I got my hair cut by a man on the VIP list. I wanted thin, face framing strands right in the middle — chin length. After chopping a thick chunk of hair way too short right off the bat, he attempted to layer it into my hair, cutting more of my hair shorter and shorter. The result was a choppy uneven mess that I had to clip up for a month, and am still attempting to grow out. During the process he admitted to me he had been fired from hair salons before and that’s why he went to shortcut. He told me he didn’t really know how to frame women’s faces (a fact he should have told me before the cut when I asked him if he could do it). He said “but you believed I could do it couldn’t you, because I talk so confidently”. Made me really uncomfortable and took forever to leave after the cut. Shortcut comped the cut, but I explained the situation to them. I don’t want this happening to other women. They reassured me that they would handle it, yet here he is two months later still on the top of the VIP list. Probably could’ve had a better haircut at great clips. Really disappointed in the lack of response from Shortcut and I sincerely hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Will not be using this app again.

I have an iphone SE 1st gen. My phone is still supported and gets latest updates as far as I know. But it has a small screen. When I enter the app, I get a pop-up with covid-19 info. The button is far too down for me to click it. It’s been made only for bigger phones. Thus I cannot say how good this app is, bc it’s unusable for me

Just tried to get a simple haircut appt. and if I had even had the chance to get one even in the next few days, that would of been great but instead they did not want to come for one appt. little did they know I would of had a whole bunch set up the next time ! Their Loss!
