App recommended a provider who was only 21 and under, it was a pediatrician but why would MavenClinic recommend a provider to me unless it was a fit? Made appointment only to have to pay $ to message back the provider asking if I was 21 or under or had a child. You want extra $ from me to answer a question for the appointment? Absurd. Then canceled appointment because they do not see anyone over 21. No refund because appointment was made same day and not a 24 hour cancellation. As a convenience app and health care model you’d think they’d know people are making appointments same day or less than 24 hours out as issues arise.

The first time I used MavenClinic last year, the NP reluctantly gave me an RX for my sinus infection. But at least she listened to me. Today I had a consultation with one who was like a dollar store version of webmb. I’ve been getting sinusitis/sinus infections for over 25 years and know what to do at home and and when I need to get treated if it becomes immune to otc drugs. Because I didn’t have my symptoms for the amount of time her computer screen said, she did nothing except regurgitate the same things over and over. I was warned about these apps being sketchy or fraudulent (most are being investigated to be taken down) but because of the convenience I went ahead with it. After my maven consult, I went to a local urgent care and was diagnosed (and treated with an antibiotic) for the bacterial sinus infection that I tried to tell the maven doc I had. Patient beware!

Let me start off by saying Maven Clinic is truly a groundbreaking app. I can’t express how much an app like this is needed, especially for millennial women! For $35, you get your ten minutes with the practitioner you need. It’s wonderful.

That being said, my first and only appointment was a little lackluster. I really felt a disconnect between the physician and I, and it seemed that she was staring more at her Google screen than to what I was saying. I selected the category I needed and was matched with a physician in another specialty, which is fine, but I really felt like a bother since I wasn’t in her line of specialty. I really felt no sense of welcome from this physician, which is something I have never dealt with from the doctors I see face to face. I feel that I really received no valuable information, except a few links to pages from Google. It was disappointing, but maybe not a dealbreaker for me and Maven Clinic. When the opportunity arises, I will give Maven Clinic another shot, just with a different practitioner.

Honestly MavenClinic is too pricy and when I talked to the health care provider on there they were not a help at all. The things they said seemed like they googled it. Also, I’m a Full-time college student and money is tight I read somewhere about MavenClinic & I thought it was college student friendly but it’s expensive for the time that is rewarded for what you pay. $10 to send 2 things and $35 for only 10 minutes is not worth it for me. MavenClinic has a great concept and
It is very convenient but I wish they lowered the price or made it where the price you pay is worth the time.

I tried a few pregnancy apps, and Maven is by far my favorite app. The educational content is great - user friendly, actionable and clinically sound - and feels perfectly timed to what I'm experiencing. MavenClinic itself is really pleasant to use. I also appreciate the access to experts. I've been able to connect with a dietician and PT when I've had questions, as well as a care navigator who helped me understand how to use MavenClinic . The PT was really appreciated - there was a 3-4 week waitlist to get into a pelvic health therapist locally, but I was able to schedule with a MavenPT for the next day. I’ve also benefited greatly from the lactation support (thanks, Susie!!) since the baby came.

We have access through my husband’s employer, and I’d encourage all employers to offer it. Not only did it improve our pregnancy experience, we saved so much time from not having to travel to/from appointments (I.e., we took less time away from our jobs), and we saved healthcare costs by not having to see specialists in person.

Can’t say enough good things about MavenClinic. It’s very much helped me navigate the terrain of being a first time parent and made me feel empowered in having a huge care team right at my fingertips. I’m so thankful for my employer for offering this service!

In this day and age I need someone who is easily and comfortably accessible to me and I also need freedom to choose. I found both in maven. Very simple to use. I'm in my 20s and I find this actually more personable than going into a clinic or hospitable. Maybe because I'm in my pjs right now and I've just finished a session!

Maven is awesome. During all the crazy ups & downs of my fertility and pregnancy journey, Maven has been there for me. I’ve been able to get same-day video appointments and texts from exceptional practitioners. For example, I got a 7pm same-day appointment with a world class reproductive endocrinologist when I needed fertility advice after a miscarriage. When I had sharp sciatic pain, I got an appointment in less than an hour with a physical therapist who showed me exercises over video chat while I was in bed in my pajamas. When I have quick questions about what meds to take while pregnant or whether it’s ok to eat certain things, I message an OB and usually get a response in under 30 minutes. It’s so much better than going through my normal healthcare provider, where it takes weeks to get an appointment and every checkup is so transactional. Maven is quick, easy, and has great doctors. So grateful for Maven!

With my schedule it’s hard to go into the doctors for myself. MavenClinic was extremely easy to use and I was able to get anything I needed within the 10 minute appointment! That same appointment and outcome would have cost me way more time and more money had I go into my doctors office! Very happy I decided to try this out!

I LOVE Maven and I also love when the same nurse practitioner is available. It’s so easy and practical and works with any schedule. Being someone who’s works ridiculous hours and travels often I never have time for all the appointments so when it comes time to renew my prescription Maven is the place I go! Thank you thank you for creating an easy outlet for women’s health!

I travel a lot and don't always have time to go to the doctor for simple ailments. With MavenClinic I'm able to schedule appointments when they are convenient to me and get prescriptions sent to a nearby pharmacy. SO convenient when I need something for a yeast infection or UTI and can't get to a doctor. Both practitioners I've spoken with are super knowledgeable and helpful. I'm so grateful for MavenClinic!

Maven concept is perfect for busy and smart women who don’t need to reinvent the wheel for small routine medical. And the practitioners are so well vetted and experienced. I feel I’m in great hands. Today my practitioner and I spent 7 minutes and with pre appt notes there was no wasted time. She was delightful and so well versed in what I was experiencing and how to handle. Called in a prescription. And I’m good to go. That’s the way medicine should be for non acute conditions. Go Maven!

I just moved and now I live over an hour from my GP but, using maven made my life so much less stressful! You can talk to a real doctor (they’re all so friendly) at almost any time of the day and they’re able to write prescriptions and send them right to the pharmacy. Seriously, MavenClinic is a time saver and a life saver!

I travel often for work, work as a contractor, and don’t always have reliable coverage. Maven’s healthcare team is perfect for those of us living unorthodox lifestyles. The professionalism and care was better than anyone I’ve seen in person over the past few years. Plus it’s easy to get follow-up for any ongoing issues. This is telemedicine as it should be. My only concern is that I didn’t know about Maven sooner!!!

I was getting really shady advice from a High Risk OB/GYN towards the end of my pregnancy and the hospital that he was affiliated with wasn’t offering much help either. It was impossible for me to switch doctors that late in the game and I was able to get expert advice from an OB/GYN with an IVY league education and over 20+ years of experience in the field! Using the Maven App, during the time of a pandemic, I teleconferenced with the doctor on the same day that I made an appointment. I delivered our beautiful baby girl stress free one week ago and she is happy and healthy!

I received access to Maven through my employee benefits and I am BEYOND impressed. MavenClinic is extremely easy to use, from finding information, trainings, and connecting to providers. The care advocate and team of providers are truly wonderful and I’m so happy to have access to them without having to go anywhere in person. Can’t recommend this service enough and highly encourage all prenatal and postnatal parents to look into this!

What a great way to provide needed services. As a busy professional, it is hard to find time to sit down and talk through my diet issues. I know that I have questions. And that a nutritionist should be able to help answer those, but prior to Maven it just seemed too much of a hassle to try to schedule.
I just finished my first session and I am well-pleased. I received full attention, great suggestions and a feeling that the person was listening to me and responding to me (something that doesn't happen with every doctor's visit). I highly recommend Maven and its methods

I wish I had known sooner that my insurance covers any appointments during pregnancy and 3 months post partum. I have had several appointment with different providers and they are all brilliant and highly educated on their field of study. I have been able to answer questions my regular OB might not have covered and attend classes my hospital doesn’t provide. My husband and I have been able to attend doula sessions, and really educated us on child birth, partner support, and all lanes of what could happen. I would pay for this service and look forward to continuing to use for my baby/myself in the future.

I just found out my birth control prescription needs a renewal, but my doctor won't renew it until I come in for an appointment. Problem is, I'm about to move! I won't be able to get in for an appointment, and it'll be really hard for me to get an appointment any time soon between moving and starting graduate school. Maven is a lifesaver. I booked an appointment for 6-6:10 PM earlier today, and it was only $10 for my first call. The call with Dr. Berryman lasted maybe 3 minutes? She was very nice, very helpful. My prescription went to my pharmacy within 5 minutes and will be ready for pickup in an hour. My mind is blown! This service of course does not replace a Well Woman Exam, but it's a life saver if you need a prescription between exams.

Listen, I’m a skeptic, too! But I just finished my appointment on FaceTime from my home and I had an excellent experience. MavenClinic popped up on my ads on Instagram. I don’t currently have health insurance and I really needed to see a doctor. I was given a free appointment and the doctor was on time, really kind, listened, answered my questions, and made great recommendations. She included notes so I wouldn’t forget information and immediately sent a prescription to my pharmacy. Definitely recommend at least trying it out!

Prices aren’t too high. I love that I don’t have to leave the house and they can even give me prescriptions like Birth Control. The one feature I don’t like is that I have to pay for per message when talking to a nurse or doctor. I can understand per conversation but sometime you need more than one message to clear things up.
