The Banking and TAN2Go apps are a nightmare. They are incredibly buggy for just being a web browser wrapped in an app. Login works so terribly that I am closing my account, because I often cannot access my money when I need it. Don’t sign up for DKB and save yourself the headache !

Look and feel of DKBBanking doesn't feel like a real app. At all. More like a mobile version of a regular website. Too complicated. Too many buttons. The depot part is a zero out of five stars. Especially compared to all new broker apps on the market. I'm afraid a regular app update isn't helping much in the future, a complete "from scratch approach" would be needed. Super disappointing for a an online bank.

The overall functionality of DKBBanking for basic banking is ok but not great. Do not use it for trading stocks however - I‘ve been using it for 8 months now and it‘s very unpleasant. It takes them at least a day to process any transaction and show the correct balance. What is worse is that they sometimes fail to fulfil your order but don‘t tell you. Stay away.

This will be a bit harsh, but I believe the people responsible for this will agree with me. DKBBanking is a 1:1 clone of the banking/online banking website, which by itself is not the most modern one. But you can imaging the work that went into DKBBanking was minimal. Makes sense since they offer a free account so what should one expect. But for example one nasty “feature” is that you cannot login using faceID. The passwords are also not preset und you need to type in everytime or go via the iCloud password manager. Then it needs a separate tan-generator app instead of integrating the two - the ultimate clutter. Connecting your visa to Apple Pay isn’t working properly either. DKBBanking is so bad I am considering to switch the bank just because of it. DKBBanking feels like 2005 not 2021.

This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever experienced, not only for banking. Every time I login I need to reset my password and DKBBanking keeps getting stuck. I have a brand new iPhone 13, so that is definitely not the problem. 0 starts to give if that were possible. Two thumbs down. Get this fixed!

DKBBanking is just a website and there are weird interactions everywhere because of this. And how does DKB not support Apple Pay yet? Their Twitter/PR is making a joke about how it is a long time coming, but it’s not really funny anymore. The once hip startup bank has aged and now seems like a traditional German bank trying to figure out 2019 technology.

Feels like the internet in 2000 with a terrible UI, incredibly complex to use, not intuitive. They must spend their whole day trying to help desperate customers that accidentally got locked out of their banking or just can‘t figure out all these no linar steps.

DKB is a joke. They had 3 years to prepare for the arrival of Apple Pay in Germany, initially promised to be part of the launch, and then fell flat on their face. Not good for a bank that is marketing itself as being technology driven!

DKBBanking is essentially just web browser hidden in an app. For the same reason the controls offered by DKBBanking are very general and not like what you would expect from a native app. The engineers also don't seem to be familiar with design guidelines for iOS. For example scrolling feels very awkward compared what you normally see on Apple devices.
FaceId and notifications are the only thing in addition to the rather web like interface.

DKBBanking is unreliable. How many times am I asked to login with a TAN but then upon closing DKBBanking in the background and the reopening again it doesn’t ask me anymore. It’s a flaw and I really dislike the reliability of DKBBanking in general. Cannot recommend. Don’t think DKBBanking was tested properly.

Wenn alles funktioniert ist die App gut. Die Schwachstelle der App liegt beim Einloggen/Identität. Sobald es das geringste Problem gibt, z.B. neues iPhone/Gerät kann es sein, dass ein neues Passwort benötigt wird. Das Passwort wird zugesandt. Allerdings erst am nächsten Arbeitstag. Also, viel Glück am Wochenende ! Dann landet das vorübergehende Passwort meist im Junk Folder.

DKBBanking is ok in general. But after having troubles with fingerprint login, I‘m now having trouble with my new phone with Face ID. It recognizes my face, but wouldn’t login and stay on log in screen.
Annoying and defeats the purpose of having an app....

Where is push notifications? If I recurve money or some other transfers, need to get informed.

App is pretty good and stable but lacking some important features such as notifications for credit card or bank account transactions. And the biggest problem of DKB (and any other German bank) they still don't support Apple Pay! That's just unbelievable to me!

Update: 2FA now works as expected, thank you. App functionality is just the web site, a dedicated app would be nice.

They have Face ID but it may as well not be there. After the smily face disappears One has to log in with user name and password. Not helpful.
