Summary of Thumbtack Problems 🔥

- Thumbtack charges a lot of money for leads, even if they don't turn into hiring.

- The app charges for leads from customers who send out mass emails without even visiting the pros' profiles first.

- Thumbtack reduces the price of leads if customers contact multiple pros, but the reduction is not significant.

- Thumbtack disabled the account of a professional without giving them a chance to tell their side of the story.

- Despite trying to disable everything, the app continued to contact a user about leads.

Have not been getting leads from thumbtack. They just want me to keep increasing my lead prices so I can get more clients. It seems they are trying to scam us in paying them more money for nothing. So they don't give us leads hoping for us to increase lead fees.

How to fix Thumbtack app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Thumbtack app on iPhone
Update Thumbtack app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Thumbtack iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Thumbtack on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Thumbtack network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Thumbtack Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Thumbtack not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Thumbtack App
1. On android, goto Settings » Thumbtack » click [Force Stop]

Update Thumbtack to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Thumbtack App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Thumbtack » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Thumbtack.

Fix Thumbtack unable to contact server/ Thumbtack internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Thumbtack » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Thumbtack » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Thumbtack
