Where do you sign up for Tangerine ?? When I first opened it it only showed me the login!!!

Had Tangerine for years, worked perfectly fine. The new design has terrible UX, hard to navigate. Today it gave me an error message when I tried to log in. Why spent money to make things worse?

I liked using Tangerine , less it's horrid cheque deposit function which never worked, until the last update. Now I cannot sign on as it crashes when I click "log in". I've redownload Tangerine several times and cannot use it. So now, it gets a zero rating. Thing is, it’s been three weeks blue and they haven’t bothered to fix it. Or even acknowledge that there is an issue.

Please bring back the old UI! It was perfect before. Clear, organized, fast and easy to browse around.
After the latest UI update, the new UI is now very lagging, complicated, unorganized and very hard to use. It’s a downfall to the latest users’ experience.

The mitek auto picture 'steadying' algorithm was awful and wasted 3 minutes each cheque side until it finally presented the manual shutter button. Please just leave the manual shutter button visible! Il the iPhone 6 has laser auto focus and img stabilization, at least remove it for the ip6.

Mostly just a hack of the mobile website. Stupid marketing as soon as you login every time, and it’s exactly the same. It takes up half the screen. Get rid of it! Tangerine is trying to be flashy and designed by someone not in touch with people. Ugly bloated display. A simple clean app with info all over it. Stupid notifications counter on Tangerine icon that doesn’t go away and is useless. In that I don’t have a choice, Tangerine gets me by. The old one had a nicer interface. Cheque deposits are awkward at times. When I open Tangerine , why do I have to click to login? Being faceID and TouchID does the login? Some other banks just log you in when you open Tangerine , an obvious easy time saver.

Knowing that Scotiabank is the parent company of this app, Tangerine should be on par with scotias. Please just pay someone to make it easier to use and look just as elegant as Scotiabanks.

Excellent functionalities but the overall look and feel of Tangerine is not great and it can be pretty glitchy sometimes. Needs a major redesign!!

The banking app gets the job done and does offers some great features that aren't found in many other mobile banking apps. That being said, for what is essentially an online only bank, I was expecting more from their app. The design is a bit clunky and certainly not optimized for mobile. Actually I'm pretty sure it's just the mobile site in an app wrapper. It would be nice to have an actual native iPhone app experience.

There security levels seem a bit random too. I can see my balance in Passbook. I can see my notifications without needing to login. I can use snapshot banking with just a fingerprint where I can do all my banking except depositing money and transferring money. For full banking I need a fingerprint and a pin. What's the point in not allowing deposits without a fingerprint and pin but allowing email transfers with only a fraction beer print?

Overall, good bank, decent app with lots of room for future improvements.

Love Tangerine, it just works! I am still trying to figure out why it needs Touch ID and then your PIN, but oh well it works

I like how easy it is to use Tangerine . Doesn't seem to have any issues. Glad I can rely on the mobile app!

There are two things in particular that I like about it.

First, it let's you see your balance without logging in each time. If you want to do things like deposit a cheque, then you log in. Handy.

Second, the cheque deposit system is much less finicky than others I've used. It's quite painless.
