I paid for a tier that included no ads and wifi transfer. In the last update, they removed wifi transfer from that tier for even purchases prior, instead of grandfathering earlier customers. Not very professional that there was no mention in the update that this change would happen! If they had said something, I wouldn’t have updated. I paid for this product upon an understanding of what it came with. It’s unfair that they went back on their agreement after they have my money. If I buy a car from you, how is it fair that one year later you come back and remove my steering wheel? Bad business, don’t buy from these swindlers!

Had PV for years and now for the second time with an update all photos are stripped of their meta data and uncategorized. Now this second time my phone doesn’t have enough open memory to complete the process and I cannot create enough memory without deleting the photos in PV, which is now impossible. SO it would appear I’ve LOST EVEY PHOTO IN PV FOREVER, never to be seen again. Nothing else about PV matters if you lose what you put in it. Also, there is a link to contact developer which just spins for me. Thanks

I did exactly what the developer asked me to and that was restore my backup and it still didn’t work I have lost tons of important pictures and files thanks a lot

I have switched my iPhone from an iPhone 8plus to iPhone X and now I can’t even sign in even though I’ve had PV for months when you redownload even if you signed up with email and password if PV gets deleted all your information gets deleted

And PV developer didn’t even bother to make an attempt to help situation now they wanna charge people for PV and the same problems gonna happen to you down the road

When I downloaded this application, it pretty much checked every box I had for features that I would want in an application to hide media from prying eyes.

But it had ads, so if you wanted to get rid of those and enable the WiFi-transfer feature (to transfer images to and from the application wirelessly) there was an in app purchase of $1.99, so I paid it. Was happy as could be!

Then recently an update came, and I stupidly updated (the release notes did not state that the new update was removing functionality that previously existed).

The update brought along a “Subscription”... so that if you want to be able to backup your files to a cloud service, and if you want to use the WiFi abilities that were both unlocked after you had paid the previous in app subscription, that’s all out the window!

So now if I want to be able to transfer stuff wirelessly, I have to pay $7.99 on top of the $1.99 I have already paid! For a feature that was once there, and has now been removed, being held for a $7.99 ransom!

I have no idea if PV is worth a dam or not! I just got it downloaded and they are asking me to rate it to open it so of course this is the best unknown app out there I would recommend it to everyone I don't know.
I give it 10 stars for being desperate and for jumping the gun!
It would be great if you could trust what they write about the features but in the end they treat you like this and ask you for a rating or a review before you can even use PV so what do they expect.........I can only hope they expect to be lied about and not trusted!
If not they are bigger fools than they think we are!

I had a crap ton of pictures of my ex that I needed to get rid of, however I didn’t want to permanently delete them because they held so many memories. Got PV to keep them in a safe place but get them out of my photo album. Great for that purpose, however it won’t let me export more than say 30 photos at a time. It is also quite inconsistent with the amount of photos it will let me export. I tried only 19 and it just kept loading forever. It just frustrated me a little. Other than that, good app.

PV is all around good for the most part, but once you delete it and decided to reinstall it there is no sign in option for you to get your old account yet. Once you delete PV everything you ever had in it is just gone. Definitely not okay with that, at all. I mean almost every app has a back up option or a sign in option. If all your stuff will delete after you uninstall PV then what’s the point of downloading it!?

Alright, I actually really like PV. I just want to say though, I hate it when it gives the notification thingy sometimes when you open it that theres no more storage and you need to get more storage to use PV
also sometimes when it deletes pictures from the camera roll, it still shows the pictures i put in PV but darker
other than that i rlly like it :))

TLDR: good however it lacks organization features

It works well for what it does but it doesn’t have robust album organization, there’s no branching folder system just each individual album all in the same area.
If you have more than ten albums it begins to look messy and cluttered since there’s no way to refine your grouping.
I have to do a bit of scrolling to view all albums, you can move them up or down the list it’s just not the best at sorting.

Some sort of grouping feature like color coding or being able to place albums inside of albums without merging all photos together would be much more convenient.
The only feature I saw that remedies this costs money - the album layout setting, it just changes the size of each album fitting more on the screen at once.
I thought I’d leave this review of my suggestions since I didn’t see anything related to organizing on their upcoming new features, though I’m guessing majority will cost money being locked behind the “Pro VIP Membership” version.

Definitely shouldn’t hide pictures of your mistress from your wife using PV. It would be a really bad idea to hide the photos behind a fake password and then put some generic junk under the same password you use for everything. You know, the one your wife knows about. Only a horrible person would do such a thing. Love you honey! I have to work late tonight and may slip in perfume and glitter on my way out of the shop. Don’t wait up. :)

My phone constantly runs out of storage so I downloaded PV to save space. It's the best app out there for saving space and for saving and hiding pictures and videos in general. You can make different albums for your pictures and videos and it's overall just a great app to have.

I really love PV and I think it’s the best but I’ve just have a question . If I personally don’t delete the photos does PV itself delete them ?? That’s the only thing that I’m scared of I don’t wanna lose the pics. But overall PV is great !! 💕 I think that it really deserves 5 stars 😊

I’m pro member after the last update I can’t open PV , starts scanning after this PV just appears for 10 seconds and go to background app but I can’t use, the problem my backup photos is a lot a pics to recover, how can I get back my pics or get a previous version... I use iPhone X, in the iPad works great I little slowly but working...

I’ve used several apps that are used to hide photos or password protect certain photos. This one is BY FAR the best one I’ve ever used. I purchased the lifetime membership option and I have no regrets. It worth every penny. I love how the storage space is unlimited. It also has an easy user face. The fake password one is excellent. Just in case someone whose super nosy finds PV and is too curious I can tell them the fake passcode and they would be able to see just the few random photos that I stored in there to disguise what photos I’m really trying to protect. Overall, 5+++++ stars for this one.

I've been used it for a long time and really really love it 😍
Use it to hide my personal photos, I can automatically delete the original photos after importing, the decoy password feature is a plus and it’s free while all other similar apps need to pay for it and very expensive!
PV updates often and it’s quite reliable to me!

This is a great app to have, and even the free version offers so much. I’ll definitely be getting the paid version soon. However, I had an app before this that allowed me to place folders within folders, which I really liked, since I could organize things better. I’d love to see that added in the future!

I've used this for some time now, and have always appreciated the updates and features. However, after the most recent update, the password feature no longer works. I open PV and it goes right to my albums, and gives a message at the top telling me to set a password. I do and close it so I can test to see if it asks for a password, and it doesn't.

I love PV because it helps me keep all my pics safe and if I forget the password I have a thumb print. I just won't to thank the people who crated PV, thank u so much. And sense I'm an Arab I need my pics to be safe even tho I'm only 13 years old. All my Arab friend that I take pics with ask me to keep it in a safe and I prefer PV because it just takes a few step but other app need accounts, emails, passwords and other things. And I love editing my pics with PV. Once again thank you so much for PV.😊

You can make a password to open PV and it gives you notifications if it was put in wrong! Also if you close it or like open that thing where you can go through different apps that were open, you have to re-put in the password!! Great! And also you can put locks on albums! It deletes pictures from your camera roll (With permission) if you want to hide something! And you can get it all back! Also works with live photos! Yall put yall FOOT in this

PV isn’t super cheap, but having your photos backed up a a separate lockable cloud is totally worth it. I like the organization and it’s an easy to use interface. I just wish it had a computer app because I don’t want an iPad but I wouldn’t mind being able to use a slideshow on my computer to view my pictures
