, if only I could get them to customize a mail app for me (:

It’s now been over 2 years using VantageCalendar, and I absolutely love it! Highly recommend!

UPDATE: I have loved VantageCalendar for so long, even having purchased the unlimited. But I absolutely hate the newest updates! Please tell me if there’s a way to go back!

I like it, but...

I like it, but there are some issues. Today is my very first day installing and using VantageCalendar. First off, I absolutely LOVE The aerial-like view and scroll! I also like the ease of adding the calendar events. My suggestions for change are the following: 1. Add a search option throughout VantageCalendar . 2. Add the month to the horizontal scrolling option of the calendar. You can’t see which month you are in when you’re inside of the schedule scrolling in that perspective vs the aerial one. 3. Enable users to click on aerial & scheduling views to zoom in on them vs the change in view 4. Enable users to remove their current badges and colors, and reassign them to a different calendar event (recycle them), versus locking them upon use. 5. I constantly accidentally hit the delete/trash icon when I’m editing the title of an event/appt. I think that icon should be moved from the same line as the title to the bottom of the page, on its own line. Of course I haven’t checked out everything yet, but I like it so far and will continue to use it at this point.

Love Vantage. One teensy suggestion.

I love VantageCalendar. I’m not good at maintaining a calendar, and I’ve been able to maintain this one for months now. Quite a record for me. The interface is intuitive, and it doesn’t overwhelm the user with a spread-sheet-esque calendar populated by too many colors and too much text, with no real focus or flow. I would rather poke my eyes out with pins than read anything even resembling a spreadsheet. So, luckily Vantage doesn’t resemble a spreadsheet. I like my eyes. One teensy request- will you please include in your next update the ability to assign more than one sticker to an event? I have a system of categorizing events, but only allowing one sticker kind of screws my system. (For example, I want to be able to differentiate between different freelance jobs by using the same $ sticker with different activity stickers- like a book for tutoring, or a computer for writing.) Perfect in every other way, though!

Bugged program (Updated)

There’s a book that ever since I had VantageCalendar a year ago WILL NOT DELETE. It always undeletes itself in a minute or so. And if I try to use it and edit or put anything in there it deletes the data itself, so basically it’s useless. I lived with it and just ignored it since my other created books worked. I open VantageCalendar today and for some strange reason there is a new book I never ever created named “Tasks” that popped into existence by itself. I try to delete it and it undeletes itself just like the other book. I think it is the default book VantageCalendar comes with, and not sure why it popped back up by itself a year later.

EDIT: Discovered the fix, had to go to settings on my phone, then accounts & passwords, and deselect reminders and calendars from my emails. My phone was synching/backing things up across different apps so things were acting strange.

Great!

One of my most favorite things about VantageCalendar is that you can set multiple reminders when you are inputting an event. What’s even better, is that you can make them for whenever you choose! One of my main complaints about the stock calendar on my iPhone is that I find myself having to create multiple entries for one event so that the reminders will go off as many times and as near to the time I need them to. Vantage completely solved that problem for me.

Vantage also wins over Apple in the creative department, although there is not much offered that is very exciting or anything like that, at least the option to add SOME color to the format is there!! I have never understood how Apple doesn’t.

With that said, the one thing I would change is that the stickers are quite limited in what’s offered-take a look in any day planners stickers and you will see all sorts of ones for marking different kinds appts, not so much here. The ones they do offer kinda jenky design and look like they need some upgrading especially against how sleek and sophisticated the rest of VantageCalendar looks.

All in all it’s a great calendar app and doesn’t make me miss my Blackberry phone calendar so much anymore. Honestly, if all I have to complain about is the color themes and sticker selection, then VantageCalendar is pretty close to perfect.

On a whim

I wrote the following a year ago, now however two years into it. I’m still happy. Over a year into it and I’m still using it because it’s easy and intuitive; not to mention, everything i wrote below still rings true. Still amazing and only getting better. On a whim I decided to download VantageCalendar. The promising thing about it seemed to be its unique user interface and view of your calendars. In fact I rarely opened it for the first month or two of downloading. When my primary calendar app became somewhat unstable I played around with vantage a bit. Fell in love. The views are amazing. No more than two or three swipes to get anywhere you want. What's more, they just integrated reminders and to-do list! Then tonight I saw an arrow I had never seen before, swiped it and it opened into a scheduling view! Wow! Thank you Vantage.

AMAZING!!

This is by far the best calendar app I've ever used and on the first day itself, I switched from the traditional calendar and reminders apps which I use a lot to this beautiful app. I do have a few suggestions that could improve this even further. Firstly, I used 3D Touch shortcuts a lot on the reminders app so I'd love to see a shortcut that lets you directly go to the reminders section and add a reminder. Also, on the lockscreen I would have a few options when I pressed on the reminder like completed, remind me in an hour, remind me tomorrow. I'd love to see that as well. And one more thing, instead of swiping left and right from the edge, please allow us to swipe from the middle of the screen to change from calendar and reminders as I have a plus phone so it is difficult for me to reach the edge. Other than this, IT'S AWESOME!! Thank you soooooo much for this amazing app!

Loving This One!

This is the best productivity/calendar app that I’ve ever used. It may not have 100% of the features that I want (yet) but it’s obvious that the developers are continuously working to improve VantageCalendar to introduce new features and keep their customers happy.

It has the most gorgeous interface I’ve seen (and I’ve see a lot of them). I like to open it in public just so other people can see it. I love being able to add different color markers and stickers to my events and to-do items. It is SO EASY to use. You would think something that looked so amazing would be complicated, but it’s the opposite.

What I’m hoping to see in the future is the ability to save things from Chrome or Safari to my Vantage notebooks via those browsers. I think it’s called integration? Not sure. I’m no techie. I just know I’m enjoying VantageCalendar very much. Great job Vantage!

It’s crazy fun tbh

I love to organize and write to do lists. I got the upgrade thing and yeah price but I mean. It’s pretty and fun and I have my schedule and lists in it and it’s awesome and I use it for about as much as I possibly can. I don’t have to do lists laying around everywhere anymore and I don’t have to sift through my pictures for my work schedule.

What I would be crazy happy to see though is if possible maybe like. A little section for notes. Like say I wanna plan a quick budget for a trip but I don’t want it in the schedule section cause the trip is two weeks or something like that. Not a drastic thing that needs to be changed because I would still use VantageCalendar even if it didn’t have that. But yes. That’s just. I love it. It’s worth it. I would also love to be able to sync it with another persons schedule app so we can share that!

Great app

Update: this is a great calendar with a very creative design. Lots of options to make events memorable and easy to find and keep track of. Actively worked on and updated, which is always appreciated.

I picked this up a while ago and then didn’t do much with it. I opened it up today and went through all the settings and found out how much it can do and was really surprised. It has a lot of options for creating events and task and lots of color and design choices. You can customize the display of all your calendar events and tasks. If you are a visual person you will like the look of VantageCalendar . I am going to use Vantage a lot more and see whether I can stay with it as my main calendar because the creators are putting a lot of effort into VantageCalendar and I appreciate that. Well worth a try I think.

My New Favorite App!

This is the perfect planner! It’s worth the one-time purchase of $9.99 in my opinion! I bullet journal everyday, but I was missing having all of my events and schedules on my phone for when I’m not near my bullet journal. This is perfect. I love the Book feature! It’s such an awesome way to visually organize lists. VantageCalendar is so clean and well organized, and there’s a layout view for every kind of person.

There are only a couple of minor things I wish they’d add, but they’re not deal breakers or anything. I wish there were more stickers, including action (like walking or running), and religious symbols. I’m making due with the options available but it’d be nice to have more variety. I also think more colors would be nice for events, like add a make your own palette feature?

Great app! 10 our of 10 recommend! ☺️

Total Life Changer

I’ve been surfing VantageCalendar Store for the last two years trying to find a calendar app that can balance the aesthetic feel with the productivity aspect. Vantage does this effortlessly.

However I would like it if there were a few organizational changes. First, for students - it would be great if the books in the To-Dos section had the option to organize and separate their activities by due date. Also, the ability to scale the calendar (right tab) to zoom in and out would be really useful as usually I have many events scheduled for one time and I can’t see any of them as they are so small.

Even with these small issues, vantage is truly the best calendar app to date. It has an unmatched and virtually flawless design and the capabilities of some of the most powerful apps available.
