I get the circular “wait” signal when logging in with a patient waiting and the screen is frozen/locked. Only option is to restart, which I sometimes do 7-10 times before it randomly works or I get a call from NOC as to why I have not seen the patient yet. Re-install, phone restart, force quitting other apps makes no difference. Easily the most frustrating part of being a provider. Please put more priority on fixing this.

Crashes every time I logo in. I have to re open it like five times. I have a new iPhone X with updated software. This would be a great app for us docs if it could work. Please fix this guys

AmericanWell is terrible! It does not work consistently, making it virtually impossible to plan appointments with patients. Tech-support has poor follow-through with resolving reported issues.

Keep crashing, difficult to login even with a good signals of your network service

So frustrating! When it connects right it’s great! But most times it disconnects from other platforms for no apparent reason.

Can’t even get the application to login. Can get on through the chrome extension just fine but AmericanWell doesn’t work.

Clicking on connect to patient from waiting room only brings up spinning wheel and ends visit after 5 minutes with no screen to call the patient. The tech department seems to have no clue. They send a troubleshooting guide meant for computers.

Beyond AmericanWell being slow, counterintuitive, and just generally bad - Amwell will screw up your monthly direct deposit and tell you oh so gently they’ll be happy to fix it *next month*. Have fun paying your bills! Good luck!

AmericanWell will only allow me to be set up under one account which prevents me from having an accurate view of my calendar and scheduled appointments. There should be a way to sign in and have access to each platform on AmWell just like one would on the web app.

It would be SUPER helpful if the scheduler worked across ALL platforms. As it is, a lot of my appointments don’t show up in my calendar.

August 2017. Used the haptic feedback for 4 months without issue. Now I cannot get AmericanWell to display on the watch.

AmericanWell has definitely improved.

I really only use it for scheduling.

The flexibility to practice wherever is great.

I enjoy the American Well system. AmericanWell is easy to use, although I prefer scheduling my patients on my laptop.

I was skeptical at first, but I now realize the benefits of telemedicine.

AmericanWell was somewhat confusing my first time, but now I can use it with ease.

I was worried that my existing patients would ask a million question, but surprisingly things have been smooth for them.

This application lacks many of the features of the web based platform. It is cumbersome to login on a mobile device every time the application is opened, even though it is running in the background. Enabling Touch ID would greatly reduce time and frustrations. Additionally, there is no ability to write a sick slip, or provide patient education through the application, which is a large portion of patient care. The user interface makes it difficult to write a SOAP note, as it does not allow full scrolling in the free text screen, and it is not possible to minimize the keyboard, so the end of the note is hidden and difficult to write/edit. This application is a great starting point, but needs many improvements to make it more functional.
