Seems like whenever I want to use Capriottis I get the “we are experiencing high volume” message. I then call and get right through. Not sure if it is a app problem or that the location where I shop just turns it off. Frustrating part is that you don’t get the message until you go through the whole ordering process and go to pay.

I love Capriotti’s but hate how difficult it is to order sandwiches that aren’t one of their classics. When trying to order a Ham and cheese sub, I have to call in to the shop because there is no option on Capriottis to create a custom sandwich. Very limited to the classic subs, turkey subs, vegetarian, or meatball subs.

Also the customization options could be better.
Does not give option to change cheese chooses or allow you to add extra mayo or or any other condiments.

This is honestly the most disappointing thing that any app has ever done for its loyal customers. I have had Capriottis for at least 4 yrs and I can’t believe this new update that I was FORCED to make completely erased all of my points and entire purchase history. You lease fix it, ASAP.
I wish I could give Capriottis a Zero stars. I’m highly disappointed. Just Terrible.

The old version worked perfectly every time but as soon as it was updated it crashes literally every time I try to log in. I input my email and then password and as soon as I hit enter it crashes. I had earned a free sandwich on the old app but since I can’t log in it seems I have lost that reward. It has been a month! When are you going to fix Capriottis so it doesn’t crash every time I try to use it!?

I hate when apps don’t work like they should. I got an email saying I could get a $5 Bobbie if I downloaded Capriottis . So I downloaded Capriottis , checked to make sure the coupon wasn’t expired, and tried to make an order for pickup but it wouldn’t apply the reward, it kept saying my order didn’t qualify for the reward. I had nothing else on the order except for the sandwich, I tried adding a cookie still no. Very frustrating.

I’ve earned free 9” sandwiches when I always order 12”. I’ve tried to save them for when I’m not as hungry, only to find them not available after a couple visits past when they were awarded. I can’t find any clarity on the issue in the small text.

Functionally for ordering... it works.

Also, I like the friendly employees at my local Caps and always left them a tip on my credit card when paying at the register. I love the way I can order w Capriottis and my sandwich is ready when I get there, but feel bad I am no longer tipping the hard workers.

When I first got Capriottis , it worked just fine. For the last few months, if I try to use it, the “get notified” pop-up box appears, and the screen freezes. There is nothing I can do to change it. Nothing I try to press or swipe does anything. I have tried closing Capriottis and even deleting it, but when I open it back up again, it’s always the same. The manager of my local capriotti’s tried to help, and he couldn’t figure it out. I tried clicking on app support and it took me to the same screen. Leaving a review seems to be my only means of communication to get help with this.

I’ve use Capriottis for years and worked well. Was just forced to update Capriottis in order to place an order and now it does not work. When you try to login it just crashes. I’ve tried it about 30 or 40 times at this point different locations different Wi-Fi‘s and always the same thing enter my email address then next and enter password then login in and immediately crashes. Even tried resetting the password and the same thing happened. Clearly this update needs to be corrected and until it is I’m not going to go to Capriotti’s. Bad enough I lost all my current rewards. Won’t even let me submit review as no matter what I type nickname taken including my actual name

The past 4 or 5 times I have gone to Capriotti’s it gives me an error message when I try to enter the barcode number on my receipt to earn my points. My receipts always total $31 so I have been royally screwed out of rewards points. This is getting ridiculously frustrating. I’ve always loved and appreciated Capriottis, but now I am just so frustrated thinking about all the free sandwiches I should have gotten from points I’ve earned. I should have found a number to call to try to resolve this the first time this happened.. even the second and third times as well. It’s not just a matter of “trying again later” like the error message tells me to do…. Cause it’s literally like two or three months later with the same error message. Smh. So frustrating.

Online ordering with app fails to count my visits. Have to send an email ticket every time. Only way I get credit is by phoning in order and scanning receipt or ordering in store and scanning receipt. This however defeats the purpose of haven't Capriottis that you can order ahead with.

First time I tried to order through Capriottis . App reported that it couldn’t reach the server. It would not let me retry, saying the order had already been sent. But the order remained in my cart. Had to check to see if my credit card had been charged. It had, and the order had gone through to the restaurant, but Capriottis doesn’t know that.

When trying to use Capriottis today, TWICE my entire cart disappeared. Once when trying to clear something Capriottis asked if I wanted “to continue,” I did want to continue shopping not continue going backwards. The next time I was in the payment process, scanning my credit card was an option but my camera was off. A pop up asked if I wanted to go to settings. Which I did. THAT ZAPPED my cart! Annoying!! But I did end up ordering by my troubles weren’t done, the local store messed up my order.

Hope you all have a better experience.

Though Capriottis is good it needs tweaking. It’s relentless daily you have 3 notifications and no way to do anything about it causes me to delete Capriottis after every use.

Developers, create an option to turn off even the notification icon on Capriottis or remove it entirely.

Love the food can’t stand Capriottis .

I spent over $100 dollars at Capriotti’s and got a free sandwich reward then a couple of weeks go by and it’s gone no notifications or anything!! The rewards expire and Capriottis won’t let you know even with push notifications Tuned On!! Capriottis is great at locating and ordering online! So don’t be surprised if you spend over $100 dollars, get the free sandwich and then have it disappear without notice!

Love the sandwiches but hate Capriottis . Why can’t I save a favorite location to order? Why can’t I save my favorite sandwich and be able to order in 3 clicks? It takes way too many steps to order the same sandwich I always order from the same location I always order from..

Capriottis got rid of a few options that Capriotti’s still sells. I used to be able to order through Capriottis , which was convenient. Now, I need to call the store to order - missing out on all of my Caps points. There really is no customization on Capriottis , which is a shame.

We love all their sandwiches and salads. The people are great and friendly. Corporate doesn't respond to questions about Capriottis . Looked through my past activity and didn't get credit for 2 visits even though it show in the history.

People seem to forget this is about reviewing Capriottis ; not the restaurant!!!

As an app; they have a functional rewards program that pushes deal out every so often. There is also a find a restaurant location built in and the "all important" let's get social. The best part is the integrated online order. It's simple. It's effective. And it doesn't cost extra!

Capriottis has a tutorial (unnecessary) to walk through everything. I've never had Capriottis crash. Almost everything works. Sometimes the barcode scanner doesn't work, but they have a manual input system for that.

All in all, Id add a feature that tracks how I like my sandwich. Why? Well people trim them out differently; it would be cool to see what people do and how they like it all over the country. I'd much rather see that then the stupid pre generated text spam "I just ate at Capriotti's" that serves as the social media content.

Overall. Capriottis is 4 stars. Dropped a half star for barcode non functionality and a half a star for annoying / non imaginative "social media" focus. Bonus points for the online order system, good map/locator and solid rewards tracking system.

If I try to add chips in the “My Recommended Items” section, it asks me to please select a flavor, but leaves no way to do it (iOS 12.2, iPhone SE).
I also cannot find a way to delete favorites that are no longer relevant for me.
Overall, nice app though.

I love this app and I love Capriottis . Only thing I would request would be the option to select the cheese for your sandwich. The customization feature allows you to select no cheese but sometimes I would rather have provolone than American or vice versa.

Since the last update, Capriottis doesn’t work. I keep getting an error message that says - too young under terms and conditions. I have emailed support twice over almost 2 weeks and other than being assigned a case number, have heard nothing back. The developers should respond within the time frame they say.

I can not get this application to work. It either locks up in the beginning portion or I get my entire order in and click the payment key and it tells me I must call in my order. It has not worked for me the last 3 times I have tried to use it. Why even have an app?

Nearly every time we order on this, we get errors that our location is too busy to take our order. This is the apps fault since they take the same order over the phone without issue. However, we don’t get our count to go up, nor can we use online coupons. Capriottis needs some work in the execution of placing an order.

Works well for ordering ahead and managing rewards. Way too many notifications. I have deleted Capriottis because of the frequency of notifications.
