Cannot enter Vivint.com to login. Also the android app seems locked up. Cannot change temp settings
When I click on the app it takes me to a screen that says sign in. When I click on the sign in button it goes to load a page but it never loads. Just stays on a black screen. I've reinstalled app and cleared cache.
Android app has had problems playing Events for over a year. 3 separate support contacts yield the exact same response - "we're updating the app next week, which will resolve the problem". If you expect to use the app, don't buy the product. The video files are fine - can view them outside of the Vivint app - so it's truly the app that is garbage.
We can’t select and delete videos, like we used to. Have to go video by video to delete them now. 🤬🤬
started about 11-1-23. Can't access playback on app (Android) doorbell playback for events.. had a theft and can't access playback.. Vivint has been garbage and horrible quality have had other incidents in neighborhood and these cameras helped with NOTHING.. ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
I have 4 cameras. I can view events on several of them, but not the doorbell. Every time I try to view who has been to my door or if a package was delivered I can't open the event to view because it shows an error saying no decoder or some such nonsense. Not only that, the 2 way speaker function never works on the doorbell either. Rebooted multiple times and installed updated software. Very aggravating

Event video playback says no decodervideo/avc. Tried reloading app, no help. Been with VIVINT about 10 years. Good for the first few years but gets worse each year. Looking at new system and company now.
I'm trying to connect the device to my phone, but it keeps saying it's an error. It says it can't connect to vivint.

I have had vivint for close to 2 years now. It is constantly some problem with them. The most current is the 2-way-communication on the panel - not working. Works perfectly in test-mode. But does not do so on a live alarm. This problem cropped up a month ago, and I have had 4 techs here, multiple panel swaps, and close to 50hrs of diagnostics from me. Here is the flow - 1. alarm triggered from panel (w/wout internet) 2. monitoring center receives the alarm 3. the panel is supposed to call the monitoring center - not happeneing 4. so the call from the monitoring center does not come through 5. monitoring center calls on the phone --------------------------------------------
Vivint app takes several minutes to load at all, and then another minute or so to load any video either live, or playback. As far as security goes, how exactly is this lag in functionality useful? If I'm trying to look and see if someone is outside, by the time the app finishes loading so I can see, they could've broken in and killed us all.

Vivint has been freezing while using mobile device. Very annoying.
My vivint app keep crashing on my tablet. Soon as I open the app and turn the tablet sideways the app closes out. And I get a error message telling me my app has a bug
We have Vivint all over our 6k sqft office building and I'm starting to really regret it. The customer service is horrible and the technicians are children that show up when they want and take forever and end up not finishing or causing more issues. The app crashes on the tablets we bought to monitor the cameras with no fix in sight. We can't set the alarm from the inside because of the way the tech setup the system either so we have a fancy panel that can only be used to disarm the alarm. So only someone with the app can arm the alarm. Overall this company just feels like a cash grab and will probably sell to ring or something soon.
We had a upgrade about 3 months ago, and this system runs like Crap now, with different issues. I would not refer this company to anyone its CRAP

Since 8/3/22, all my Android devices live Vivint video freezes. I have done everything including uninstalling/re-installing the app and it does not resolve. I spoke with Vivint customer loyalty and they were aware of the app problem starting 8/3 and assured me their engineers and technicians were working on it. It has been 4 days since that call and the problem has not been resolved. Not a happy customer!

Android app suddenly in May shows error when using video playback feature. System goes offline for 2 hours no explanation. Horrible chat and customer service solutions. Was pleased with system almost 2 years. Reinstalled app a few times. Changed my internet provider and speed. Disappointed.

Have an iphone 12. Running ios 15.5 Running the current vinint app version 22.5.501. Non functional after using the app one or two times. Nothing opens or responds via touch. Have to delete app and reinstall it. This started to occur on ios 15.3, 15.4 and currently 15.5. I have not received any feed back from Vinint software support, email or by phone. I have a case number which includes no replay from any camera from the Smart drive (DVR). That’s if i can get the app to function. I was told i would hear from software support 24 to 48 hours. It has been well over 72 hours and no email or phone call
