I got my hair cut by a man on the VIP list. I wanted thin, face framing strands right in the middle — chin length. After chopping a thick chunk of hair way too short right off the bat, he attempted to layer it into my hair, cutting more of my hair shorter and shorter. The result was a choppy uneven mess that I had to clip up for a month, and am still attempting to grow out. During the process he admitted to me he had been fired from hair salons before and that’s why he went to this app. He told me he didn’t really know how to frame women’s faces (a fact he should have told me before the cut when I asked him if he could do it). He said “but you believed I could do it couldn’t you, because I talk so confidently”. Made me really uncomfortable and took forever to leave after the cut. this app comped the cut, but I explained the situation to them. I don’t want this happening to other women. They reassured me that they would handle it, yet here he is two months later still on the top of the VIP list. Probably could’ve had a better haircut at great clips. Really disappointed in the lack of response from this app and I sincerely hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Will not be using Shortcut again.

Met the reps at a tent at EDC. We’re very friendly and helped me set up an appointment the next day. Came on time and they were punctual with my appointment and greeted me with a smile. Even went the extra mile to offer my group free water because it was so hot out. Would highly recommend.

Uber for haircuts! Convenient, easy and high quality. Plus my hair looks better than ever. My barber was legit too! Definitely going to use this again.

Shortcut will crash every time I attempt to log in through facebook. I tried creating a new account without linking it to FB but Shortcut asks me to verify my phone which is linked to the facebook login account i already have... madness. If you can use Shortcut , great. If not, straight up not worthy it

I recently met and interviewed the CEO Irvin Slobodskaya. The passion and care he puts into this, especially to help barbers create their own businesses, is really inspiring.

Shortcut itself is very well designed: clean, clear, and effective.

I have an iphone SE 1st gen. My phone is still supported and gets latest updates as far as I know. But it has a small screen. When I enter Shortcut , I get a pop-up with covid-19 info. The button is far too down for me to click it. It’s been made only for bigger phones. Thus I cannot say how good Shortcut is, bc it’s unusable for me

Just tried to get a simple haircut appt. and if I had even had the chance to get one even in the next few days, that would of been great but instead they did not want to come for one appt. little did they know I would of had a whole bunch set up the next time ! Their Loss!

Functional, always works, payment is easy, no glitches, have booked twice and happy. Lifesaver app/ service as a working mom!

DO NOT TRUST THESE CREEPS. Downloaded Shortcut once, when it was first launched, to check it out; deleted it. YEARS AGO. Never created an account or agreed to any communication or info sharing. Got a spam text today using my first name and directing me to open Shortcut . Will be notifying Apple. Will also be looking in to any class action lawsuits that stop this invasive behavior.

Great app design, service makes my life so much easier AND helps me support independent stylists and barbers. 10/10!

Love this app! Who doesnt want the convenience of a stylist to come to you? It’s a great service And the stylists are always superb. Highly recommend.

Shortcut was super easy to use and the haircut was top notch. This was hassle free and the barber was in and out with no mess left behind.

Great job on the cut. Nice guy. He’s a little younger than he looks in the pic but, that’s ok! He’s coming back to the beach to do another service tomorrow.

Use it for every haircut I get. Quality barbers and a clean experience. Tried it in SF and the barbers are great out there too

Booked a barber, he canceled at the last minute, then the support concierge simply tried to reschedule me with the same guy the next day. Really tons-deaf and shows a lack of concern for customers. Do not recommend.

I was stupid enough to download Shortcut. I booked an appointment, they charged me $65 dollars, the barber did not show up, I’ve contact support for nearly 2 months, never received a response or refund.

I’m contacting Apple to have Shortcut removed from Shortcut Store completely.

So convenient, easy and practical. Changed my life!
