Best Typing App I Have Found

Updated Review: I was able to restore my previous purchase and am no longer receiving the ads. I actually like OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor a lot and would love to give it 5 stars, but there are just a couple of things that I would like to have in order to rate it 5 stars. One would be to have a shortcut key to insert page break. There used to be an icon on the bottom of the page, however it disappeared, I think, because Apple no longer supports OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor. Although, I can and do still use OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor on my iPad. Two, I would love to have the ability to keep a paragraph from splitting at the bottom of a page with one one word or one line of text going to the next page. Microsoft calls this option window/orphan and when selected it prevents this from happening by forcing at least two lines of text to the next page. Overall, this is a good App and I use it a lot as I do a lot of typing and would definitely recommend it to others.

Bravo for this Free Awesome App :)

great app love it even might pay for it while yes there is a pop up ad but it is there’s to buy the full app but it’s not popping up like crazy never while editing my papers only when in the menu and it’s just a pop up so click the X to close no Ads that play 15-45 seconds or anything like that so no complaints here. FYI I also have word not paying for it the free one is just annoying as using the computer this is way better and i will most likely just delete ms word app. Great job and thanks for not charging a arm and a leg and the best part is i can save in so many formats even docx not like most they will have there own specific document like obt or whatever so you can save it in then maybe txt not this one give it a try it’s everything and the only word document application you need promise!!!! :)

CRASH PRONE due to ADS

OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor is very frustrating and can cause serious errors, spreadsheet scrambles and loss of work from intrusive ad pop ups and constant “upgrade” requests at initial (previous work) loading. Contacting their so-called support team is even worse, since after sending them a very detailed exact description of how/why/when and what happens over and over, they still insist on “screen shots” and “more details”. It would be easier to just write the patch for their lack of error trapping and poor programming timing and input errors, then to fiddle around with “screen shots”... As far as OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor itself, the plain-jane stacked menus are impossible to fully navigate without a bluetooth full-keyboard. Using your standard popup device keypad will soon make you crazy in spreadsheet and word processor modes. Finally, the “autoload last work” feature itself creates “lost-in-buffer” unusable file loading errors, which can corrupt your past work. You must constantly save large active files as you work, changing their file names, to ensure that WHEN (not if) you suffer a crash, your work isn’t corrupted/lost/unuseable. Note that the paid-for “rights” in the “pro” version does not cross over from former platforms (first gen ipads to air4 for example).

Pretty worthless unless you do the paid version

Edit to say if I could give it negative stars… I would… after the developers response to my review…. It would be a negative 3 if I could!!) So got OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor , expected to have to deal with ads of some form…. It wanted me to try the premium version for three days, but I wanted to see what I could do with the free version… You can view files…. That’s it. I mean you can edit a bit but you can’t save, you can’t create a document… nothing. So unless you just need to be able to read/access files the free version won’t do you any good!

In response to the developer, you need to say in OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor info that you can’t do anything but read…. Unless you upgrade. And sorry but that is worthless. I should be able to at least edit and save an existing document in the free version…. You say try the paid version… no, you have a free version it should be able to do SOMETHING other than read the file…. Since you can’t, and I see nothing but complaints about your product…. No way in heck am I gonna try it!

Simply Marvelous

OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor is the very best tool to have whether it be for just Word documents, Excel files, viewing power point presentations or what have you because the benefits far far outweigh the cost of the application.

I will say though that arguably the best part of OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor is it’s seamless ability to integrate non-word and the other types of office files into their appropriate programs. Not to mention the incredible ease of mobile use therein! In my opinion even though there is really no difference versus the desktop versions of the programs, the developers have beautifully made these mobile versions much much easier to use than their big-brother desktop versions and I’ve yet to encounter an issue with any component (something the desktop versions can never say) and that’s if I ever do have an issue. 10/10

Good job on customer service

Old review: In the past, I used to use the pro version of OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor , and enjoyed it. When that got discontinued, I heard that you could still use the pro version if you installed the free version and then signed in via the account. However, now whenever I use the free version and sign in, it does nothing. I get ads, and have lost most of the features I used to get with the pro version. I tried signing out and signing back in, no dice.

Edit: After about 4-5 days (3 business days b/c I wrote the reivew on a Saturday), I received an email from Mobisystems asking me to email them my email address to confirm that I had a pro account with them. After doing so, I was able to get my old pro account back within I guess 2-3 hours. So I was able to have no ads, and mark my pdfs like before. Good job, Mobisystems. I will update my review from 1 stars to 4 stars accordingly.

Misleading advertisement

I bought OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor, but later they wanted me to upgrade it and I refused it (I’m just light user)! They PREVENT me to go to my data and say it’s wrong password! I will call APLE for OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor keeping my data as a hostage! It is very dangerous, because if you don’t pay it you loose it! Like mafia they lock your disk and prevent you access to it!
UPGRADE OF MY REVIEW!
They did something even worse! They deleted my files with Dropbox by upgrading and without knowing me! Probably they want me to upgrade for monthly subscription that way! Bad, bad, bad, really bad and dishonest developers! I’m going to search different solution and drop of using OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor, even I paid for! I guess, many users will do the same! Yes, my saying: CRIMINALS for them is right word!

Great substitute for Word

If you work in MS Word often needing to view info on multiple documents at a time, OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor is a must have. It recognizes Word styles and can connect to OneDrive. It’s packed full of features and doesn’t rely on an internet connection for data collecting that can crash Word or prevent saving. Since Word limits the amount of documents you can have open at one time, it’s a must have to view or work on more than one document at a time. Troubles maintaining all formatting if copying or saving in Doc or Docx formats can happen so save org. Such loss also occurs if copying in Onedrive, but seems specific to IPad. If I open on PC later, haven’t had any problems. If you have no need for subscription to Word, don’t hesitate. Even though I bought Pro Suite I still deal with daily ads to join their cloud subscription. Deducting one star for those constant ads.

WAY better than Documents to Go!!

For years I've been looking for an app better than documents to go. An app that works smoothly, opens all my files with their various settings and options, and didn't have that annoying upload wheel every three seconds. This is OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor that finally set me free from documents to go!

Office suite is cleaner, prettier, and works much faster. I compared it to the native MS excel and word and there's no comparison. It is more functional, familiar, and intuitive than MS's own apps!

So impressed I bought the paid pro version after 10 minutes of use. Wrote this review after a week. No problems at all, and I use a lot of complicated spreadsheets too (conditional formatting, averages, countA, sumif, and so on).

The worst technical support ever!

I have a lifetime premium license. Every time there is an update my software reverts back to the free version or the pro version. These versions have far fewer features. I sent Support requests to the company. I receive tons of resistance to resolve my issue and it usually takes as much as 2 1/2 month to resolve my technical support issues such as this. I use this software constantly, and depend on the premium features. I have been using their software for 4+ years. I received the free lifetime premium license for my iPad When they initially made available for the iPad. The last time I reviewed the software they assured me that they would contact me to resolve the issue. I have today never heard from them and that has been over two months ago. If you have left A review of this software, and they have stated in their reply that they will resolve the issue by contacting you, DO NOT BELIEVE IT. They are only trying to save face and give the appearance that they are going to give good customer support.

Legacy user, they Deleted my account, tried to force subscription.

First off on my legacy user who have been using this back from when it was a one time paid program. They switched to a subscription base model enforced all of us who had paid for it to go and register for this online account nonsense. Then every couple weeks they sign us out of our online account forcing us to sign back in, telling us how it would be easier if we just signed up for a subscription because then it wouldn’t happen. All of a sudden out of nowhere my account has disappeared, says it’s not in the system, and then I should sign up for a subscription. This is a bait and switch from a company that charged people once for an app and then switch to a subscription model, eventually screwing those of us who paid. I’m filing a report with Apple for a bait and switch. This is criminal from a bunch of greedy developers.

Terrible customer care

After my updated review, OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor has sudden
deleted half of my copy and no one at Mobi has gotten back to me with an explanation as to what happened and who within Mobi had made the unauthorized alteration. There is no working customer service contact phone number so it’s impossible to speak with anyone at Mobi. I LOST HALF OF MY COPY AND NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE!!! OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor is not user friendly and the customer service for any help is non existent.

OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor works great but I am disappointed by the forced up sell to the paid edition. Without paying, the basic app really does nothing. I think it would be professional of the developer to say, up front, that if the user want to convert a odt zipped file to a readable version on iOS, you need to pay. NOT COOL, people. Non the less, I needed the conversion so I agreed to the upgrade, for now. But I’m not sure I’ll keep it beyond the 7 day trial... Have some guts, developer and contact me to discuss. Will this happen? Probably not.

What Happened!!!

I am giving 4 stars because at one time OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor made my life so easy it used to do everything . My app no longer works i have submitted many support tickets with no reference number given and no response. At this point i give up. No one will respond to help me there are no updates on OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor Store. I have a paid subscription and have used OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor for almost 2 yrs and it has really helped my businesses because i could do everything right here but it no longer works and no one in support will respond and my last review was apparently deleted. I give up there aren’t any apps that do what OfficeSuite can do. I wasn’t given a ticket number.

Office Suite Mobi version

This is a good solid version of a group of apps that used to be exclusively Microsoft products. My only problem - since I also have the MS version - is knowing WHICH one I am using at any given time and knowing WHERE in the heck I have stored important information!!
After so many years (I am 72 and I have been using Microsoft products since the introduction of Windows - actually before since I had Microsoft Word and MS Excel even before the advent of Windows - on my old 20 meg hard drive Mac SE). — anyway, after so many years there are a LOT of files out there. Wonder if “the cloud” will ever “fall apart” due to sheer weight?! Confusion??

Used to be great...

I used to love OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor. But after their announcement that they are going to transfer to OfficeSuite, now they force you to buy a yearly membership if you want to get rid of their adds, I had paid for the Pro version before and I sent 5 different emails with proof of my previous purchase and yet I had no one getting back with me...and it keeps telling me to upgrade to a yearly membership...it sound like greed to me, I don’t recommend it anymore.

Update:
After two weeks of trying to restore my purchase, it finally restored my account and I am able to use it without the adds.

Not So Great 😒

I thought this was such a great app when I first began using it. It included all the apps that I needed for my business. I have been using it heavily. I have quite a few documents saved. Now when i try to open OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor it doesn’t open. I can’t access any of my files. I’m super angry. I thought the files were backed up but they weren’t and that’s my fault. I tried everything I could to get OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor to open for me and it just will not load. So now I have to delete it and reinstall which is a bit frustrating. I don’t trust that it will not freeze up on me again. I also found that while typing documents it can be a little laggy. Maybe the freezing non opening app situation as well as the laggy typing can be fixed with an update. Right now I just can not recommend OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor. I would stick with pages or something else for now.

OfficeSuite

This is a great software, I did not give it 5 stars due to its conversion from Excel issues. When you convert a file from Excel you will have to work the formatting, especially the cell color and line formats. Even if your Excel file has no color highlighting in the cells, it will when it is converted to OfficeSuit, the cell color / spreadsheet will be unusable till fixed. Other then this issue, it is a good piece of software. I would defiantly recommend

Criminal

I don’t know how else to describe OfficeSuite than CRIMINAL! I simply wanted to see if OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor would meet my needs so I downloaded OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor 3 days ago. I decided to close the “subscription” as it was not what I was looking for. HA! So far I have not found where the unsubscribe routine is hidden. I know that they must have programmers on staff who could write one. However when I click on the link all I get is some tiny script that is formatted so that ti runs off the screen. Scrolling is blocked so you cannot read the full line of text. I tried using Cut and Paste but the only part I could recover were a couple links to Apple Forums. The suggestions referred to an “unsubscribe” button in Settings which does not exist in my version of iOS (12.5.4)

I will continue to attempt to find the unsubscribe’s hiding place. Yeesh! I would only expect such underhanded failure of programming such a BUGGY process from 1) a very inexperienced programmer or 2) a scam program intent on taking advantage of unsuspecting people who trust the “free trial period” claim.

Does anyone know where to file a complaint against a SCAM OFFER?

BEWARE OF TOUCHING THE “GET” BUTTON in the iTunes listing!

A great app that just needs a little more

I use OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor back and forth between it and Word. There are just a couple of things that would push OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor closer to being better.

First, we need a ruler, this would allow quick paragraph formatting, and let us know other important margin and size information. Second, especially since Word is beta testing this now, is trackpad/mouse and cursor control.

On the iPad we now need a full office suite, not a mobile office suite. OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor is so close to being able to deliver that. There are third, forth, and other things I would want you to add, but being able to booklet print is right up there. Keep up the good work.

Constant Nags to Upgrade

Don't get me wrong, this is a great app and seems very stable. After much searching, it was the only one I could find that has all the functionality I need. But I don't need any of the functionality of the paid version. The constant nagging to upgrade is very annoying and it certainly isn't worth it to me to pay exorbitant subscription fees for functionality I don't need, just to get it to stop nagging me. I would otherwise give it 5 stars.

v7.1 on iOS 12.4.2 (iPhone 6+)

BIG CON:
•• Terminates "Pro" app option claiming "New Apple policies prohibits apps that are too similar to be on OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor Store" but competitor Polaris Office still provides Free+Sub and Pro apps.

•• You're required to be always online for the features you've paid for to be available; god forbid you're in a plane and want to work or are in a no-service area, you're effectively locked out from using many features from OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor

•• "Features" like this is why piracy will always exist, you make paying customer's life difficult, and pirates have a much better experience not having to deal with this

Cons:
•• All •• New "slide-down" menú for the ribbon is much slower than the previous pop-up globe

•• Documents •• [2019 Aug 06] The new ribbon menu is now unnecessarily slow, as it is now required to wait for the scroll animation to finish before being able to select an option – Not to mention this animation is not disabled when iOS's "Reduce Motion" Accessibility setting is enabled.

Pros:
•• App is actually pretty good - Other than a few millimetric spacing issues, it has been faithful between desktop and mobile.

Excel Spreadsheet

We use the excel sheet quite often for any kind of bookwork that we need done. The functions that they have to use are very easy and if you do need help you can click on the help button and it will show you what to do. I always use OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor to do my taxes and it is very easy to share it with my Tax accountant. I would recommend OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor to anyone who has a need for accounting work.

Can’t decide what they are offering

So the overview docs say you can create and edit with the free version... but you can’t. The overview docs say you can buy the pro version... but you can’t. Basically this is just like word for iPad- you have to pay for an annual subscription no matter what. No free features. Nada. Nothing. Completely useless. Which, if the description said that, I could have saved the half hour I wasted downloading it, but instead the description says there is a free version and you can use basic features, but... you guessed it- you can’t. Maybe if you are inclined to rent software it actually does something?

Was great until the update and subscription

OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor used to be great for schoolwork. I payed for the pro version of office suite, and had access to all of the features. Then, they updated OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor and made it a subscription. No warnings, and no “grandfather” for those who had already payed for the other app. It is absolutely ridiculous. I have 6 months left of school and I will NOT be paying for a subscription for that time. Not worth it since there are other apps available like google docs.

Good app; does what it claims; easy to use

Upgraded to Premium. Overall very pleased. Use it to write blog posts in Word format and upload to Dropbox. Retrieve on my computer and upload to Wordpress. The paste function occasionally disappeared in Word but would reappear if I exited and reentered OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor . That bug appears to have been fixed in the latest versions. Just started using spreadsheets. Also appear to be very good.
Update: the development team continues to add features and OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor performs very well. Integration with Dropbox is good.

Feature Requests

Great app.
Pretty happy, so far. It is missing 2 things I need.

I will buy $15 OfficeSuite Pro if you add built-in thesaurus and auto word completion - including Learned words.
I do not use Apple's soft keyboard (Swiftkey). I use handwriting keyboard called Myscript Stylus. I need auto-complete built into OfficeSuite. Press spacebar to accept suggested word.

I would also like paid version to have shortcut for Spellcheck Whole Document and Thesaurus on extra keyboard row, and skip to bookmarks forward and backward. Need a button to select a word, sentence or paragraph near cursor, all at once.

Also need Dark-mode in paid and free OfficeSuite, and choose autosave frequency.

What's the difference between $15 Pro and $20 Premium apps?

Thank you. If you plan to add these features, reply here, and put them in feature list of paid OfficeSuite when you do.

My Document Held Hostage

I downloaded OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor to finish a paper while on the train home. OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor allowed me to download the Word document and work on it in OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor . Functionality at this point was fine. Probably a good app.

HOWEVER, after saving the file and hoping to export it I was stopped by a forced subscription. I could not export the document that I had put two hours of work into without first paying.

Also, an attempt to copy and paste the text from the document into an email failed for the same reason. Document editing(including copy function) was limited to subscribers.

There is effectively no way to recover the work that I put in when editing was initially allowed.

I will not pay for the subscription nor will I recommend OfficeSuitedocsPDFeditor.

The invitation to work on the document followed by an inability to access that work seemed to be an intentionally created problem to force subscription.
