In need seriously improvement.

Frankly speaking I’m baffled given this is an India APP. India apparently from various articles I historically read, have some of the world’s best APP developers/APP support/software developers and tech supporters yet AirIndia at best is simply average... it’s ordinary, hard to navigate. Passengers should be able to upgrade online easily, it’s currently challenging. You receive a confirmation number... then later an email titled KYC reject explaining why AirIndia rejected your purchased upgrade!?

Additionally we should be able to change the frequent flyer program online on AirIndia . Currently AirIndia notes to call center for assistance. I called, I emailed and no one seems to be able to assist. Their only solution which is unacceptable is to change the frequent flyer program upon luggage check in at the airport. However how does the airline upgrade by status if one cannot enter the proper star alliance frequent flyer number? My flying returns is a new account, less than a year. You would never know by looking at my profile if I am global service, silver and/or gold status.

Very bad service at Ahmedabad airport

On March 19, I traveled from Air India AI638. Baggage check in and Security check in was completed perfectly. After that I was entering to the flight. Some employees of Ahmedabad airport of Air India behaved bad with me. My bag was accidentally slept from my hand they scold me that it is overweight. It wasn’t. The person who do baggage check in he checked everything. Still the people who are outside they don’t have weight machine, their job is not to check weight and still interfering without any reason. They gave me threatening to take the bag. They touched and open my bag without asking. They took photo of my boarding pass. I don’t feel safe about my personal information . Very bad service and very disappointed. I will never travel by air india and never come at ahmedabad airport. Recommended to not travel from this airport.

Toilets without toiletries

Stewards congregate and talk for most of the flight time in back of the plane

Lunch and dinner Serv like feeding prisoners

No entertainment chennles are working in my row of 34 of 3 seats and divert attention of stewards but no end result.

Dianner trey are Brocken and I am trying to submit pictures what I took

No three pin plugs on plane even though this long distance flight . Only USB connection and that was not working.

Connecting flight from Delhi to Baroda.

Nice clean and well mannered friendly staff.

B4 is my seat. But next seat occupied by some government office having identification card ( external him affairs) something like that in his neck trying to bully on staff trying to show his power.

Do you actually give miles to Scattered family buys?

The Air India frequent flyer ‘Maharaja’ member program offers the benefit of earning miles/ points that we can redeem against our next airline ticket purchase.
A good app to get the advantage of miles if they are honest in terms of miles, points & fine print after we’re confirmed & then active Maharaja members, perhaps.
Grievance is that you don’t allow Indian citizens, Indian p/p holders with a Green card NRI’s to form ‘Mera Parivar’ My Family Pool online & we are ‘quite Scattered & not a Gathered Family’ because of that.
Challenges & Apps needed for creating the account from iPhone are
-Photos stitch app for first & last p/p page like ‘Tailor app’ or something else.
-Small KB upload file allowed. Overcome this by ‘WhatsApp’/ SMS send file to local number & then save your ‘Compressed file’.
-Attest any document by ‘Adobe fill & sign’ app. or any other pdf creator & editor app.
Kids are very excited with their Air India Maharaja Travel Membership Cards.

Not up to mark!

This needs a lot of work. First of all, the integration to the Flying returns is not there at all, which is very basic necessity. Don’t the guys designing the site (perhaps at NIC?) see how any other international airlines site is designed and presented? The flight status is not updated at all! My wife traveled from DEL-SFO on Oct 7th by 173 and the flight was delayed by 5hrs departing Delhi and yet the site never showed the latest information! How dumb can this be? Secondly, how difficult is it to integrate the flight tracking with any popular sites like Flight Radar or any other? Come on guys... any international passenger visiting the site is laughing at you!!! Grow up!!! Wake up!!!

Keep declining credit card for booking a flight

Not only is it the worst site to make a booking but keep declining the credit cards. When I called my credit card companies to ask what was going on, they said they never got a request for charges and they didn’t decline and don’t see any flag that would prompt declining. They said it must be Air India site glitch. Needless to say I can’t make reservations online. I guess I am forced to take another airline. They wasted one hour of my time and lose me as a customer for now and for ever. Bad management…no wonder they are perceived to be one of the worst worst airlines.

No clear instructions on booking a flight in COVID situation. Price are too high

This organization is trying to cash out this COVID situation. We know that Air India is in losses. But this is not the way to get into track by collecting extra money and limit the service and no. Of seats.

Why don’t the Indian Government just tie up with other airlines and help the ones who are in real need.

There are no clear instructions on how to book a flight.

This site is really old and the application is worst. Atleast, why don’t you guys update your site/ app.

Just comare your site and app with other airlines. If you want to be the best and get out of financial crisis attract customers with best service.

For instance, I really don’t know what is the difference when you select flexible dates and fixed dates. The results shown are same. Again the user has to go back and check if he is a Robo and finally see the same screen “All tickets are sold out”.

Cannot check-in on the app

2 years in a row now, I have not been able to check-in on AirIndia from JFK to DEL nor on the way back despite the reminder received via text message and through AirIndia .
You go through the process of entering all your information and confirm your seat and it goes nowhere.
Last year coming back from DEL to JFK, I had a confirmed selected seat but AirIndia would not let me check-in and due to the long lines at the counters (passengers for all Air India flights to the US and some domestic, all in the same line !!! ) by the time I got to the counter, they gave my seat to someone else.

Very glitchy

From the opening page this is a poorly designed APP. Looking at the home page, there is NO obvious button for BOOKING A FLIGHT! If you can get a booking window to appear, but run your cursor down over other menu options to get to the booking window, all the junk you don’t want opens and the booking window disappears. Too much unseeded junk on the opening page.

No consistent place to note errors If the page is not complete.

I like the design a lot

It is well laid out, easy to use and otherwise intuitive. However the “days to check in” field doesn’t update and it’s not that easy to find out where the frequent flyer miles are and if they are being credited.

Overall: Good front end but still needs some back end work, which shouldn’t be too hard to fix

What does this app do?

When I click on evacuation flights all I get is a web page describing the process. I'm unable to get to the booking page so I can check what flights are available. I'm almost ready to delete AirIndia.

Made multi city reservations in five minutes.

I love the Air India mobile app. I was unable to connect my multi city reservation on my computer. Why ???? Then I went to my mobile app and made my reservations in five minutes. Nice job, Air India.

Worst service & bookings

Very bad app, after booking ticket don’t know whether it really booked ticket or went something wrong and mentioned customer care numbers wont work, if any way it works no one is going to pick call. Dont know how they r running this airline without giving proper service to customers and that to on the name of our proud country. Air india should be shame of this kind of service. Hope in future they take all these reviews and correct it.

Worst app for an airline

Having been member of the Maharaja Club a few years ago, I discontinued flying AI due very poor customer service and absence of airline enabling booking on Star Alliance, though AI has been a member of the Star Alliance for long. For example, if one wants to travel from Mumbai to Dallas FW, then AI will make bookings only on AI route and one can’t travel onwards using AI app. Booking process is also unfriendly and very poorly designed. This is sad given that india is a SW Develpment hub and is recognised all over the world as such.

Horrendous service . Expected way too high

This is my first ever experience on Air India . It’s been the worst so far . I have been trying to call the toll free number to get an upgrade from economy to business class and I couldn’t get thru anyone . Thank his I just made a one way fare . I don’t think I would ever recommend or even travel on this airlines. I was expecting a warm and wonderful experience becoz this airline is a home based airline . I’m still holding on to speak to someone for an upgrade ! Wow the irony

Overall Improvement

The staff is very good but the aircraft is pathetic. The TVs do not work and the seats in business class do not recline very often. The bathrooms are always clogged. Even if the TVs work the choice of entertainment are below par.
When you call this app, the customer service folks never seem to know anything.
If you are a Frequent Flyer and would like to redeems point for travel they never seem to have the flights you want.
Being the national airline it is shameful
Hopefully Privatization will help

Worst Customer Service and not customer friendly app

It’s the worst app I have experienced so far. Even start up companies app would be much better than this. Worst customer service as customer representatives do not have any knowledge of rules/fares. Different customer representative says different things. Also phone quality is not sure. Worst worst worst!!! Not even a single star.

It has been 3 days that i am trying to get in touch with customer representative to confirm the changes they have brought to my flight itinerary but each time they say they are busy with other customer and the waiting time is 10 minutes but after an hour waiting online still no one answer the call and at last you have to disconnect

Fix it! Now....

Air India has all these IT people working to develop a good and simple App and this is the best “App” you can come up with? Wth.... I can’t sign in and or sign up for the account cause it keeps giving me errors.. I have yet to get confirmation texts...but i do get the emails... I’ve tried 3 times and nothing. The “App” is way to clustered and needs better layout. Fix it ASAP...

Mishandled Baggage

Recent flight from Eugene to Bodhgaya with a party of 6. 13 pieces of checked baggage only 6 arrived in Dehli with us. Of the 7 others 6 arrived in Bodhgaya 3 days later and one is being held in customs and due to traveling we have not been able to retrieve in Dehli. We will have pay storage fees to retrieve bag. This level of customer service is un acceptable. I would like to receive a response from you. I a very unhappy customer.

Very bad I am embarrassed

I would never fly again in Air India. I’m ashamed of their quality of clean list, and the staff is very rude, their televisions don’t work, when they change the route they don’t have a courtesy to let the passengers know that flight is going to different route than expected. I would strongly suggest any of my friends not to go in Air India. Every other airlines that I flew is tons better than Air India.

I use AirIndia whenever I travel through Air India. But some improvements should be made like - My frequent flier points are not being updated in AirIndia . Please fix that.

Functions but deserves more love from devs

Although AirIndia functions with few glitched here n there, the UI is very poor considering this is an international carrier!
Imagine a non-Indian looking at AirIndia! What impression does it put!
Even domestic carriers have better look n feel and UI than this.

Crappy app. Useless and time waste

AirIndia is at par with the airline services. Both are crappy and a waste of time. I would rather pay some more than fly Air India. Online check-in service doesn't even work just like the entertainment display on the flight . Why bother with AirIndia or web check-in when they are useless tools.
