Which is to say it doesn’t work at all. I downloaded Gov2Go to get my Covid test results that were supposed to be ready after 72 hours (it’s been over 72 hours and I’ve heard nothing), but Gov2Go is totally unusable. It simply pulls up a blank screen. I deleted it and reinstalled it, and it did the same thing. The actual this app website is also terrible and won’t go past the loading screen with the 3 dots. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Gov2Go and the website are both terrible. I just want request my form 1099-G. But to so that I would need the 6 digit PIN that was apparently mailed to me when I can’t even find if I have an address on file. The message allowing me to request my 1099-G disappeared after I clicked away from it. It would be marginally better if I could even call to ask for assistance in using Gov2Go and website but the automated caller system provides none of the information I am looking for and I cannot reach a representative. I just need to do my taxes. I just want to be able to find my 1099-G.

I have been trying to file my initial unemployment claim for over 3 weeks now and keep getting a message saying “The system is temporarily not available due to maintenance. Please try again later.” I understand things have to be updated but it’s been almost a month. Unemployment Offices are closed due to covid. You can’t get a real person on the phone and their automated filing system is down too.
How are people supposed to get unemployment and financial assistance?

It is impossible to use the mobile platform to access government services that I am enrolled in. Gov2Go feels and operates like it was designed solely by programmers with no consideration for user experience design.

If you are enrolled in a government service through the site, there should be a button on your dashboard to access that service easily. This isn’t rocket science....The only thing I can access is a confirmation that I am enrolled, not the actual service.

Recommend that the developers invest in some real UX designers to improve the apps operability.

Gov2Go is not intuitive or useful. The learnability is bad; I have to figure out how to use it each time I log in. For the past couple of weeks, I haven’t successfully found a way to file through Gov2Go because there is no link available in the “File for weekly benefits” page. The times I have been able to successfully file, I’ve found an entry point through the events section.

I appreciate that the government is offering an app, I can’t successfully file weekly claims through Gov2Go and usually just end up calling.

Gov2Go is now supposed to be used to submit UI claims but there isn’t even a space for that! I do t see any tab for filing weekly claims. The VEC hasn’t even contacted me about my claim from Dec 9! When calling the number it says my claim can’t be processed due to an outstanding matter but they haven’t sent any correspondence to correct said matter! I keep filing my weekly claim and yet you e switched to Gov2Go which doesn’t tell you anything about anything!

First ever review written, I’m in Virginia, not only is Gov2Go horrible (removes option to let me file weekly) but unemployment insurance for the majority of people using it during the pandemic is complete and utter garbage. I have not received a single payment since December yet they continue to tell you to file. They have flexed the number of Virginians who filed being so low but it is only low because now one has received benefits since December, in short, there are a lot of Virginians not only suffering but being used to flex statistics that are fraudulent. This is sad, might as well not download, they won’t help you.

Literally had to download Gov2Go because the website is all of a sudden acting weird and not under their private control like it used to be not long ago and was literally fine yesterday but Gov2Go won’t even load anything it’s just a blank white screen every time even restarted my phone to try to get it to work nothing changed Gov2Go literally doesn’t work. Whoever is supposed to make sure these things work needs to do their job and fast otherwise don’t bother making an app just make sure the original website works regardless. How hard is that?

This was advertised on Facebook claiming the Montana’s Voter Page was being phased out/closed and I should down load this. I did and it never sent me a link to establish a password as it promised.

Today I checked in the Montana Voter Page which is perfectly fine. I called the Secretary of State office tasked with elections. They confirmed their page is fine, is not in process of being discontinued and they had never heard of this.

I deleted Gov2Go . I will be contacting FB is investigate as that is where this was advertised. Not sure this is credible anywhere, or what else it may try to do with your information it gleans. But it clearly misrepresented the Montana Voter Page.

I understand this is a new application. But I feel it is lacking in some parts. We should be able to edit the email receiving address. But there is no place to change email settings. Also for the unemployment pua side. Of Gov2Go it would be beneficial if we could upload documents to ui. That would be directly linked to our social. Because what is going on with unemployment. Some of us are stuck. No answers no help. At least add a few updates. To the email settings. If I can’t go past prompts. How am I supposed to submit information that is required by the gov. By a certain date. Have been trying since March first waiting for a update of some type. Just a suggestion.

I have used Gov2Go for quite a while but after moving to a different county last summer in the same state I have been bombarded with text messages telling me I need to assess in the former county. I’ve contacted the former county assessors office and and the current county assessment office. We are good on everything we need to do but the text messages to assess in the precious location continue......I am not sure who the technician is behind this but Gov2Go needs to be more current on information.

It’s like the new app is going out of its way to discourage someone from booking the Covid-19 testing. If something isn’t broke why try to fix it? I’ve been having the hardest time trying to locate how I can book an appointment and I still can’t find it. I ask the chat and it’s telling me if I missed my appointment book another one. I try to word it differently but I continue to get the same answer. This is annoying and quite frankly an unnecessary update change.

I tried to contact the customer service online and their email support no kne has responded yet. I files my claim for the week ending 23rd May but didnot receive any benefits. This week I am not even able to see my week to file a claim. No customer support is present to assist. I called all numbers more than 50-60 times. Highly disappointed. I emailed customer support email from Gov2Go but no response.

I’ve been using Gov2Go to file since the beginning. It stopped responding and is stuck on April 20. I’ve been filing by phone since and that works. I noticed there was a a new version of Gov2Go on Gov2Go Store. I thought a bit strange that Gov2Go never prompted to download a new version but I did so now I have 2 versions on my iPhone 12 and both are still stuck on April 20. I didn’t think you could have 2 versions of the same app on an iPhone. Any tips on what’s the problem?

I have gotten a request to upload my W-2’s. It says it takes JPEG and different formats. Well, I can’t upload anything. I have tried for 3 days. I got an email saying uninstall and reinstall. I did, didn’t work. I was told to go to the website and it just directed me to Gov2Go . I sent in the error message, hopefully they can help me. Why are we using Gov2Go, when it has nothing connected to the office the notifications are coming from. I think Gov2Go . Must be down, not just all in my head, because I can’t even get through with the phone number provided. It just says try again and hangs up.

IOS fingerprint login doesn’t work .The log in is down today. Previously The my messages tab was glitching out and didn’t allow scrolling. You could only view the top 2 messages. Works fine if accessed from a browser.

Update: I was able to login Gov2Go manually.
My best guess is it was refusing to accept log in with fingerprints.
The messages issue is still there.

The feel is off at times and I can’t seem to always see what I want at a quick glance. It should also be location based. Don’t care about what Colorado is doing when I am in Carolina. 😀

It is impossible to get a hold of VEC. I sent this app a email. They sent me lots of information to scroll through. Fortunately I was able to figure out how to fix my problem. My hats off to this app Technical Support. Too bad they can’t help out VEC until Covid restrictions are lifted. Thanks Again!

I ran into a lot of problems initially with the this app App, but after getting in contact with the support team everything has changed. Chris and Neill, who I spoke with, were absolute dreams and helped me with my issues. If you’re struggling with anything in Gov2Go , get in contact with support and they will sort you right out.

This is a wonderful app!
Most of the reviews that rate low stars are not related to Gov2Go but just peoples frustration with the bureaucracy Gov2Go is the harbinger for. In reality it makes otherwise complicated and opaque systems very clear!
Their support team was immediately responsive when I reported an error in the chat bot. It’s beautiful, simple, and well laid out. Very grateful for its great design!

I was an early adopter of this good idea/poor execution app. At that time my account was in Arkansas. I’ve moved to another state and Gov2Go won’t let me change states in my profile; the state picker is broken.

Idiots who know nothing about app developing-build Gov2Go it’s pointless to many issues and crashed with in a minute of starting it, why do buncha idiots always work for the government?

Cant believe we got message from city saying to use app. Downloaded app, registered with email and would not let be in or accept my password. Did that for both mine and my wife’s email. Can’t find out who to contact to deregister.

Compared to modern apps this seems more like a high school class project than something professionally produced.

As much of a hassle as it is to keep up with the draconian processes surrounding assessing, paying, renewing, etc. I appreciate something that attempts to streamline and simplify things, but this doesn’t cut it.

It feels more like a disjointed webpage viewer than an actual app. Constantly seems to lose my credentials and force me to login again, and it doesn’t really allow you to take action on anything, rather simply link you to the sites. This doesn’t seem to be much more than a buggy app that could be replaced by calendar reminders with web links.

I could only input one license plate registration.

Better pay December renewals in December. Even if you’re still within the 30 day window in January, you can’t see anything in the previous year. Also, my truck still shows as a vehicle but I can’t pay because there’s nothing in my timeline— even as I hold in my hand the renewal card I got in the mail.

The bottom line on Gov2Go is it doesn’t work.

I went through the set up process, verified my email, then attempted to renew my tag.

Once I entered all the information, it got rejected saying I did not verify my email. In addition, Gov2Go will not rotate on your phone so when you attempt to select your insurance company you cannot read the full name. Apparently there are multiple State Farm companies. So I had to guess; gotbit on the third try.

Thought Gov2Go would make a good reminder for me, app won’t accept my vin number even though it’s correct and had just got my tags from the dmv

After creating an account, they sent me an email to confirm my address. I chose confirmation by ‘mobile phone.’ Gov2Go came back up telling me that I need to confirm my email address (!). I clicked on the link again and got the same response. Then I tried the ‘web’ option in the verification email. Gov2Go came up again and said I can’t do that. I was able to continue anyway and bring up my DMV renewal. When I clicked on it the first time, I got a blank page. I tried again. This time the information came up. I entered my bank account information and completed the transaction. The payment failed. I deleted the information and re-entered it. The payment failed again. I tried a credit card payment. I did get to the final payment page. A credit card charge was added. It was never mentioned before this last page, and not separated out as a service fee. I got out of it and deleted my payment info and this app account.

Gov2Go has problems. I also suggest that if the Colorado DMV really wants people to pay without burdening the county DMV staffs in person, nix the add-on fees. Providing ease-of-use incentive and then a financial disincentive makes no sense. I will go down to the DMV (only a mile) and pay at the electronic kiosk there with no extra charge.

This is a cool concept so I was disappointed when I downloaded only to find it can only send generic notifications and not personal accounts. I don’t need a whole app on my phone to keep track of the one time a year I have to renew my license plate. This is useless.

I entered my first license plate and it found and my property tax. Great. But then I entered my second vehicle license plate and it could not locate it. Property assessment is supposed to be something that is reflected as well but upon entering my data that fails to add to calendar as well. Could be a nice app but feel it still has some bugs to work out.

On my iPhone 7 running iOS 11.0.1 version 4.2 ran fine. As soon as I updated to 4.2.1 Gov2Go loads to a blank screen of the expected background color. Nothing else happens. I can’t find any app related contact on their website so I am posting this to warn other users and notify them.
*Update* suddenly started working again. Great program with a little hiccup.

Nothing fancy, but it looks like it will save time and hassle come renewal time.

Thanks for Gov2Go . For those complaining, don’t use Gov2Go and wait in line. Problem solved.

Greetings, I’m writing this email to share my concerns regarding my gov2go account, I have forgotten my password when I’m trying reset the password I type my email which is associated with my account but never receive email to reset my password. Any recommendations highly appreciated.

This is hopelessly useless. The navigation takes you to useless things like dashboard, messages and discover when you need things like taxes, registration and unemployment. You end up going in circles, clicking every link on every page in hopes of accidentally ending up where you need to to. Then, if you eventually manage to find and submit something, the app just sits there. No confirmation, no error, no link to another page. You have no idea if you were successful, failed, or the application crashed. All the most basic things in working software are missing. Can't believe someone was paid to make this. My middle school kids could have done a better job.
