myQ Garage & Access Control Status

October 28, 2023 - still the same issue with the app freezing after clicking "I'm Ready" when trying to set up a camera. Solution is to use another iphone, download and install the app, log in as yourself, then it will let you install the camera, go back to using your own iphone and the camera is installed. You'd think they'd fix this glitch after over a year. Thank God for the internet.

I've been struggling with this for a couple of days till I found this thread-- tech support pretends you are the first person ever to notify them of this problem, and is no help at all, and they say they'll get back to you in 48 hpurs, but they never do. The suggestion from Telan 7 months ago worked for me today with my iphone X-- I borrowed another iphone, downloaded the app, logged in as me to the myq app, and was able to load all the cameras, which then appeared in the myq app on my phone. Only other suggestion is that if you are adding multiple cameras, like I was, one at a time, after they successfully finish connecting, delete them from the list of devices in your bluetooth settings-- if you don't you will not get past the last screen where you name them and they load into the app.

When trying to setup my new my q camera using the app, when I check all four boxes and click ready after about 10-15 seconds the app just closes.

Seems like the issue with the app crashing has been going on for over 6 months. How am I supposed to use my camera???

Just purchased a MyQ camera and when I try to set it up, the app crashes.

I faced same issue with my new iphone 14. I solved it. Install myq app in different iphone or ipad and register your came using that device with same user account. Then it will show up in your other device.

We all have the same problem and no solution. I called today and they said this seemed like a new problem. Disappointed

Same as everyone else. Check the four boxes click I’m ready and after maybe 45sec the app crashes. Please fix this issue iPhone 13 Pro Max iOS 16.2

OnePlus 6T Android 11 phone (3 years old). I used MyQ for a year (2021-2022) but after moving, I uninstalled it for a few months before reinstalling in November 2022. I get stuck on the opening white screen for several "wait or close" cycles that can take 5 minutes or so, if it works at all. Sounds like a problem with MyQ's newest version. Hey MyQ, please junk the new version that probably has bells and whistles nobody cares about and go back to the one that actually works the way it's supposed to... please!

As of last update, app keeps crashing and is unusable. Customer support has been useless. They said they would get back to me in 48 hours but nobody did. When I called them they couldn't give me any information other than, "they are looking into it." Guess it's time for a new garage door opener company.

When Myq swicthes from blue screen to main screen, screen turns white and app freezes up, "app not responding after 2 minutes appears" when waiting for about 3-5 minutes the main screen finaly loads. Looks like its stuck or reading corrupt data. Android deives, cleared cache and storage several times, uninstalled, reinstalled app, rebooted devices app to no avail. running out of ideas, seems like some user date is still saved on the device and has become corrupt even after cleasring cache and storage. Are there any residual files left on the storage, even when the app is uninstalled? Thx, Carsten B

Bounce sound on iPhone disappeared with one of the previous updates. The notification sound is now the default sound that apple has for all of the others on the iPhone. It is of most importance to understand when one’s garage door is opening and have that be a separate alert from all of the others. please help..

In the last month, I’ve had to reset My Q garage door opener app 4 times after it rains. This has never been an issue until recently.
