Absolutely hate the newest changes

This version is the worst. There are several steps you must follow to see what payments are pending. This resulted in paying the same bill twice in the same month. The prior version would warn you if that 2 payments were scheduled and require you authorize or cancel one of the payments. This change makes me think about changing banks and I’ve banked at this bank system for 50 years.

Meh. Could be much better

First, I'm using an iPhone 8; not a big screen. CB wastes SO MUCH screen space on useless things. Right now, EVERY TIME I SIGN IN, I have to close the SAME two messages that I've seen for the last couple of months. That lets me get back almost 1/4 off my screen. Suggestion: once I've acknowledged a message, REMEMBER and don't show it again! Second, get rid of the chat button. It's ALWAYS in the way, I have used it ONCE and probably won't ever again, after they screwed up my account. Because of the chat button, I can no longer log out of my account on CB , because that stupid blue chat icon is covering the icon I need to use to sign out. THAT'S secure, I'm sure!! All in all, it lets me see my balances, move money between accounts, but that's about it. And isn't that what bank app supposed to do in the first place? You don't get extra marks and kudos for just hitting your target.

Mobile Check Deposits

I was very excited to find out that I could finally deposit checks with my phone in the newest update. However, this feature does not seem to be working properly. I choose the account I would like to deposit the check in, enter the amount, and take pictures of the front and back of the check, but after that point, the screen goes blank and I am unable to successfully deposit any checks…

This app works.

CB allows me to do almost all of my banking from my phone. My only complaint is that I wish there was a way to add a custom name to individual accounts. On the main dashboard I see all the accounts I am linked to, but only by type. If I could add custom names, I could see “Mom’s savings”, “My Checking” etc.

App is ok

I have reoccurring payments that need to be entered each week and they are often the same but CB won’t let me process so I have to change the amount by a few dollars. Very frustrating. It was fixed for awhile and asked if I would like to process anyways but then went back to the old way that was and is not efficient.

Room for improvement

CB functions well outside the fact it requires a second log in to see credit card accounts attached already.. also the inability of both Parents to be able to access and view accounts belonging to their Minor children… no real complaints beyond these inconvenience nuisances.

CIVISTA app

Generally like CB , but since a recent update, I have problems with it on my phone. When I try to click on specific accounts, I accidentally click on “financial tools”. When I do this I can’t get out of it to click on the items I want. I have to exit CB and start over. This is very annoying. I use an iPhone

Awesome!

I love CB . It’s so convenient. I can deposit checks from my phone. I work while the bank is open so it’s hard to deposit checks in person. The people that set up my account were very nice too!!

CIVISTA app

I like everything EXCEPT the chat icon partially covers the menu icon and when I attempt to log out or choose another action I have to wrestle with “penny” to get it out of the way. Until that was added CB had perfect!

Easy to use

I recently started banking with Civista. CB is easy to use and has the main features you want in a banking app. The Face ID login feature works especially well and logs you in quickly. I’m happy.

I love it. They have been there helping me through my life changes. What issues that life has thrown at me I could always count on them helping me find a solution. I don’t think they even realize how much it has meant to me.

Love Civista Bank!

I really hated to see Henry County Bank switch to Civista. BUT Civista is very similar to HCB w/ even more to offer ~ like CB , friendly & helpful service, & being able to turn off my debit card, if needed. Also, greatly appreciate the “Fraud Eye” alerts! Thank you, Civista, great customer service!!!

Super User Friendly!!

CB is so user-friendly!! I love that I can link my other bank accounts using CB and see all my activity. Such a quick reference at my fingertips. Such a wonderful tool to have for every day use! Go Civista!!

Review

The updates to CB keeps it current and helps to be more user friendly. For instance making the help widget on the screen and being able to move it around to be out of the way was great. These types of upgrades are great for the user. Please keep upgrading. I will try to think of upgrades that I think would make it better and post to this review page, if I can make another.

It’s been a tough year with a change in management and piecing books together. CB was instrumental in helping navigate what we faced. I no longer need to check accounts several times/day but was so glad I had that option

Easy to navigate! I have been with citizens/civista since I was a teenager! More than 50 years ago! The customer service and friendly people at your branches are second to none! Thank you for always being there for me and my family.

Beautiful app with intuitive interface

CB works nearly as well as that of much, larger banks, such as USAA, Federal Savings Bank. It has an elegant, simple interface that is intuitive and easy to understand and use. I don’t spend time trying to figure out how to do things.

Easy and reliable

I’ve been using CB since the beginning, and I’ve rarely ever had problems. Balances, transfers, statements, etc, all available 24/7, within seconds of access of CB . Been very helpful and will continue to use for the foreseeable future.

Love it!

I use it every day. It makes keeping track of my money and where it’s going easy.

using multiple accounts is just a click or two. A must have for all CIVISTA users.
